  1. May be some type of statement from ED about what there future intentions are for CA. Turning CA in to a high fidelity sim or just incremental improvements.
  2. +1 It would have been something if the two had co-operated on such a project Literally the best of both worlds. I like CA for what it is but it could be so much more.
  3. IMO, I think its the logical progression for DCS To build a ground warfare sim Along side the Air sim.
  4. New Steel beasts update due soon Version 4.0 due in a couple of months Esim tend not to show new content till very near its release date. Lots more information to come before the release date. [ame= ] [/ame]
  5. My spitfire and i are eagerly awaiting its arrival, tally-ho chaps. LoL
  6. I wonder have ED management considered giving a free ground unit type vehicle. Be it a tank or APC as an incentive to promote the module if it ever materialises. This has worked very well for them in the past, I would never have given the SU-25 a try had it not been free, very glad I did though it got me interested In CAS operations.
  7. You are correct IMO, the key to a successful armour sim implementation in DCS world WW2 is difficulty setting /scalability not everybody want high a fidelity simulation, but hard-core milsim fans like me would
  8. I really hope this comes to fruition. I truly believe there is a market for a high fidelity WW2 armour sim. Look at the success of the MMO WW2 tank games
  9. +1 I would like to see a high fidelity WW2 armour sim in DCS
  10. +1 IMO, Good sales of CA will bring us more fidelity. ED are a consumer driven Company sales will determine the future of CA. So lets get out there and promote it. I am actively promoting CA on sim HQ and plan to do the same on some forums.
  11. This has already been discussed at length Wont go in to details but it is not going to happen. I agree SB is more high fidelity then CA But on the other hand you cant call for CAS missions in SB IMO. Something that it sorely missed in SB. I think with more support from the community CA can one day reach or even surpass SB.
  12. Have to ask but has anybody nuked Vegas city yet if so screen shots please. LoL
  13. I like both skins, but skin two is more authentic for desert terrain.
  14. More fidelity would be welcome I enjoy CA for what it is But IMO, there's a market/ need for a modern AFV simulation With a emphasis on the consumer market
  15. Thanks got it sorted the problem was on my side. I think the site is going to be a big success with hardcore milsimmers
  16. Having issues trying to register. But I will keep trying, Have always enjoyed your AAR's BeachAV8R PS don't forget SB. LoL
  17. Great read BeachAV8R. Thanks for posting. I am watching how things progress with this concept. So far I am liking what I see.
  18. How about a world war one setting similar map, Wonder if there would be support from the community for WW1 air combat.
  19. Picked up three modules for less then I spent going to the movies the other Day . its also a great way of supporting DCS. Come on guys four bucks for combined arms. We need more players give it a try. I am new to the flight sim genre. But even if I don't take to it I only spent ten euro and will get a few hours entertainment out of it for that price you cant go wrong
  20. I'd like to enter for the 109, thanks.

    DCS Xwing

It would be the best selling module in DCS history. IMO But personally I want one of these. LoL
  22. I would have to disagree with you on a couple of points. I will admit the graphics in Arma 3 are superior then SB What makes SB a cut above Arma is the level of accuracy and realism they have spent over ten years working to make SB as accurate as possible. its used by over a dozen Armies including your own ADF the aussie guy in the video is a High ranking aussie officer with responsibility for training your armoured officers he uses SB for the task. I do agree its well within DCS/ED capability to make a high fidelity armoured Simulation. but It would take a long time and a lot of money to be any ware Near as accurate as SB the armour simulation market is even more niche Then fixed and rotary wing models currently in DCS. Personally and this IMO, some type of partnership between DCS/esim is the Way forward.
