Viggen is my number one, no questions about it but the F-14 is in second place. Viggen would be so awesome, reversing engines etc... Maybe it is too hard to program/model, I dont know. -

As mentioned above, maybe you can alter the deadzone for the stick? Did that for my rudder pedals when drifting.

Dont know if this came with the latest patch but is the smoke increased for the Gau-8? When firing now the whole HUD fills up with smoke so it is impossible to see what I am aiming for. Anyone else with similiar problems?

I dont think so but I will check with him.

WTF? Problem with FW-190 in mission editor
Kilrah replied to Kilrah's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Sadly I didn´have a backupfolder. Will remember next time. The problem was that I left the zip file in the "original" liveries\fw-190d9 folder, not the _MODS folder that I used in JSGME. Don´t know why because all my other mods was ran trough JSGME. I guess I simply forget :music_whistling: Well, it´s up and running again and all mods are back  (with real textures for the FW) -

Kilrah replied to Kilrah's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Well, it seems that the problem was that I left the *.zip file in the liveries\fw-190d9 folder after unzipping *duh* *stupid* Yes, I´m using JSGME, or "was using" before the uninstall. :music_whistling: -

Kilrah replied to Kilrah's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Yes it´s strange. Well, got it to work at last. Complete uninstall with Revo Uninstaller, renamed save folder, Reinstallad, Works! Though I lost all my mods but they can be installed again. Thanks for the help. -

Hm, no I did not. Was afraid to lose my progress and control settings. Will try that! -

It was worth a try but no... same problem still. -
Installed the "authentic" texture pack for the FW-190 a couple of days ago (with the *.lua files). Now I cant place the plane on an airfield without the game to crash and I have to force close DCS World from the task manager. I can however place all my other aircraft just fine, it is only with the FW-190 that this crash occur. I have done a repair, no go... Uninstalled the whole DCS World and reinstalled and also all my other modules. Same problem. Dont now what to do next, Suggestions?

Kilrah replied to Kilrah's topic in DCS: Flaming Cliffs
Yes it seems to work fine. The only thing I am missing is the waypoint number I am currently heading to. -
Su-33, Su-27 navigation and weapon questions
Kilrah replied to Kilrah's topic in DCS: Flaming Cliffs
Yeah, I guess I´m looking a little too much at the HUD :music_whistling:, time to work the Track IR then I guess  -
Hi all! I´ve been flying the A10C module for a while and now doing some missions in the campaign in the Su-27. Question: Is it not possible to navigate and have the weapon/radar active at the same time? For now, I have to switch to "1" and look where I am heading, ok looks fine, pressing "2" for BVR radar and 27ER missile. Configurating my radar for TWS mode, search "distance" at 100 km. A while later, back to "1" to see where I am heading, ok looks fine, back to "2" for BVR radar, switch to TWS, changing distance to 100km....etc It is suppose to work like this? I guess not? There must be a function so I can both see my next waypoint and at the same time have an active radar/weapon.

And I was happy to see that I zoomed in when tilting my head forward. Been struggling in the A-10 to get this to work and then it automatically works in FC3. Happy time! Has changed the zoom in the A10 as well now.

I dont know if I am kicking in open doors here but I also had problem with this. Got a bit easier/better when making a route and put a "landing waypoint" on the carrier (and a altitude of 80ft/30m) Maybe worth a try? EDIT: Ok... misunderstood the question, my bad.

A big AMEN to that brother! It feels that the sims are the last resort for us hardcore gamers these days and we dont want to have it simplified just so some random kid can understand how to fire the GAU-8. With you 100% As you say, in CoD/BF etc it is a lot of "teabagging", "faggot", "noob" but here people are instead helpful to those of us that maybe isn´t THAT good, instead of bashing them. Players getting better and enjoying the sim instead of leaving it in the bin, and that means more and more players and hopfully a bigger fanbase for the sim-franchise. Win-win situation. But dude! Bashing the Wing Commander series. Dont! Best space-arcade-shooter ever made! :smilewink:
