http://www.sendspace.com/file/tvgzqk ^^^^:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: SERIOUSLY ? COME ON  Missiles are borked, they've "adjusted" them, as the term "NERF" is not used in the sim community, altough taht is exactly what this is. And they've adjusted them to a pile of crap
-
Well, you know what , i don't know . I just can't imagine them being so crap IRL
-
Well they aren't making them more realistic either ! ;) Oh and BF4 blows.

Upgrading the PC core
Maximus_Lazarus replied to Griffin's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
good, sli/crossfire board . Can't hurt, you never know :) oh and for DCS, Intel is the better choice. This goes for everything else to . .... FLAME WARRRRRRRRRR -
ahhh Did NOT know that. thx man I still think it's rather silly that they won't find their target even when passing it THAT closely (literallly talking meters here) , but so be it. I also do not remember it being this way, so they probably nerfed the aim 120's .
-
So, you say the missile DOES go active, then why don't people even go the slightest bit defensive ? They aren't getting a warning signal , even though the missile is supposed to go active ?

Upgrading the PC core
Maximus_Lazarus replied to Griffin's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Don't think so , i think that cooler will do fine for a sane voltage (somewhere up to 1.35 Volt) overclock -
then why is the enemy not going defensive ? I hear people saying: "yeah i already wondered why you didn't fire " . The missile does NOT go active :-( And come on, those missiles go past the target by METERS , there is simply no way it could not have found him If this is the case from now on, than it may seem like they went a little overboard with the aim 120 nerfing, and you're better off carrying some ER's . p.s: ET missiles are just about as useless as well, also received a nerf ?

Keep in mind that haswell's run pretty hot just like ivy's You're gonna need a bigger boat if you going to overclock . For 80 dollars you can have a very clean and super easy watercooling system (corsair H80i just to name one) , idle temps will be about the same as that air cooler of yours, but when the voltage is increased, so will the efficiency of a watercooling system. edit* sorry nevermind, just looked up your "kuhler", it's a watercooling and comparable to corsair H80i or Corsair H100 . -
Missiles are supported for as long as possible , in these cases for more than halfway to target I mean they practically hit their target while going ballistic, at SOME point they should go active and aquire the target, but they never do You can clearly see the enemy makes no evasion actions, meaning they did not get a warning tone, meaning the missiles did NOT go active, AT ALL
-
Well ? I really need some comforting

allright I'll upload some http://www74.zippyshare.com/v/19808703/file.html http://www.sendspace.com/file/p2bo3i

My pile of tacviews where my missiles calmly fly by enemies is getting a little too big. It's like they just never go active. And i'm talking close to the point where they would almost hit even if they weren't guided at all  This is kind of enfuriating

Oh and is the teamspeak broken ? I can no longer connect, do i need to update ?

Maximus_Lazarus replied to Skulleader's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
k, i will update the 1.2.7 and keep the beta as is just in case -
yeah but just imagine the feels They spend YEARS planning, then weeks or months getting it air worthy again. Then the stupid pilot goes off roading with it untill the gas tank shakes loose and poors all it's content over the APU  I was thinking "why the hell is he going so rough at it" , just before the smoke started. Really , REALLY a big bummer

Leave the profile settings of the games in the driver config at default. (in most cases) If you are just curious , and want to explore a little as to what settings the nvidia driver uses for each game, you can click "manage 3d settings" . It's the one in the middle of the top 3 , i say this because it may be called differently in english. There, you can select any game that is installed on your computer (and all games that exist and are NOT installed) , and see what settings are used. (and change them individually if you want to) You will find that most settings will be set at "application controlled" , meaning that the driver does not override the in game settings. However, if you're playing a game, and you are not satisfied with the amount of say Anti Aliasing it offers, then you can change it to ridiculous amounts in the driver if you want to :) This is very usefull for older games, that you never could run properly, and now DO have the horsepower to crank sh^t up :) It is also usefull for console ports, that sometimes have horrible graphic settings like "crap" and "less crap" . ("high" and "low") Anyway, you will love nvidia drivers very soon, i personally think they are miles ahead of ati drivers, not to mention updated every month . If a new big game comes out and there's no profile yet for optimal performance ? A hotfix will be written by nvidia guys within days . Anyway, that is one brutal card, i'm a little jelly . Have fun with it :smilewink: -
ohyeahhhh , still love that one D: I loop this for an hour when i workout though whr9br3i3L8

can't get below 55 fps no matter what camera angle or zoom , mostly fps is between 80 and 130 (seems capped there ?) all maxed out @ 1920x1080 but with 8xAA 3770K @ 4,7 ghz GTX 680 (sli) mem usage, 2,9 GB i think (= not gpu mem, don't know that one) p.s: How do i get to "default camera angle" if my keyboard has no numpad ? Also, how do you get to your "average fps" ?
