I'm pretty disappointed with this direction. All I really wanted was better lock and fuse to use vikhrs against air targets. Radar warning is kinda meh, don't think it's worth sacrificing fidelity for it. I guess they need to justify charging for continuing supporting the shark and this was the best excuse. Would rather pay another "upgrade" than to have less fidelity. Been flying the shark since before DCS world came to be.

I came here to comment on this, it's unplayable, DCS is becoming a major headache to play with all the stuttering menus and flashing screens it's incredibly frustrating, not to mention the trembling clouds. Please ED show us some love.

I don't really see what the drama is all about, I play KA-50 even when I shouldn't, on multiplayer PVP servers, and yeah I occasionally eat an aim-120, however it also gives me an exhilarating sense of fear and sometimes I have the opportunity to fight back, last week an f-18 tried to gun me down and I successfully evaded him and we were in a cat and mouse fight for a while and I almost gunned him down, if I had iglas he would be done. Whenever I have an objective I always try and follow a route that leaves me concealed, like flying between buildings and such. It's a lot of fun IMO.

Can we have this fixed on su-27/33 too? Floodlights make it unbearable during night sorties.

I've been trying to squeeze every possible performance gain to play on multiplayer and now I've resigned with low textures because this way I can finally hold 45 frames on busy servers(with some drops in airfields). Now what bugs me is that while its fine to have the exterior low res why can't I have everything but the cockpit low res? This seems like such an easy fix, please ED give us more options so we don't have to resort to mods that break IC and change every patch. Shadows and textures are a huge performance cost we should be able to tinker them if we are to have a VR experience that doesn't look like a jag fest hideous looking.

I used to have stuttering before buying an SSD. I didn't believe it could make such a difference but it really did.

So it turns out it was the Kegetys Shader Mod in case someone has the same problem, when you change maps it crashes, not sure where to go from here.

Do we need to reapply this fix every update?

Yeah it got worse

Since about a month ago my DCS keeps crashing every other load, not sure if its related with buying the PG map but both DCS and steamVR are crashing non stop after failing to Load the maps/missions. Sometimes if I try loading different modules one after the other is guaranteed to crash. I'm with and an OG Odyssey and in open beta, and I delete shaders all the time but it doesn't seem to help.

Has this been fixed? With the free trials going I noticed that the su-27 doesn't snap its wings like the su-33 that I bought.

Did you clear DC's cache/fxo files?
