Install the Saitek drivers

Well, in FSX, you would press a button to ask to recieve/hand over controls, and the other player would have to press a button within a time limit to accept or refuse. I think that system worked really well.
-
Yeah, I realized this later. It would be totally epic with a Norway map for DCS.

Tromsø Norway map..? In this video, in the opening frames, you can see that it says Hakoya (Håkøya) and Hurtigruten Terminal. If you look at this link ( https://www.google.no/maps/place/H%C3%A5k%C3%B8ya,+Troms%C3%B8/@69.6542067,18.8674872,12z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x45c4c65d84fec00d:0xad9ef525f5fc0fac ) You will see that this is in Tromsø, Norway. Maybe a map under construction? :pilotfly: :EDIT: Suddenly realized that it looks like it's just being used as a placeholder/demonstrating map... Got my hopes up too early!

Multiplayer "Invalid Serial Number" when logging in
Torri replied to Torri's topic in DCS: Flaming Cliffs
Problem solved *EDIT* Sorry for not posting how I solved the problem. I had to use my fathers account to bind one of the FC3 keys to my account, using this page: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/personal/licensing/ Once again, sorry for not posting fix earlier. -
Hi, haven't played DCS since 1.2.4 now, but I decided to "pick it up" again.:pilotfly: I have bought all my modules myself (A-10C, UH-1, Ka-50, P-51D,) except the first module I got, which is FC3. This was bought on my fathers account, and I got one of the three product keys he bought. Previously, this has been no problem, but now that I try to play multiplayer, I get a message saying "Invalid serial number," everytime I try to login in multiplayer. Any ideas what to do..?:helpsmilie:

DCS 1.2.5 A-10A Bug So I tested the A-10A after I noticed a small 100MB patch. I launched the Quick Launch mission, and quickly got shot up by the tanks 50. cals. Now, here comes the strange part. After a few hits, I lost both my wings, and both engines were on fire. But I was still able to fly, just like if I had no damage. The engines worked fine as well. I think there's something fishy with the new AFM. I tried to save the track, but it got saved with a .5 extension, I have no idea what that is. Anyways, the track doesn't work

You can't create a new mission on the go as you're hosting a server. You need to have the mission ready, if that's what you're meaning.

Flying without TrackIR help me setup my mouse for freelook/zoom!

Press Alt+C in cockpit view to activate mouse view. But you are unable to press buttons in the cockpit then. -
Help needed with shooting guided missiles from Su-25T

Are you getting the LA (Launch Authorized) message on your HUD? You cannot fire if you're not getting that message. -
Saitek X52 pinky toggle clutch not working in game
Torri replied to Mattressi's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
You have to make sure that the Clutch button is set as an actual "Button" and not a Clutch Button + There is an option in the Saitek Control Panel that you have to make sure is set right. -
In the Saitek Profile Program, right click the Throttle Hat, and you will get several options, "Fall Back," "Unprogrammed," and "Buttons." Choose the "Buttons" option, (And 4-way, makes it easier) and now you can setup invidual commands for each direction. Hope you understood what I wrote here :music_whistling: As for the OP, I highly recommend that you make your own profile with the Saitek Profile Program. It can be a bit confusing in the start (I know it was for me,) but after a few tries, you get the hang of it pretty quickly. Once you know what to do, setting up profiles are simple as cake! :joystick:

Hi, my dad just bought A-10C for DCS: World. He already has the BS, UH1, and FC3 modules. When we try to install it, it says that the installer is in a earlier version than DCS: World, but we can't seem to find any newer versions. Are the installers not updated to the newest version?

Can anyone help with a X-52 question
Torri replied to GAJ52's topic in Controller Profiles and Problems
You have to do that in the Saitek software, otherwise DCS won't recognise it. -

I believe that is because the Predator has a turboprop engine, not sure though...

Mission Editor: how to deactivate group after landing?
Torri replied to 9.JG27 DavidRed's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
You can do so it deactivates after they are under a certain altitude, and then, to avoid that they despawn when they takeoff, you add a minimum amount of time of, let's say 2 minutes. -

FC3 Cant fire missiles in F-15... WHY????
Torri replied to HornetUK's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
The default button to fire missiles in the american aircraft is AltGr+Space. Also remember to hold this button down. The Space button will only fire missiles in Russian aircraft. In other words, you have to map your joystick to the 'Weapons release' command, not the 'Fire' command. -
You have to press RShift+L to start the electricity system.

You have to wait for the EGI/CDU to align until it reaches 4.0.0.8. Then you choose EGI as HUD mode (default is HARS,) and then you turn on the EAC.
