How can we make that information (we see in the video) that we see in the upper left corner visible in DCS ?

I have purchased one which I use with a 5800X3D 32 Gb RAM together with a HP Reverb G2 for VR. I can't fell otherwise than a little disappointed. The preset setting for VR in DCS felt like an insult to my system. When using the preset HIGH I got severe stutters when plane flying above me on the ground. What is the best settings ? Are there any descriptions for how the different settings affect performance ? And if GPU or CPU is mostly affected ? (info we got in XP) I noticed much better improvements in MSFS

I have noticed these things that I am not sure if they are normal The directional gyro and the magnetic compass does not agree. For example in the startup tutorial and I get the impression he suggests they should. My assigned buttons do not always work. For example the button to bring up the communication menu does not work in instant action missions. But no problem in the tutorials. Another example the water injection button does not work in the tutorials but in the instant action missions. When testing the magnetos after startup I see no drop att all in rpm. Is that normal ? Should there not be at least some slight drop in rpm ?

Not yet but I do have information. This is a tutorial and I don't make any changes in the plane except when I am told to. Gear always extends. Then when I move my assigned switch for the flaps I see the flap handle move as intended in the cockpit. Also see hydraulic pressure in the green. In both cases it helped with the hydraulic hand pump for some times.

The flaps fail to extend sometimes before landing and sometimes after. I could solve this by applying the manual hydraulic pump but I don't understand why I should have to. The hydraulic meter always shows the pressure in the green area.

That could have been the cause. My latest attempt to run that tutorial did work without these issues. I then made sure that manifold pressure and rpm was in the green area, actually the same as we are told to set it later in the tutorial

But it was not

In this tutorial after a while still being in active pause mode the plane starts to shake then the engine stops. What is wrong ?

Really using VR or 2D should not matter for this. And btw I use VR

But in my case it was significantly more than 85 seconds that the TACAN was inactive

I tried that and this time the distance was not stuck. But it seemed that the needle did not get active until after a while at which the distance got updated value. Si I turned to the right in order to intercept the localizer. When the beacon got active I could see that I rather should have turned to the left

In the third interactive tutorial I should navigate to a TACAN and I am told to watch out for distances to it. But my HSI always reads 53 miles so this tutorial is difficult to do. But the course deviation needle seem to work

I am referring to the flap indicator to the left of the airspeed mach indicator. It says up not auto. I thought that pressing F would set the thumb switch to auto

In one of the tutorials a dog fight with guns I am supposed to set flaps to auto. That does not work. I have both pressed F on the keyboard and assigned a controller button to it. This does not work. Why ?

In the interactive tutorial over AA DM mode I should fly until I get the plane on the radar. That happens but then after a very short time it disappear from the radar screen. It's very difficult to get it back. I change the radar elevation angle which I think should bring it back but that does often not happen

And during my last attempt it did just that. So this is how it is supposed to be

It's the second take off instant action mission supplied with the plane and nothing user made. This mission loads at the runway with the engines running

As soon as this scenario is loaded my engine quits. I need very many attempts to start the engine again but when done it remains running. What could be wrong here. I see no switches or levers incorrectly set.

But are we supposed to do that ? I would expect the car to move to the runway and then out of the runway.

I am unable to finish the first Cold start taxi take off tutorial. Reason is that after starting the engines I am supposed to follow an escort car. But that car sometimes stops before reaching the runway and sometimes stop on the runway blocking me from take off.

Yes the second voiced training tutorial (there are five). He says increase power to 2600 rpm during take off run. I agree that is to little

I see that in your take off you set RPM to max. But the take off tutorial says 2600 rpm. I feel that 2600 rpm is a little to weak like making it difficult to get airborne

In this tutorial I reach the point where I am lined up on the runway. Then nothing more happens. There are never any instructions on how to proceed with the take off.
