  1. I have tried the tutorial twice again and in both cases encountered the same problem. I couldn't see any double binding. And had that been the case should ii only be in the landing tutorial I had the problem ? Also I notice when the engine goes out and I increase the throttle I see the ATA dial goes up. In addition looking at the instrument and cockpit settings before and after I notice no change. No lever or button seem to have changed. I uploaded my track to onedrive and shared it. See if you can access it https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ao8G1zqCjqI5jCsvuAv6cCqFYpc5?e=Ram9cM
  2. I made a saved track but I can't upload it since it size exceeds the max allowable even if I zip it. I can say that I do have the propeller governor set to automatic and rpm never exceed 3000 rpm. I also tried the instant action landing and then the engine didn't stop
  3. Don't know about manual prop or using boost. Usually I think I decrease power before the engine dies. I follow the instructions in the interactive landing tutorial
  4. When doing the interactive landing tutorial I always fail because of one problem. That problem is that the engine dies. I hear the engine sound cease and it has no power. I don't see why this happens.
  5. Yes there can also be an analog assignment to the brakes. I had that value assigned to lever on my CH throttle quadrant. But that lever was set to max and during my flight the brakes was set to about 25 %.
  6. Yes I actually discovered a brake problem. I engage the brakes with a lever on my Hotas joystick which makes them go fully on. But showing the controls during flight I could see that my brakes were not fully of in spite of the brake lever not being pressed. Pressing and releasing the lever fully released the brakes. So this time I didn't tilt over but other things made it difficult. I was not able to stay on the runway but at least I didn't crash the plane.
  7. It was a while ago since I used it. But I remember being able to do all the tasks in the tutorials for the paid version. For the free version I actually think I had problem with the landing. When firing it up yesterday I was able to take of without problems after getting controls correctly set.
  8. I have tried to follow the instructions in interactive tutorials thus power 1.2 release brakes increase to about 1.35
  9. Confusing posts ? The take off assist has been 100 and 20 (now and also in the Spit otherwise take off is to difficult in that plane). Do you mean it should be 0 ? At any rate I now have been able to take off. I discovered one thing not being done correctly. The trim stabalizasor was supposed to be set so that a indicator showed one. During the taxi take off tutorial I pressed the wheel only once which triggered the tutorial to continue making me think it was correctly set. I have found that I need to click it several times in order to get a value 1 displayed
  10. I have already used the Mustang a lot. I have paid for the Spitfire and 109 and want to use them. I doubt that the Yak 52 would help me with landing the Spitfire or taking of in the 109. Another thing I have noticed. It is much easier to fly the A2A Spitfire in FSX compared to DCS
  11. Yes otherwise I should have noticed that things doesn't work as intended during the taxi take off tutorial
  12. Problem is that if I use brakes as much as I need then I don't gain enough speed. And sometimes the needed right brake seem to be more than brake possible.
  13. Yes I lock the tail wheel (FAST) according to instructions in the tutorial. Also full right rudder and it still wont. No matter how much I counteract left turning tendency I go off the runway to the left sooner or later.
  14. I got no impression of bouncing and I actually touches down and then roles some seconds on the runway stick fully back. Then suddenly tip over to the front. And in your video I think I see a slight bounce during landing.
  15. I always fail the take of because the plane steers to the left until leaving the runway. I try to counteract with right brake but it is insufficient and also seem to prevent me from reaching take of speed. What can I do here ?
  16. As far as I know they are never engaged
  17. With throttle since I was supposed to hold altitude. I know what the speed should be and have problems reaching. This is also true in all phases of the landing pattern. For example when entering the pattern I go way to fast. At downwind I am still to fast. If I reach correct speed lowering the gear makes me to slow.
  18. All my landings fails. I encounter these problems It's difficult to control the speed in the pattern. I either go to fast or to slow. If to fast and I try to correct that I end up to slow and if to slow the other way around. Actually during the landing tutorial I was told that speed was good just to soon discover that I crashed because I was going to slow. During touch down I crash since the the plane tilt over forward in spite of holding back the stick.
  19. But I mean that for turning left I need to use the right rudder pedal
  20. Are the tutorials of good quality ? I ask since I just bought the BF109 where I was told they had voiced tutorials. And yes they had voiced tutorials but the tutorials still seem very flawed
  21. New to the 109 I have tried the interactive voiced tutorials. I encounter many issues and strange things 1) It's impossible to start the engine by following the instructions. There are two circuit breakers that need to be pressed which are not mentioned in the tutorial. 2) Radio communication does not make sense. Sometimes it is not possible to contact the ground crew. For ATC we are told to set it to the triangle. But in the second tutorial it set to second position and ATC communication does work. If it is set to triangle it does not work. Often ATC does not answer. I have not been able to finish the second tutorial since the further instructions are not triggered
  22. When I do the second tutorial about take off and taxi I am told to use left brake to turn left and right brake to turn right. Well for me it works the opposite way. I need to press left break to turn right and right break to turn left. I have checked that my rudder pedal brakes are correctly set.
  23. And how should that axes setting be ?
  24. I would like to know if the training tutorials are voiced ?
  25. Regarding dogfight I have now also tried the last Spitfire tutorial that covers dogfight. Even that was very tricky since placing the sight dot is difficult. Controlling its placement is very tricky and jerky. How is the BF109 in this regard ?
