  1. I used LUA script editing to do mine. Kinda annoying that it doesn't sync properly with the route/decent mode switch set as the speed brake on my TM warthog though. Still, it's an easy fix (just hold the speed brake aft and when you release it, it will sync in game and on your throttle) You can only program it to send the 'route mode' command as a toggle command instead of specifying on or off. The decent mode is programmed to activate only when a button is held down and stop when it is released. I wish buttons could easily be set to operate this way from the in game options... Would make configuring toggle switches a breeze. I found this thread helped a lot and explained some of the shortcomings of LUA editing with the KA50. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89226
  2. I love mine except for two small issues. Slight play in the centre of the stick and a wobbly feeling China hat (quite a lot of resistance when pushed forward/aft and feels like it's going to break but it's held up for over 6 months of heavy use so it's obviously sturdier than it feels).
  3. I'm bumping this as a bug because I keep seeing it and it keeps annoying me!
  4. Flying online today against a buddy in the A-10A and he was near indestructible! I blew both his wings off and he kept on flying like nothing had happened even though he looked like a pile of burning scrap metal. For saying this has been released a a complete stand alone module for $15, it's pretty shoddy. This needs fixing ASAP.
  5. I think when this kind of technology takes off, it will definitely happen. I can't imagine anything more awesome than 360°, 3D, 6DOF, HD head tracking with a friend in the same Huey as the co-pilot :D Screw the keyboard. That's why we have a HOTAS and fully clickable cockpits. It's pretty easy to find a mouse with your eyes closed... Try it, you'll be surprised.
  6. 26 here... Same as Pyton and weirdly with the same Dutch F-16 as my profile picture. I have a feeling we'd get on!
  7. Yeah, I'm flying the Huey right now and see no problem.
  8. Happy to help
  9. That's pretty cool. Man... I love this module.
  10. I'll try the KA50 later. Track IR in the Huey is massively improved though.
  11. Seems a bit redundant to have an off AND a safe setting. I'm a stickler for realism though so no complaints from me!
  12. Is that how it is in the real world?...
  13. Confirmed here too.
  14. Don't know if it's a bug or if it's just not modelled but the slip indicator doesn't work. Stays centered no matter how much rudder you use.
  15. Weirdly, following suggestions in this forum I was finally able to solve the problem. I went into window USB controller manager and deleted all the deadzones. Went back onto DCS and the toe brakes now work perfectly! I tried everything else and gave up. This was the only fix that worked for me. Don't know why nobody mentioned it in the other forums...
  16. I just noticed that applying power on brakes causes the view and the angle of attack gauge to twitch around a bit... any one else confirm? Brakes on while standing on the runway then increase/decrease power and watch everything twitch!
  17. Yeah, I know the theory but in practice most of us have self centering pedals so trimming to the left causes a lack of rudder authority to the right and vice versa. At the moment I have to avoid trimming while applying rudder so I don't lose authority in the opposite direction.
  18. Thanks Cnuke and Aginor. I'll give the 'factory settings' fix a try when I get home! Shame about the trim on the A-10 but I'm sure it will get a quick fix as it's kinda essential. Especially now, with manual air to air refuelling!
  19. Agreed Brisse. Although I've been waiting for a tick box on the KA50 to unchain the rudder from the trimmer ever since the Huey was released, so I can't see it happening any time soon.
  20. Well, my saitek combat rudder toe brakes STILL don't work properly in DCS anyway... They 'stick' in the on position, even though they're fine on every other game I've tried and in windows controller manager. Tried all the fixes and reinstalled everything. Just had to use a 50% dead zone in the end. :(
  21. The easy way to tell if SAS is active or not is to do a few gentle turns and see if the ball on the slip indicator stays centered. You should really have to use the rudder in the A-10A... Makes sense if they left it out though to compensate for FC3 players not wanting too much of a learning curve though. Still, I was looking forward to doing some old school, seat of the pants stuff. Oh well.
  22. Are there independent wheel brakes and progressive air brakes now? I presume it's the A-10C flight model with the stability augmentation system removed?
  23. +1 Bought FC3 for a friend so we can fly hogs together. Him in the A model and me in the C! Never would have managed to get him to learn the A-10C...
  24. Bwahaha! Now, where's that Geoffrey chap... I bet his crossbow can't take down THIS hog!
