  1. I'd recommend going for a dual install (1.2.6 and 1.2.5) and playing them back to back. I really hope you will see and understand the problem we are all trying to explain. It's been a long and frustating road for many of us.
  2. That's MAXIMUM drop. Usually it is barely noticeable. In the Cessna I fly in real life it is quite noticeable however.
  3. Awesome... I love the detail in this thing. Yo-yo, please never leave ED!
  4. Why not just fly on 'emergency rich'?
  5. Excellent description, this is exactly what I'm seeing.
  6. No, still having exactly the same issue in windowed mode. Just to clarify, I'm running DCS with 8GB ram from an SSD as well and it's not a hardware issue as the problem wasn't there in 1.2.5 or before. I also reverted back to 1.2.5 and didn't have the problem. Like others have said, I think everyone probably has it to some extent and hasn't noticed. The game is playable, but to me the experience is vastly inferior to 1.2.5. Some people might not see it as much of an issue, but I value smoothness as a priority and I can definitely see it.
  7. What do you mean "turn off the auto pitch"?
  8. Fullscreen mode, v-sync in game is off, Aero theme is on. GTX 560Ti 50 fps (1440x900) I have this issue on all FC3 aircraft, P-51, A-10C, BS2 and Huey. I do not have combined arms or or the Mi-8 and do not fly the SU25T. I say again - issue not present in 1.2.5 or previous versions. No amount of graphics, vsync or lua tweaking has solved the problem for me. I have experimented with different drivers/settings etc to no avail. As far as I am concerned the problem lies with DCS.
  9. The issue is everything outside the cockpit suffers from screen tearing/stutter but only WHILE moving your head in game. Head not moving - No stutter. Something changed to cause this in 1.2.6 and it needs changing back. We shouldn't have to fix this ourselves (although many of us have tried and failed). 9000 views and the attitude of the testers is still "I don't have this problem, you must be doing something wrong - try this?" How about just admitting that it IS problem and reporting it? Adaptive Vsync, application controlled Vsync, maxfps value - all of these things make no difference. The issue is only occurring during head movement. It is most apparent when looking at a fixed point on the horizon and performing aileron rolls. The horizon jumps/stutters/tears. This was introduced in 1.2.6 and it IS a bug and it NEEDS fixing.
  10. This really needs sorting out ASAP
  11. DCS keeps getting bigger and better but the Viper is one of the most popular and common western combat aircraft and it's still rocking that ugly ass 3D model! I've given up hoping for a "DCS F-16" module but it would be nice to see AI ones looking pretty at least. Actually... Who am I kidding. I'm still hoping a 3rd party will pick up the Viper torch if ED won't.
  12. You're on it...
  13. Confirmed. Left clicking both rotaries for me causes them to freeze.
  14. Confirmed still present in 1.2.6 update 2. Very annoying...
  15. It's roughly the same size as the original theatre that came with BS1 so I'm not complaining too much. Would have liked to have seen something bigger but I'm more excited about the new engine and the possibly of 3rd party maps with the SDK. Maybe they'll expand it to include the rest of the world for DCS F/A-18C ;)
  16. Mine too. Not too impressed with how wobbly the china hat is either but it's held up for a while so must be sturdier than it feels
  17. Just imagine buzzing the hard deck in a hornet over Nevada and glancing over your shoulder as you zip past a 2 ship of A-10's... WE NEED THIS!
  18. All of these are for the A-10C: - ILS fixed -TACAN fixed -Radios fixed -AAR fixed These all worked prior to 1.2.6 (ILS was slightly broken, but less so) and I'd like to see them working again before anything else is added!
  19. Georgia and Nevada maps combined? Would this be possible? Nevada and Georgia separated by a few hundred miles of water? I know it's not exactly realistic but it would make tankers actaully useful and make missions with training ranges in Nevada and 'real' combat in Georgia possible. Imagine being able to fly training sorties then travel over the ocean, refueling as you go, before dropping a few bombs in Georgia and flying home again. Throw in a few carriers and naval ops and this would be incredible
  20. I don't think the 0.8 figure is miles... I remember reading somewhere that it signifies precision but I don't think it's a distance measurement.
  21. The thing I hate about Flaming cliffs modules is that each button only does one thing. In real jets, buttons like TMS and DMS are incredibly useful because they have completely different functions depending on the master mode. Instead of pressing a ton of keyboard commands, you just flip the master mode switch and have a bunch of different, useful functions at your fingertips. This actually makes them much easily to fly and operate effectively in a variety of mode dependant roles.
  22. Anyone confirm if this was fixed in the latest patch? I haven't updated yet...
  23. The A-10C's radios and TACAN fixed. That's my main wish right now. Oh, and fix the Tanker disconnect bug while you're at it. Fix everything that's broken before adding anything else.
  24. Awesome info paulrkiii. Wish ED would realise you know what you're talking about and fix it in DCS!
  25. Yeah, there is an accumulator but as snoopy said...
