Ok, I guess I understand,what confused me was that when watching the ReconStewart video, he called 'MOONBEAM 2-1' direct without escorting CHEVY and I did the same and it worked, but I really wanted to know if this was really what I was supposed to do,i.e. call direct JTAC or escort Chevy first, or both at the same time, so I asked. OK, as I said I had a successful mission but since I didn´t escort CHEVY I wanted to make sure what would be the right thing to do,but I guess I got it now. Thanks again :thumbup:

Thanks Sabre,but I insist: After arriving IP ADDER (after destroyed the Radar vehicles). WHAT do I have to do ? Follow the CHEVY ? , Contact JTAC (Moonbeam21) ?? "In mission you can view the mission log before you exit." But where´s the mission log located (It´s like a "txt file")? Tks

Hello, When I performed this mission I destroy the Radar vehicles & mission lanchers,etc then I went to IP ADDER (as instructed) and start a holding over ADDER, called Moonbeam21 received an AAA target and destroyed it. Then Moonbeam21 gave me another target (SAM moving SE) I destroyed then I went back to ADDER IP, holding again and tried to contact Uzi 124.0, no response,several times.. then after a while the Examiner said: Playtime over,time to EGRESS.Ok,after shutdown the bird, "Unqualified you did poorly,etc" Ok, I started again and I DID exactly the same thing as described above, GUESS WHAT? After shutdown: "You made it,you passed this PO".:shocking: WHAT?? Please !! Just tell me, Sabre or any good soul, WHAT do I have to do in this mission? I watched Recon video and he didn´t escort CHEVY flight either (like myself),so PLEASE... , After arriving IP ADDER for the first time WHAT do I have to do? Follow the CHEVY, OR Contact JTAc (Moonbeam21)? I passed this PO but I still don´t know... Thank you so much for any input, Rgds. Hamilton PS. By the way,where´s the mission log located?

Solved !!! Had some crashes using DCS v.1.5.8.12823.414 and I reverted back to DCS 1.5.7.11762 ,guess what, the joystick problem didn't appear again. Don't ask me how :) but the problem did not appear for more than a week. The worst part is that I´m about to receive other since there´s no place to repair TM Hotas here.

Exactly! After this 1.58 update only crashes and I´ve never had this problem before... My solution was switch back to 1.56 version, no crashes at all.

Hello all, I was flying a quick mission and I could observe how this module is still unrealistic in some points. In this situation I was descending and curving at 400 kts and the MI-28N instantly destroyed me with its Shipunov 2A42. I was in the Military for 7 years and I know how difficult is to hit a fast target so much as not to say to hit a small and lean F-5 descending and curving at 400 kts and I repeat: instantly kill in 1sec. Not to mention that no broken wings,tail destroyed,nothing just a complete damage and I´m dead in 1 sec. I tried this mission for 3 times and the result was the same... What a difference from the excellent damage effects in A-10C..

Of course a Mav would be good,but I would be more satisfied if they fix the bugs and the FD and get a F-5E with aerial refueling hoses. :thumbup:

Certanly that "up or down" is not realistic,I´m flying for 37 years and I´ve never seen a jet with that Belsimtek F-5E behavior.(Just check the VSI(Vert Speed Indicaton),not natural) I was in the military for 7 years but it was a looong time ago but I also have a friend that flew F-5 a lot (Brazilian Air Force) and I use to talk about this issue,but I want him to test here in my place. If I achieve this goal (bring him here) I will post it, even though I don´t believe that Belsimtek will change anything in this direction.

I understand,but I didn´t use that much past 3 years and I remember my old gameport joystick that I used with FA-18, TopGun Fire at Will, F-22 for thousands hours and still works... Yes and in my country those TM Warthog Hotas are extremely expensive... :cry:

Thanks awjudge,I did the test that you suggested in Game Controller Properties (Windows) and I observed that just for a micro sec all sws (buttons) blinked,but I tried several times later and it didn´t blink again. About rename my 'Inputs' folder,I had already delete the entire \Saved Games\DCS & DCS.openalpha but the problem persisted,the strangest thing is that I have not noticed the problem in other games. Maybe is what Warhog said above (about a loose wire). :(
