  1. Sorry dude. The issue will persist if you keep a non supported controller plugged in when running DCS. Easiest fix for all you non-bug bug reports you have ever posted.
  2. Absolute BS! AN/ALR-67 (In the Harrier) nor the AN/APG-73 in most other NATO planes in DCS do no such thing. . It is completely irrelevant even if in 2021 the military has installed a system to identify and triangulate non NATO military IFF. Why? because none of these systems are in any plane we currently have in DCS. But I seriously doubt this is the case, so the ball is in YOUR court, to PROVE it exists, not just by your "hunch". Provide the RWR model that does what Daniel is asking about. What NATO RWR identifies and traingulates non-nato IFF interrogations. This is nothing more than a wish list of imaginary systems.
  3. Why not? The N could be the default screen just prior to BIT. If BIT doesn't run, N indicates complete failure.
  4. Still has nothing to do with RWR picking up anything other than radar. It does not pick up IFF interrogation. Fighter/attack jets do not monitor freqs to monitor radio emission from hostiles. That falls under Electronic warfare.
  5. Since you ignored ED and RAZBAM about posting external files, can't see your track, but IF the RWR or any system with a Built-In Test is so severally damaged that the BIT can't even start then you would not see the B.
  6. And it's been answered here and other forum threads and on discord. RWR ONLY picks up specific RADAR signals . It does not receive not display mode C nor ADF no ILS radio signals. Do other systems (AWACS or EWR) pick up IFF from non friendly planes. Unknown, and even if it possibly could, it would be highly classified, so much so only certain military personnel would be aware and none would confirm that here.
  7. Not how logic works. YOU made the claim then YOU have the burden of proof to show that RWR detects IFF. You keep going with this idea and it's going nowhere. There is no documentation that you can provide to back up your claim that a simple RWR in a NATO vehicle can identify any IFF signal.
  8. You've been told several times. RWR does not detect IFF.
  9. NATO RWR cannot detect nor triangulate IFF signals.
  10. IFF and radar are two completely different systems. RWR does not detect IFF transmissions of any kind.
  11. ok sorry, I did see the bandits in the video. You are using AI and yes a saw almost all hit. unfortunately AI "cheats" , and have been since the beginning. You need to redo the track with a human player , I doubt you will get the same results. Either way you have to provide the proof that the 9x is bugged.
  12. AWACS from altitude see everything on the runway, whether engine running or not. The E3 was very capable in both Airborne Early Warning and Control (AWACS) and Airborne Ground Surveillance (AGS).
  13. Where's your documentation to prove that the flares from the Harrier version we have in game should spoof the 9x FPA seeker in your scenario? Where was the bandit who fired? What aspect ration?
  14. Sorry Danierl, but you are wrong. DCS does NOT required a 480GB SSD, not even close. DCS will all maps and modules, won't even fill a 250GB SSD. I think they definitely should change the recommended to a dedicated 250GB SSD. Creating a symbolic link is a single cmd command. If you don't know how, just ask. Besides you've been around for a while now, you knew DCS was growing, I don't understand why all of a sudden you are having an issue. I am guessing you ED installed on your OS SSD??
  15. Daniel, you just need to create a symbolic link for the _downloads folder to your other slower drive. Also, tis patch does not require even close to 480GB, not sure where you got that from.
  16. ya your mod is conflicting, pretty easy fix for you
  17. This isn't an MI-8 bug. You already posted this in 2.5 and were told it is not a bug. DCS allows more combinations of input controller than any other game/sim, other than MS flight sim, but you should not start the game with unbound controllers plugged as this can cause issues and more so when using a low budget controller that doesn't even proper drivers for it, instead using generic drivers. Make yourself a checklist that you need to follow before starting DCS.
  18. Yup, he's been told over and over this is not a bug. If you get damaged beyond repair, you lose a life, you no longer are visible on map and you should NOT be able to communicate. This could lead to some very nasty exploits on MP servers if it were allowed to happen.
  19. Yes old (a few years old). known, reported and acknowledged DCS bug.
  20. So the takeaway here is that all smart weapons on the hog rely on a SPI (from any sensor) for targeting (well except for mavs technically), which can be created from a steerpoint, the TGP , TAD, HUD HMCS or even a Mav sensor.
  21. If you have the coordinates you can enter a new steer point, and make spi.
