  1. So the takeaway here is that all smart weapons on the hog rely on a SPI (from any sensor) for targeting (well except for mavs technically), which can be created from a steerpoint, the TGP , TAD, HUD HMCS or even a Mav sensor.
  2. If you have the coordinates you can enter a new steer point, and make spi.
  3. I might be mistaken, but I think English is the only language to be used at any ICAO airport/airstrip around the world.
  4. Check your curves and deadzones. Do a search for your specific joystick to compare. There is no right or wrong answer it will come down to specific individual preference
  5. Cause it happens all the time. It usually happens during an update and you’ve got The wrong controller plugged in , it can mess up a ton of bindings. You are better off unplugging all non DCS controllers before starting it. What do you do when you run unity engine games? They will notoriously cause problems with the wrong controller plugged in.
  6. He refuses to unplug his unrecognized controller which is using a generic driver because the manufacturer do not provide one. One day, he will be posting a bug report about how is entire config library is corrupt.
  7. You cannot ask ED to ignore all gamepads because YOU forgot to unplug yours. That's insanity!!! Also ED didn't detect anything. Windows detects USB peripherals. Your gamepad is of lower quality that uses generic drivers. There is nothing ED can do. just unplug it. Remember what I said, everytime you start DCS with unrecognized device you run the risk of corrupting your config files.
  8. +! The APKWS absolutely requires some updates to software and pylons. Also the APKWS will only fit on a Mk66 motor.
  9. Take everything he says with a grain of salt. He also claimed to be in possession of a Tor operator manual. There is NO WAY a BAE or any other arms manufacturer would have given him ANY of that information to a private citizen without facing serious charges under ITAR.
  10. By the way everytime you have an unrecognized controller plugged in when you run DCS you run the risk of completely corrupting the controller/config files. Just unplug any controller not used in DCS, it’s just not worth it!
  11. You have already been told they ate not going to fix something that they cannot fix. This is 10000% an issue with the gamepad developer. There is nothing for ED to fix. You need to make yourself a checklist before you start DCS to ensure every is plugged in and any hW that is not need is unplugged. If I fly sp in A10 i have to do the following Start Track IR Start joytokey Start dynamic campaign Start icontrol server Start icontrol client on ipda Unplug game pad Unplug wheel and pedals Plug in WH throttle and joystick Plug in pedals Start CH pedal software And only then can i start DCS If i forget to do any of the above, it will mess up the game and I’ll have to restart .
  12. Don’t have this ezmode module, but are you on a moving carrier by anychance?
  13. As stated this is a major MP desynch issue. Seems to be getting progressively worse. They have been aware of this for a while.
  14. Over 1 second will register as long press. But from what you are describing is telling me you seem to be doing something wrong in setting up the SPI. On the lower left of the HUD you will see what is generating SPI. If you want the TGP to create the SPI you need to make it SOI then TMS FWD long.
  15. The Tiger uses Hydra rockets in its arsenal, therefore the conversion is simple. The conversion is only able to be done with mk60 motor rockets. It cannot be used with any other rocket.
  16. Not entirely true. Only aircraft that can currently use hydra rockets can be converted to APQKWS. Not just “any standard 2.75” FFAR” That would mean 101 does not have such capabilities.
  17. Why didn’t you unplug the unused generic driver gamepad? No offense Daniel but this is all on you because you forget to unplug something. ED is NOT going to be able to help you.
  18. It was never used on the A10 of any version. This debate is dead OP got his answer.
  19. That’s what I said. The F18 is the only module (that I know of) that turns off different systems depending on the year chosen. Systems are era dependent and most importantly they are not replaced with an earlier version, they are either turned off or on completely based on the year chosen.
  20. Just a hunch, but guessing if you select a year prior to the release year of the F18 block we have in game, some systems won’t work (INS for example). Ive tried some use made missions/ campaigns for the hornet that were dated earlier (80s)which caused issues with several systems. So changing the date will restore all systems
  21. There's a way to skip missions as well, by editing logbook.lua and changing the mission stage as well as the mission miz file name to the next mission.
  22. Replay has not worked well in DCS since actually the LOMAC days. I doubt we will see it fixed anytime soon.
  23. I guess we would need a trackfile to really see what's going on. I am guessing one of a few things is happening -SPI, it's set by sensor other than the TGP -keybindings, weapon release key might messed up -not holding weapon release long enough or outside release cue parameters Need much more info from you, a track would help to find the answer right away
  24. What start up checklist are you using? Because it sounds like you are missing some steps. Are you turning on IFCC? Is CDU on NAV? Did you set nav mode to EGI on the selector?
  25. So that is your job Daniel. Before you join a slot, unplug your unused, conflicted gamepad. That is your challenge for the next few weeks!
