  1. Same for me. :(
  2. Give it to me. GOOD GOD.
  3. Yes, I've noticed this as well, but I understood this was a case of my wingman having a superior RWR. He always gets spiked before I do.
  4. THANK YOU, COBRA AND LN!
  5. Waiting patiently.:)
  6. Thank you, guys!
  7. meh. Who carez? JUST KIDDING. OMFG. WOOOOOOOOT!
  8. I stand corrected.
  9. This is an enormous logical leap, don't you think? They've said they've been working on the 18 for a very long time. Whenever people complain that the F/A-18 is being back-burnered in favor of, say, WWII birds (don't count me among their numbers), the response is usually that ED can walk and chew gum at the same time, and that we don't really have any inkling about how things are prioritized internally. (I agree with this assessment.) Nowhere in the update does it say that ED is currently working on a map for the Hornet module. Wags said that and other additional assets need to be created. I'm just saying, this kind of speculation has gotten us into trouble before. Based on the supplied screens and the additional assets that need to be created (carrier, carrier ops, new map), do we all think it's likely we're going to see this before May? Really?
  10. I'm sorry, how are you guys arriving at this conclusion? Did I miss something?

    DCS: EDGE

    Wow, holy zombie thread!
  12. Don't try to go up into the vertical with him. Just make the turn, and when he descends, start the dive with him. If you maintain your speed, you can catch him that way.
  13. Dammit, stuck at the bar (work). Let's hope it's slow so I can get outta here early. Who needs money?
  14. WARNING: Wild Speculation: Think this might be the reason the 21 is not released until EDGE is ready? I.e., hinted at "improvements"? EDIT: Sniped by Cobra. Too bad.
  15. This thread started out so nicely. Well, at least I got some laffs. At this point I'd like to reiterate how much I appreciate ED's willingness to fix the RRG fiasco. I also think it's worth pointing out that most of the agitation and noise is coming from a very vocal, very small minority. This thread should serve as an object lesson in (ir)responsible posting and how easy it is to poison the well. Big ups to sIth for not losing his marbles.
  16. I Love ED/Wags/SiTh
  17. I tried to make this point yesterday, about a zillion pages ago now, and it didn't make an impression on anyone. So I'm just gonna quote you because I'm too lazy to reword it and it would be gauche to quote myself. LOLSIES
  18. This seems like a perfectly reasonable solution, and I'm grateful for it. No one, of course, is thrilled to be getting less than they were expecting, but we could be getting nothing. For those who are moaning about how you're getting screwed out of what you were "promised": You invested in a start-up. Investments inherently involve risk--by definition. RRG is gone, and so is your money. RRG spent it on development which they did not finish. Get over it. ED is a separate entity, and they owe you NOTHING. Instead of griping, buck up and get your mind around the fact that ED is gifting you free modules and more on the cheap. As my saintly grandma used to say: It's better than a handful of sh*t. I don't think so.
  19. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA:lol: I just spit my coffee all over my monitor.
  20. Thanks for the update. Don't let the naysayers get'cha down!
  21. I am generally loathe to moan about a lack of updates, but I have to agree. I'm a backer, and one of the reasons I did so was for the promised unparalleled access to development we were supposed to get. This silence is deafening.
