O.T. Nothing personal, don't worry, but speaking between 109 lovers, as you say, it sounds a bit strange to me. Personally i've given it up because DCS K4 DB sound, and i've begun to feel like there was not a real ED interest in the K4 module (and WW2 may be) if not just to recover.......what we know. Beying a 109 lover myself too, i have always considered the "whistling" DB sound as the most important feature of the 109 itself. There's not 109 without a whistling compressor sound, at least for me. I've reinstalled it, just only because of the great Stuka's sound mod (2.0). Now we know that probably we'll not see the 3D model updated too.... I'm not happy really. This speaking between 109 lovers, sorry for the OT. 109 and DCS....we need more than this K4 module. Really i'm not satisfied, not this time.
-
If you are happy with the default DB sound, sorry dude, but you are not credible anymore, really. If you say that you are a 109 lover, you should have to be the first one to complain about DB sound, that's just unspeakable. We did talk about DB sound problem a lot of time ago, sorry but we can't give up this time too. This 109 is not in the standard DCS quality level, only the price is. Thank Stuka if some people is still buying this K4 module.

Modellers does not work on this stuff, you should know it. A lot of people is really interested in DCS WW2, even if does not read this forum. So this is what we'll answer them about K4, yes..."dark side pilots off course: - DB sound: the worst ever but Stuka here did an amazing job, so...we can live with this; - 3D model: the worst ever in DCS planeset; - DM.....some news here, at least, would be good. Actually, DM is missed as for the other WW2 models, so np here. We'll answer also that ultra detailed models of WW2 assets actually are more important than K4, and that we just need to wait, may be, some more years to have a K4 model with the same level of DCS Spitfire. Not very good news for dark side pilots, not at all. We don't have understood at that time the importance of a good DB sound for a 109 module, and we don't get the same now for 3D model. ...so, sorry to say this, but this is a very low quality 109 module for DCS standard. Nothing more to say about it.
-
If you give this kinde of answer, is not more an OT, but probaly an answer also for the 3D problem. I don't know if you are really interested in WW2, i don't think so, but an answer like this about DB, believe me, is not really acceptable like the low quality of this K4 module....low quality for DCS standard off course. Normandy is close to be released, and we are talking about Messerschimitt. This is more than an high priority.
-
So, for you, this is acceptable for DCS standard? Just to know. I'm not talking about Daimler Benz sound that's is a dead horse, but at least, here, we have some very good mods.
-
Don't get me wrong, cockpit is good enough but before the final release, would be possible have some more polycount for the cockpit "frontal circles" as for the air intakes, just to make it more rounded? We are excited for AV8B but please don't forget completely about our Mirage.
-
It does look great. I know that this is probably asking too much...but...any chance for some European / NATO love? For ex., the our newest carrier Cavour? ...and FREMM frigate?
-
We buy Normandy first of all to fly aircrafts not to drive tanks. I 100% agree about K4 polycount. It's not so bad, but it could have been much better as for the DB sound. Definitely DCS Messerschmitt would deserve some more love. Please provide the same quality standard.

Yes, definitely a very good video. M-2000C FM is almost perfect i think, but i agree there's still somenthing strange. I can confirm this myself too:
-
Sì, direi di sì! Sei passato ai tubi da stufa definitivamente alla fine. Sono Veltro del 150GCT.:smilewink: Bello il Mirage ma questo AV8B promette davvero bene, concordo!

A good "special" skin: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/it/3/3b/Stemma_GRUPAER.jpg

New cockpit does look much better now, more rounded than before! This AV8 is really promising, i'm definitely in. Italian Navy promo.
-
Would be nice have a list of "what's is needed" to considere it almost completed for release, 3D included and sound included. For ex. - Skin bug - Some lights and cockpit illumination - HUD illumination - canopy plexiglass effect - MFD functions (?) - ecc. ecc.

One question what is the fidelity of M2KC flight model?
Conroy replied to DaveRindner's topic in M-2000
It's worth the money, 100% but delta wings need some more skill. Be carefull. Great module, love it. -
Some questions about this incredible DCS WW2.

Some questions about this incredible DCS WW2.
Conroy replied to Conroy's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
This statement would deserve some more attentions considering the last map template update by Wags (Calais ecc. ecc.). Do you think that a "green map" with only Normandy detailed would be Ok? Really? I think something is drastically changed in DCS WW2, positively i mean, so my question. -
Everything does look superb.....nothing to say about it if not that's really an amazing map. Fantastic. But.... 1) We don't have news about DM since December, first of all for B-17 AI. All this incredible beauty would be neutralized if we'll have the same DM we have now in DCS for the bombers (B-52 ecc. ecc.); 2) Again, what about new DM for P-51D, BF-109K4, FW-190D-9, Spitfire Mk.IX? We'll have some chances to test the new map, with the new DM? 3) Would be nice to have also some feedback about England and Calais area ecc. ecc.. We know that only Normandy area will be detailed at the beginning but this is not acceptable off course, not anymore. So, could we have some confirmations that in the next future we could have all the map area with the same incredible details we have seen in these days, England included? 4) Weather and new clouds. Could we have some more info about weather considering that in the Channel as for Normandy, this feature it's a sort of "must to have" to provide the real immersion that this theater does deserve? 5) It woul be great if we could have finally a rain effect on the cockpit, just to improve the immersion to be in the Normandy/Channel theater; 6) What about P-47D? Any news? 7) What do you think about modules like FW-190A/F/G just to provide a jabo for the Lutfwaffe considering how incredibly detailed is this map at low altitude? The same for Tempest ecc. ecc. but FW-190 seem to be really missed "must to have" here.
-
What aircraft are you going to be flying in normandy and why ?
Conroy replied to silenteye's topic in DCS: Normandy 1944
K4 for me even if i would have preferred a G10. Why K4? Because it is a Messerschmitt, and because we still don't have a FW-190 (Dora is somenthing different from a "classic" FW). -
Considering how Normandy is detailed at low altitude, really amazing, we could accept only an F/G if a FW-190s module is too much expensive for the budget.
-
Yes, absolutely different FM.
-
Before to move on somenthing different from a fight-bomber, i think we need at least as DCS official release for Normandy: FW-190A/F Tempest V P-38J ..and off course the incoming P-47. This is the minimum, as for a G-10.
-
Yes, an A8/F8 module would be perfect.
-
Really we can't wait for this Normandy but a Jabo for the Luftwaffe is absolutely needed i think. We'll have a chance to have it in a reasonable time? P-47 will be a superb addition aswell of course.
-
It does look great, well done guys.
-
Possibility of other 109 Models as an addon?
Conroy replied to IronJockel's topic in DCS Core Wish List
G10 first of all, an Erla for ex., just to have a different 3D. We need absolutely an MG151/20.
