  3. Hi guys I'm still trying to learn this beast, hoewever I must do something wrong sometimes with my rampstart. I can't engage post combustion, and sometimes my engines flameout after take-off. Can it be that I forget a switch? btw I noticed a bug in multi, as soon as I engage the battery swich, the server starts to lag. Does anyone have the same issue ?

    flood light

    After looking at the manual, we should have two knobs for the flood light, one white and one red. However I found only the red one, and by turning it, nothing happen. What did I miss ? :helpsmilie:

  9. thanks By the way, what is the marging between the needed thrust power (calculated with small security marging I assume) for take off and the under limit just on the edge of stall during take off?

  11. Hi guys After watching a mayday episode, I found out that pilot don't push the throttle at max or military max power for take off, but rather calculate a certain EPR value. I was wondering why it was the case for such critical phase for an airplane. Sure the first obvious reason would be fuel consumption, but why not reduce the throttle once a certain secure airspeed and altitude is reached? Can somebody explain this?

  17. I wonder if they reworked the air physic aswell. I mean by that ir does not have the same density everywhere, you got small pocket of lower of higher dense air creating turbulance, and so is the wind. And what about turbulance created by other aircraft?

  22. Yes, I was talking about SAM in general. If I recall correctly, in reality they are not able to fire/track under a certain level, and it is not yet implemented in DCS.   23. after edge, I really hope ED will start on ground unit IA and realistic radar detection. I'm so tired about getting shoot at while flying at 10 AGL
