There is a difference between supporting dx11 and having it as minimum requirement A small confirmation by sithspawn would be great if he is allowed to tell :music_whistling:

I am currently using a Radeon 4870 , it supports dx 10 but not 11. Anyway I will have to buy a rig, I just had hoped that there would be some spec published about EDGE by now, at least what is not anymore supported, like dx10 or 9

I am afraid of that, but that seems also normal IMO . I must be the only one playing DCS with an 7 years old rig :D

I honestly think the map should be free, even if its a lot of work and cost the company. But they should share the costs on the planes modules. Would you honestly buy a normandy map if you don't have any WW2 birds. Or go on NTTR just if you have a WW2 plane ?

Exactly, saying that the tools are too complex is just an insult to the modding community and a big slap to the customer's face. If they want to keep the tools for themselve, I am perfectly ok with that; but lying to your customer is disrespectfull, like EA did. About the map, if someone wants to sell it, of course ED should check for a certain level of quality, they put themselve a bit at risk when doing so. But they should encourage the community to get involved, like for ARMA, so the sim would get always more exposure and the product life would be extended

Hi guys I am getting a bit confused by all the different SAU modes and when to Use it. So we have directional , automatic, stabilize and recovery. I read the manual but I am still confused about the first third ones Lets say I am 100Km from my Airbase over the clouds: I first set RSBN and PMGR station channel, set the course, set the switch to cloud penetration. Which SAU mode should I engage so that the autopilot get the right sink rate? Or Do I have to use directional and adjust myself the stick? Under the clouds, I then set the switch in middle position, which SAU mod will enable me change my position If I went off-course? What is the difference between directional and stabilize exactly? Once the PMRG signal is acquired and G , K flags are not red anymore , I can activate SAU auto for AP approach , disconnecting a few hundreds meter before the Runway threshold. Thanks :pilotfly:

Hi guys I am training a lot on the AG capabilities with all the different bombs and rockets. But it seems I am having a hard time with a columns of mixed soft and hard targets.:( First of all I start my descend always above 4000m with a sinkrate of 20° or more. I always end up having finally the piper appearing on my HUD when I am too close to the ground. I can still evade in a safe 2-3G pull, but I end up beeing way too close to the enemy and under fire.:joystick: Is there an accurate way to deliver bombs at a safe distance?:helpsmilie: Can we use the radar to setup the CCIP at a bigger distance ? I tried also a mix of Fab , cluster bombs and rockets, but I got the feeling that the blast is not strong enough, even against soft target while the bombs hit 2 meter away. Does anyone have the same feeling? I see the AI having the same difficulties. I noticed also that for rockets, the pipper aims a bit higher than the real impact point. BTW , it seems we have different version of the aircraft, one with a normal ASP , and an other one with a branch like on the SU25, how can I tell the difference in the mission editor ? thanks a lot :cheer3nc:

I think they did the same kind of promise for funding the F-35 :music_whistling: Nah I am just kidding, I am sure ED is putting a lot of effort for polishing EDGE to a alpha playable state :pilotfly:

So guys, I am not really sure that those tomcat would have a refuelling probe. I read somewhere that they were removed after the first Gulf war, but I don't know on which variants So Will we get it anyway ?
