Well I hope so mate. I mean Im ok running lomac with 4AA 16AF @1680x1050 with textures at HIGH and most things high to medium. and the fps is OK until I fly over a town or a city, then some annoying stutters just ruin the experiance :( I'll post my results once the gear arrives, which hopefully will be in 2 days or so. Edit- My order shipped today :) So I might even post some results tomorrow night :)

Well I just placed an order for an e6300 which I plan to OC to the 3ghz mark which should be easy. Also a x1900xtx and a 2gb 5300 Patriot kit. To this day I had a 2.4C P4 OCed to 3.4 and an 850xt I would figure that I should be able to absolutly max out LOMAC now? Anyone with a similar setup that can confrim this? If LOMAC still wont be dad smooth with the new setup Ill be sad :(

These where test pilots of the grade that only the cold war could produce and you can count these guys on your fingers. The crew might have had only 20 hours flight that year, but they had thousands under their belt. ;) Those where the guys from the Ukrainian Falcons, and they were a top display team ;) Anyway, good thing that the last 2 years the Ukranian AF pilots have been going in the air on regular basis.

Intersting, because what I read was that the 29 took out the F18, F16 and F15 in their simulated dog fights. Being superior with its look and lock and agility.
-
Hold on, but didnt the Luftwaffe Mig-29s out fly and kill everything the Americans through at it in WVR? So if the F22 is "EVEN better" then the F16, maybe it puts in on the level of the mig in the agility dept.

Great post! I agree completly.

Eurofighter Typhoon: Nothing Comes Close.

How much Russian military hardware is there really? Very little. You mean to say "Soviet Era" military hardware. Russia has been independent for 15 years. Not trying to start a fight for anything. I just hate when anything soviet is called russian. Many republics took part in the development of Soviet technology. -

The start of a revolution for LOMAC??
Ukr_Alex replied to Pilotasso's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Well full scale modability triggers a sh*te load of crappy addons. That is the case with the race sim community. Which I hail from. Usualy from a 100 mods only 5 are worthy of attention...Because everyone who has 3dsmax wants to release an addon. Hopefuly the day lomac is mod friendly the community will have little tolerence for junk. Sorry to come across as harsh...but I used to spent days downloading 100s of mods picking the best ones only to spend more time installing mods then playing...These days Id rather pay for a solid product then spend a sunday downloading mods only to keep 1. -
Steve Irwin died today..

This is sad. I actually feel sad for once about some TV or "celeb" passing away. This is up there with the time when Richard Burns died... May he RIP. -
:megalol: I give up. Your a lost cause. So we have your batch of F22s and 1000 Su-27s. It takes out the first 100 BVR and by then the other 900 are WVR. And it still dont mater right? Riight.......... :joystick: :pilotfly: Why cant you just accept the F22 for what it is? A stellar Air Superiority fighter. That can do what maybe what 5xF15s can do but solo...just for examples sake. Why create this LSD type of cloudy illusion that its the arm of God all mighty in the the air we fly in. P.S. And I am done with this argument. Things couldnt be more clear. Take what you want from it, or fanaticly believe what you wish.

You silly you know the Raptor will just take em all out "later" After it manages to re-arm, re-refuel, grab a big mac and read the latest issue of Penthouse. :P It can do Mach 10 afterall ;)
-
Unless it flies on hell knows what it emits IR. And it cant outrun an R-73 with supercruise or superman straped to it as a third jet. Or you still dont see it? I mean how more obvious can I make it. If I see an F22 with my eyes, I can take it out in my outdated Mig-29. Comprende? Within visual range? Infra red? No radar radar?
-
You know what, I guess you are so caught up in the fantasy of stealth, and supercrusing Raptors that I just aint gonna bother waiking you up.
-
Well you are getting into details. The other side has details too. I simply relied to what would happen if you send x amount of F22s towards 1000 Flankers:smilewink: And if the States ever need to employ B-2s and F-22s in the same big war sh*t is going to hit the nuclear fan and all that flanker and stealth technology can go out the window. If the US is not going to war with any of todays nuclear powers do you really need F-22s? You can fight those wars with F-15s and F16s just fine. What will mater then is who can build the bigger space shuttle so we can take off to the moon. And the last time I checked Buran was bigger then the US Space Shuttle:P ;) F22 is the most advanced air superiority machine today. Does that fact alone win an air war? No and you know it. So there is very little need to try to pimp on a such a grand scale. Afterall I can drop a 200km cruise missle from my Su-24. *keep in mind Im a political ally to the States, and hate USSR ;) Before anyone thinks Im some commie hater
-
You do realize that by the time it takes out the first 100 the other 900 will be within visual range. What you gonna do then? Hit the stealth button?

What Target Drones Does the US/Ex Soviets Use?
Ukr_Alex replied to Ukr_Alex's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
I was thinking about this for a while now. Some of us with the right connections might have a job in the field. Afterall it cant be that much different from someone who can handel lets say Falcon as far as avionics go and the Su-25T as far as flight models go ;) -

So how do they exactly work? They just have a remote control system? -
