All maxed out, 6AA 16AF.. 1680x1050 Blowing the crap out of equipment on the ground onboard in cockpit FPS never dips bellow 30...cockpit FPS ranges from 30 in heavy explosions and lots of ground vehicles to 60-80 when ground is more or less clear. But Im talking low altitude bombing, everything maxed 6aa 16af mipmap quality at max force feedback on etc etc.

Mate where did you get that information? 1) 7900GTX doesnt pwn anthing 2) The moment you turn on AA and AF the 1900xt is all over it. Looks like NVIDIA never did get their AA issues fixed. And really who plays anything withouht AA? 3) Nvidia has worse image quality to this day. In ti4xxx days they where worse and these days too. 3) NVIDIA better for lockon? I had lockon with two NVIDIA cards and two ATIs and it was never "better". 7900GTX was an attempt to school the x1900 and it didnt work out.

Russia has more then enough money to get its aviation back on its feet. Its that neither the government nor the generals give a sh*t. Like all Eastern Blocks, there is tons of money on that territory. Since they produce steel, heavy machinery, military equipment, and in case of Russia petrol and gas. There is more then enough money. Except for the fact that people that hold them couldnt care less about avaition, the military or the people. So I find it very ammusing when people from the West say "ex soviet territories are poor". No they aint...Factories are open, countries exportin' and it aint soy beans. ;) Just for example Russia has a 300$ billion stabilization fund. Now thats money in the bank that is supposedly the "peoples money" but which aint seeing any use in "peoples needs". 50% Of Ukrainian economy is a shadow economy. The list goes on... Those who believe that the Russians are developing what they need and what they think is usefull are delusional. What they are devolping is the minimal just so they can say "we are doing something"....its long gone, no one cares anymore, they aint gonna catch up, cause no one is funding the army anymore. Those who believe Russia has no money, are trippin too. They do, its just in the hands of a few. Read a recent article. There are 10 year waiting lists for Lamborghinis in Moscow. Well I did do a full game reinstall. And in the registry under FC when I just click on keys folder withouht expanding it I just get these entires (default) reg_sz (value not set) Last Hardware Profile reg_sz Hardware Profile_00000003 Serial number xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (withouht the xs ofcourse) And when I expand the keys folder I get HardwareProfile_0000001 ____________________2 All the way to Hardware Profile_0000007 The registry entires are there...but I get the starforce activation window each time. Keep in mind my last key was saved with the new setup. I just had to reformat once more cause I repartioned my western digital. Well deleted the key entry in the registry re merged the registry file in the lomac folder to get teh same ol stuff.... Blood starforce is the devils work... Id get lockon gold with the CD but out of damn principle I already paid for FC online.....

No go. Did a full game reinstall. Ran the reg key. And still get starforce everytime I click any of the executables. Just hope ED emails me my new serial soon.

To be honest I never fully "reinstalled" FC. I just keep the copy from the previous install. Since its a pita to install lomac from the CD, then the updates, then FC, then more updates etc etc then all the addons... However I will try to just reinstall FC and see if that works.

So I guess I am not the only one who cant get reg keys to run?

I have to say I am trully surprised how no one really recomended wide screen yet. Widescreen makes the most sense. Its how you naturaly see things, in a wide format. Your horizontal field of view is much greater then your vertical. WS gaming simply trasnforms gaming since you can see so much more. For any sim where you sit in a cockpit I think its essential these days. I would not worry about standarts because most games these days do support widescreen. I will recomend widescreen over 4:3 every day of the week.

This is a real pita. I used up two serials so far because well I change my hardware a lot...I mean this summer alone I changed hard drives twice and got a whole new rig. And I have tried the save key thing fifty times and each time I reinstall and try to run the game by running the registry key file it NEVER works. Each time I still get starforce pop up and tell me I need to activate. So now I emailed them again for a new serial...But I cant keep doing this each time I have an issue or need to format or reinstall the game. So is there any way to really make it work? Well people just wanna see how big all these coolers cant get :P But honestly, its time to develop something new as far as cooling goes. There must be something, but I guess good ol chunk of metal with a fan on it is the cheapest solution.

I had my TrackIr 4 run on two completly different systems. Its as easy as pluging in a joystick.

Do keep in mind though that even though it runs in one core, that one core is still faster than anything else out there. Me mate had an Intel 950 the dual core one and this is way way faster on core to core comparisons. And I dont even have to mention how much faster single core of an Core Duo 2 is then that of a P4... It's an amazing chip. You can get an E6300 and with a good board OC it to E6800 spec withouht problems. At the moment I am very much ram limited because I simply could not afford to dish out the money in a good OC set of ddr6400s. My friend took a 6300 to 3.3GHz on stock air cooling ;) Stable too ;)

Yep, everything that could be put to max is at max. All in game maxed. Mirrors high rez everything. There is no game yet that makes this sytem work. Eveyrthing I throw at it is just mega fps.... 10tacle is a publisher, not a developer ;) I'm a sim racer first, and a sim pilot second. Rfactor is a great platform, but besides the CTDP F1 mod all the mods are poor Im sad to say. GTR2 is great, although I do believe that the tire model could use some tweaking. But you can not compare GTR2 as a full product to any rfactor mod. Rfactor still has a long time to develop. As of right now there is litteraly one mod for it that is worthy of attention.

yea its great, I just need to get these voltages sorted and then Ill OC it some more. :) But its awesome just maxing out lomac :) and FPS is way up there....

GrandSurf dont waist a day longer. However I do have some motherboard issues....actually voltage being to high issues.....to make long story short. As for right now I can only run the 6300 at 6700 spec...or more precisely 2.67GHZ. From the stock 1.8 However forget all that.... I managed to run this rather cheap ram at 1:1 ratio with the FSB at 380. :) When I solve my board problems Ill take this baby to 3 ghz and leave it there. ______________________________________________________________ The x1900xtx is awesome. Image quaility is a lot, a lot better then my 850xt. I mean you can really see it. Day and night. It eats anything I throw at it. Any setting I can think of maxed out and everything is dead smooth. ______________________________________________________________ Lomac runs mega fast. I have it 1680x1050 16AF HQ AF, and 6x AA... Eveyrhing in game maxed out, all the options on. Its just smoooth. ______________________________________________________________ Multitasking is awesome. Im running a LOMAC demo in the background, and browsing my system and typing in the forum like I just rebooted.... LONG LIVE DUAL CORE!

Its most definetly bang for the buck. I buy at NCIX.com they are canadian but they do US too, and you guys pay no tax because its Canadian ;) I saved over 100$ on my full order. And I would definetly not get the X1900xtx, only reason I got it because today they had it on a special sale for only 10$ more then the X1900xt :) The xt can do xtx spec with little effort. But the E6300 is an amazing chip. It should do 3.3ghz on air easy. The Asus P5B is the motherboard of choice for the E6300. Works perfectly with it. The patriot ram is great bang for the buck, and its very good perfomance wise. Some people achieved mad overclocks on patriots.
