  1. Thought I might start my own build thread for my F/A 18C pit. The little progress I've done so far with the actual pit is going to get scrapped, since I'm redoing most of it. So right now I only have my stick that's worth showing! -2x FFB2, inspired by PeterP and the rest of the contributors of http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=83814 -Suncom F15E talon exterior -TM warthog switches and PCB Next up is building a SFS box and putting the Warthog base PCB inside of that so that the stick itself is "plug'n play", and also add a second stage to the trigger. Atleast now it's usable and works great! Thinking of putting a USB hub inside the FFB2 housing to reduce the number of cables running from it to the PC. Might tidy everthing up at one point, but for now it works. Suggestions are always welcome and you want to se more pics, measurements or similar, just let me know! Cheers Robin
  2. I think it would be a great idea, especially if there was a number of different aircraft layouts, FA 18, UH1 etc. Cheap, backlit and modular!
  3. Good news for the A10! http://www.weeklystandard.com/articles/warthog-lives_823820.html?page=1
  4. Finally some progress! I update with more info when I'm done with it. To do: -wire and replace buttons on the Suncom stick -making the box look better -fit a gear stick cover Thanks to everyone contributing to the thread, especially "PeterP, without you guys I could never have done it!
  5. Throttle and stick here as well!
  6. I also have a 4770k, but 780 in SLI. Im running everythin on medium with the Rift. Since i got less stuttering from bumpin' up the resolution, it feels much better, havn't measured it tho. I did the same as LuSi_6, just changed the resolution in the Nvidia control panel and ingame.
  7. Thanks for the tip! Tried it out and now way easier to read the instrument, even the HUD is quite readable now. For some reason I also have less stuttering now aswell.
  8. I don't think that he is scamming, but some news would be appreciated since he hasn't answered my emails and PM's either. Don't want to "nagg" more on the forums, just hoping everything is okay with him. Last update I got was before summer iirc
  9. I would be interested in a "simpler" cockpit, but with all panels and functions. For example, simplified panels on the left- and right consoles. One massive one-layered panel on each side instead of multiple small panels. But if you make console kits, you could have the choice to use one big panel, or the individual ones. Anyway, I would be willing to pay $2000 for cockpit and panels.
  10. Going for the "Black Hawk Down" -ish view. :)
  11. Sounds great! Thank you both for your effort! :)
  12. I just bought two FFB2 and plan to do the mod myself this summer, but my electronic skills need to go up a bit before that. I have read all the pages but I might have missed some parts. Is it possible to use just one FFB2 with a Warthog stick and counterweight, or does that put to much stress on the single FFB2? Since I'm a rookie at electronics, I plan on taking lots of detailed pictures so that it can help other rookies. But I probably need help to figure out all the parts into making it work with two FFB2.
  13. Hi mate, I would love to buy it! Sending PM. Edit: My PM's doesn't seem to be sent from the work computer I'm at. If you have an email I can reach you on, please PM me, reading works atleast :).
  14. I would buy it! It looks fantastic!
