  1. A little lofting will probably help too, as long as it keeps the weapon within it's parameters.
  2. Thanks for the explanations. I shot with 9mm rounds myself (UZI) when I was drafted in the '70's. It didn't make much of an impression ;-)
  3. Thanks. So, maximum fire power by default.
  4. That's what I meant, thanks for clarifying.
  5. I have two options: the microstick on the Cougar throttle and the 4-way switch on the Logitech G13. Hopefully one of them will do the job.
  6. Unless the solution was found in tweaking the resolution of the image display. A zoomable RB75 feels a bit like cheating (though it's useful ingame ;-) )
  7. Sorry for the OT, but as a follow up question about the rocket pod: is it possible to choose a single pod to fire or is it one press, all gone?
  8. A windows search didn't reveal a PluginsEnabled.lua file in my install. It's a fairly new install, I've just started to fly a bit around.
  9. Looks like a kind of Logitech G13 (also with thumb joystick).
  10. It's time to print first ;-)
  11. Good question since the AJS37 was never ment to fly far outside Sweden. I hope the solution won't delay the release...
  12. Thanks a lot! And a lot to read!
  13. I hope the resolution is high enough to read the various instruments etc. I have experienced an OR once, during the Game of Thrones experience, and though convincing for my senses, the resolution still seemed a bit like a mid '90's computer. You know: Doom 1 etc.
  14. I’m very interested in the Viggen since, let’s say, the year 2000 or so but I’m still learning a lot here lately thanks to several expert members on this board. A big ‘hats off’! Tack :-)
  15. I have the same problem, but I can't find the Mustang in the module manager, other than payware.
  16. Thanks, that did the trick!
  17. I'm setting up a new computer and most of it goes well. One exeption: in DCS world 1.5 my CH rudder pedals aren't recognised (the axis I mean: the device is listed). They do work in the CH control manager and in another flight sim, but DCS is blind to them so far. See setup / axis screen below. As I have understood, it is a matter of clearing the right cell, selecting it, clicking Axis Assign and moving the rudder axis. If I do, nothing happens. I have also looked at the Add screen. In only shows the 3 HOTAS axis to assign: roll, pitch and throttle. In the all commands screen I have cleared all related flight control key assignments. Any ideas?
  18. One: the shape is iconic. It was the first aircraft with canards since the wood-and-fabric era. Two: the brute force of the RM8 engine: at the time the most powerful single jet engine around. Three: the role in the Swedish defence system: tailor made for the defensive needs of Sweden Four: the STOL capabilities and the operational use in the sometimes harsh Swedish climate. Five: The short turnaround time for refueling and rearming (AJ37: 10 minutes). During an exercise the same Viggen performed 11 sorties in one day. Six: the functional demand that the JA37 should be able to reach 10 km. altitude from stand still in 1 minute and 40 seconds. Which it indeed could manage.
  19. A long road indeed. And it leads to a much appreciated goal!
  20. I'm not so afraid of the classified thing: now the Viggen is phased out there is no military value in it anymore, but I need to contact the person who did the photographing: I want his permission first. A matter of good manners. And here a 'restricted' memory comes in: so many people have contributed to the JA37Di in B MS that I have to do a thorough search to find the right guy. The fact that it's a few years ago and the forum for that other sim has a very limited storing space doesn't help either. Edit: you can get them, but it may take a day or two. Edit 2: check PM
  21. Now the wait.. well, completing my 'new' pc which can handle DCS with decent framerates at last. And starting to get some experience with DCS.
  22. That indeed would be great: not only for cockpit builders, but for everyone who has a (possibility for a) second screen.
  23. Indeed, in the past I have been reading Viggen manuals with a Swedish-English dictionary next to it, but that's a slow and wobbly path. It's great to have a translation by somebody who actualiteit understands what he's translating. A big thumbs up!
