  1. I did the same as Lucifah under windows 8 and had no issues, Blooze's link is a good one to follow for getting it straightened out and will hopefully work.
  2. Maybe try editing x:\Users\xxxxxx\Saved Games\DCS\MissionEditor\logbook.lua and setting line 7, ["invulnerable"] = true with notepad++. xxxxxx = your windows username. Not sure if that will work TBH. But that's how mine is set.
  3. Is it just the pinky modifier that's not working? Check under the setup and make sure the JOY_BTN6 is listed as a modifier.
  4. If I follow what you are looking for. You can go into the options, controls, and make sure the Layer is the correct one you want to assign to. If you push a button that is mapped in the profile, the screen will jump to what command it is currently assigned to. If it doesn't jump to a command then it's not mapped in the sim. In that case, you can select an empty assignment in the controller column and select Add. Then press the button that you don't know the number of. The window will then show you what the button # is, as in JOY_BTNxxx. Hit cancel and it will back out without assigning the button to that command. Then you know what number the button is that you pushed.
  5. Weird: http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/http%3A//forums.eagle.ru Everything shows green but the forums.eagle.ru But eagle.ru shows up green all around: http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/eagle.ru
  6. Try using the Module Manager from within DCS, it should download the correct version.
  7. Thanks, have to give it a try. Always use Driver Sweeper and never had issues with it.
  8. 496 Mb???? Has Hydravision and Gaming Evolved included it appears. GPU-Z was unable to read the card, Sapphire 7870 OC, after install. Showed clocks at 12750 for core and 933 for memory, also sensor page was missing most information. HWiNFO64 still showed all correct values it appears. Once again saw same ~20% drop in FPS, from 26 to 21, in the same test scenario that I've seen with every release since 13.9 Well, they didn't show as being for the 7870 but everything is worth a shot.
  9. Interested in this thread as I always though I should get better performance than what I do. I5-4670K @ 4.5, HD7870 @ 1175x1350 Single monitor @1920x1080. FPS on this test was ~100. For this test, CPU ran at 42% temp 40°. GPU ran at 82% temp 60°. Only mods/tweaks are graphics.lua structures = {20, 10000}; and high.lua distance10x10 = 30000.0; --30000 Catalyst AI is off, External Event Viewer disabled, CCC and MOM stopped. Flying SP and MP missions I am lucky to maintain 30 FPS and often dip below 20. Normally I limit FPS to 30 as I rarely see that. So am I bottlenecked somewhere or is this just part of the ATI drivers not being DX9 optimized and not able to utilize everything fully.
  10. Lol, Actually looking at the specs, that's a 2-Way ‘K’ Switch, so up/down. Maybe not so bad.
  11. Looking at pics, interesting that they moved the hat switch to the left throttle, seems weird to use the ring finger for that?
  12. Wow, would think they know that.
  13. It's on their twitter page. Saw someone else had mentioned it.
  14. I did this mod: Vid is for X52 non pro, but it works the same, just more difficult because of the inside spring.
  15. If I had never used a dual stage trigger, I probably wouldn't mind or think twice. But once you get used to having and utilizing something, taking it away makes no sense.
  16. I still can't believe they made a new "modern" stick with a single stage trigger, it feels like they took a step backwards.
  17. Looks like it's back up, and full again.
  18. That has really enjoyed breaking all the Christmas Lights on the header? :pilotfly:
  19. Had that issue for a while, I would bring it in smooth as silk and BAM!!!, blown tires. Turns out it was my rudder pedals. For some reason, the pedals always engage the brakes unless I push and release them after lowering the gear. (I think this is a known issue with Saitek pedals). Added that step to my landing checklist and no more blown tires, unless I screw up and slam the tarmac.
  20. This is normally what it looks like while running a mission, in this case the TNN from Hoggit while flying over the easy range.
  21. If you allow gaming mode it should allow the chosen app to maximize CPU usage. No throttling basically, even if the program wants 100% utilization. But, the program can still bounce around cores as Skatezilla pointed out unless you lock it to certain cores. The way I have mine set up, I5 4670k, is DCS on cores 3 & 4 with high priority and gaming mode on, facetracking on 1-2, logitech gaming on 1-2, and so on. Most of the OS stuff seems to run on 1-2. I'm still playing with it to see if any further improvement can be had but there's a lot of stuff that runs no matter what you do it seems.
  22. Hey Skatezilla, check out Process Lasso, http://bitsum.com/processlasso/ (I'm not associated with it in anyway besides being a user. ) I started using it a few months ago and really have noticed a difference. Neat thing is that you can adjust all affinity, priority, etc, settings and it remembers them every time you run that program. Also has a dedicated gaming mode per application to give it maximum utilization. I keep my face tracking and other things separated from the sim, you could even make it so that only the sim is running on 2 cores but I've never tried going that far with it yet.
  23. Anybody have experience with Roccat keyboards? The Ryos Mk Pro appears to be a pretty nice keyboard, choice of Cherry switches, dual processors, and the ability to control every led separately.
  24. I guess back in 0 there was a greater time difference. Or it could be that the Julian calendar still has it listed as the 7th.
  25. The X-55 is their new model, not available yet: http://www.saitek.com/x55/
