  1. Yes, the vertical field of view for dogfighting start at 03:36
  2. Hyper-threading is great, but i think that physical cores are better than logical cores. My point is,,, your cpu will be obsolete before that Vulcan come in life in DCS. Speed is the key. In a Hyper-threading situation, when 2 thread share the same core, and one of the threads is heavy, this thread will be slow down to work on the other one who already wait.
  3. Hyper-Threading Technology is a form of simultaneous multithreading technology (SMT). So, hyperthreading can't do much for single threaded (or almost) workloads like DCS.
  4. Hyperthreading, refers to a very specific hardware technology created by Intel, which allows a single processor core to interleave two threads. Hyperthreading is hardware (by including an extra set of CPU registers)
  5. Because it's called multiprocessing, not multithreading. Multiprocessing use more cores. Multithreading use more on each of the cores.
  6. This. Any 120mm fans at 1200rpm or below are quiet. 1000rpm and below, for a 140mm fan. Why remove a $10 fan to put a $10 heat sink? Many of those components generate only few watts of heat, but still need a mimimum air flow.
  7. SSD operating temperature is 0°C to +70°C. No need to put anything.

  9. I'm far from the best guy to help you about this kind of problem but it look like a double assignation mapping.
  10. For a little less, you could go with a PSU with a 7 years warranty :smartass: "All of the capacitors are 105°C rated, Japanese brand, to ensure solid power delivery and long term reliability". Corsair TXM. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/JfBrxr/corsair-txm-gold-750w-80-gold-certified-semi-modular-atx-power-supply-cp-9020131-na
  11. I was doing the same thing in the Rise of Flight forum. Merry Christmas! :drunk:
  12. Of course. The trio CPU/MoBo/RAM, and probably a PSU.
