  1. Set your CPU at default speed, set your RAM at lower speed.
  2. Yep, stay away of bizarre things that peoples can build :D
  3. What is your goal? Your already at 79 FPS. Overclock the CPU and get a bigger video card.
  4. They must run at the same voltage. They will run at the frequency and timing of the slower one.
  5. Next time, try your RAM at lower frequency and/or at slower timing. That can resolve your problem of stability.
  6. Effects of voltage ripple is component longevity ($$$ video card) and overclocking potential. https://www.gamersnexus.net/guides/2053-power-supply-voltage-ripple-and-relevance
  7. The Platinum 92%/Titanium 94% certifier PSU (high end PSU) are better build with a better platform and high quality components. So, they are more expensive and last longer. They are suitable for a pc who need a lot of power (sli/crossfire) to operate.
  8. High Power PSU are made by Sirtec. A decent oem who builds lots of medium end PSU for many brands. You can find better.
  9. What? I'm fishing at Lake Champlain. https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Lake+Champlain/@45.0616692,-73.1352006,13.65z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x4cca873d4608d0a1:0x4abea7a39942b88!8m2!3d44.586581!4d-73.3800905 Yes, a bronze certification PSU will generate 62w of heat and last lesser. Output 350w=85% Input ???w=100% 100x350w/85= 412w Look at the warranty of the PSU: Garbage PSU= 3 years Cheap PSU= 5 years Good PSU= 7 years Very good= 10 years Hulk= 12+ years
  10. Yes... When you drive like him.
  11. Can you run DCS: https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/dcs-world/11785
  12. Oups! My mistake. Hi Milou, i was referring to Boondoggle with his Corsair TX.
  13. The Corsair is warranty 5 years, how old is the Corsair? (You know what I mean?) https://www.corsair.com/ca/en/Categories/Products/Power-Supply-Units/Enthusiast-Series%E2%84%A2-TX650-V2-%E2%80%94-80-PLUS%C2%AE-Bronze-Certified-650-Watt-High-Performance-Power-Supply/p/CMPSU-650TXV2

  15. Amen!.. Amen!.. Amen!.. Amen!
  16. Funny. I remember on some previous threads that some of you told us that the performance gain between specific generations and most of the other generation was... small. Do you compare these CPU at the same frequency? You all know that the Sandy bridge is good. At least delid it before to spend $$$. I think Intel has understand (9700K) that physical cores are better than virtual cores for gaming. And generate less heat for the overclocker.
  17. Yes, I confirm they use this frequent trick :bye: I always laugh when peoples "want" Asus mobo.
  18. Tips: Look at the warranty of the PSU to know how good he is. Garbage PSU= 3 years Cheap PSU= 5 years Good PSU= 7 years Very good= 10 years Hulk= 12+ years
  19. Yes, 650w is enough for a GTX2070. How old is your PSU? What model?
  20. Your delay looks like ok. :D I have waited 2-3 months for my Asus motherboard. But I did not wait, i bought another mobo. :sly: I had already waited 2 months for my G940, another waiting was too much, i was very addicted at these times.
