OK. Thanks for response.

Hi, I own an used Gladiator MK1 pro and Im very pleased with it. It has almost all the suepr stuff as new Gunfighters except it has a plastic base with many buttons and throttle lever. As I was informed VKB abandoned idea of producing new versions of such concept (without the need for sepaeate throttle) with explanation it wont apply to "hardcore simmers" which will buy separate throttle anyways. Thats is a pitty as there are experienced simmers who would buy the stick with this concept (but with all metal gymbal mechanism as in Gladiator pro MK1). Is there a chance we will see one in the future?

I upgraded from TFRP Rudders to MFG Crossing rudder. Wow.
Tvrdi replied to S. Low's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I switched to the loosest option for toe brakes and the tension is perfect and Im 77kg. To change the tesnion you dont need to be a master carpenter. I fixed pedals to the wall moldings, an wasy fix so they dont move upr or down (fitted them agaisnt the wall also). BTW they have holes since a pro simmer would fix them anyways to some pit housing or simple flat wooden board. Tension of the board can be adjusted in many ways. First, you have a rocker switch in front. Then you have two postitions where the spring can "sit" (on the other side). Also there is a softer spring in the MFG store. everything is adjustable with MFGs and they are wide and comfortabel and super precise (I tested in the joy tester and in the MFG config software). The pedals are superb. Enjoy. -
Any news on this? Anybody selling combat pads for MFG Crosswinds?
-
Glad you like them. BTW, Split is beautiful but the islands are just f**** awesome.... From Croatia with love :smilewink:

Yeah, this was probably an early MKIV purchase.

MK IV comes with blackbox only. Never ever heard of MKIV with tinybox. But looking at his listing on ebay I see its MKIV. Strange.

Introducing the VKB-Sim ‘Modern Combat Grip’ (MCG)
Tvrdi replied to rrohde's topic in VKB-SIM Flight Gear
So basically that was a lie since you never produced MCG or Kosmosima grips with 5 pin connector and you never produced 3 to 5 pin adapter to connect MCG and Kosmosima to Gladiator pro MK1 base. Thank you for that. :music_whistling: -
Good! They are indeed very helpful. Im advertising this unit everywhere because they deserve that. Im very pleased with Edtracker Pro.
-
This is why I picked the wired version of Edtracker Pro. More safe version. If anything helps here are my settings (note: Im using pseudo 6DOF so I also changed the curves in Opentrack):
-
You are right I overlooked you are using WIFI version.
-
Something is wrong. You need to flash the firmware via developer mode within the EDtracker pro GUI. After flashing press restart. I will be able to help you more when I get home. 18:00 CET.
-
Im not at home right now but I will post my settings later. Did you update to the latest firmware? Also make sure you mobile device is not anywhere near the edtracker unit. Try to recalibrate.
-
So you basicaly left out your customers who bought Gladiator pro Mk1. It isnt some ancient product....it was sold recently. This is very unprofessional.
-
Well, as imperfect as VR is still (for now, it will be better with time) I would definitely try it...but I cant. As a vestibular neuritis survivor I would have motion sickness for sure. Also, I cant stand the heavy thing on my face and sweating during summer days. Also, I would need to invest in better hardware to run sims with VR decently. Nah, I will stick with head tracking.

Wow! This is awesome. Now if some of you 3d print guys would like to sell a pair of combat footrests :-)
-
This is fantastic. Dont quit pls haha. I got my Corsswinds few days ago and cant wait for those combat footplates as its not comfortable to use existing with heels on the floor. BTW I dont see holes for the crews.
-
I must admit its a bit on the stiff side for me. Its pretty stiff even on the weakest setting but then again you cant press them accidentally. The main spring can be adjusted nicely and thers even an option to position the spring so you can have more progressive resistance towards the end of the defelction. Now, all I need is a combat style footrests hehe EDIT: I lowered the footrests/plates to the lowest point possible (mounted on the width adjustment plates). That way it is possible to position them even lower than without width adjustment plates. There is still more than 2cm of room towards the floor so no probs of using them with heels on the ground. Also adjusted the angle to 4mm before mark 44 (that would be angle of 40?). Ofcourse it would be still better with real combat footrests. For now Im using almost the lowest spring tension and non progressive resistance (inner position of the spring). I cant see the benefits of having stiff spring resistance unless the feets are on the footrests.

They are here! I absolutely love them. Even more than my simped vario (regreted after I sold them long ago). They are very comfortable to use and very precise and they look great (now in gunmetal black). I ordered the width adjustment plates because I wanted them even more wider and to be able to mount footrests in more vertical position so I can use them with heels on the floor. And it works! It works very well (though its easier to return to the center with feets on the pedals). The pedals are very very precise and feel durable. Such customizable pedals doesnt exist anywhere else. The funny part is that you dont need to mount them or velcro them because the heels are on the floor and thers no direct weight on them. Though in such position is a bit harder to use brakes but I dont care tbh. Here is the pic with my "combat style" footrests mounted.
-
My pedals should arrive soon so I still dont have them but I think you can get away with width adjustment plates. They have more holes for pedals so you can mount pedals higher than usual thus giving you an option for more steep angle and you should be allowed to use them in "combat style". Or....you can measure the holes (on which the pedals mount) and their distance and you can order some basic pedals/plates from any furniture maker (small business). It shouldnt cost much. It could be just a simple wooden plate with two holes for mount. Not a pretty but cheap solution. Cutting the existing plates is also possible I guess...

Great news! Fingers crossed. Thanks.

That looks awesome! Any info on the progress? I would buy this from you, right away. :smilewink:

If you're happy with your joystick, clap your hands
Tvrdi replied to davevegas901's topic in VKB-SIM Flight Gear
I have Gladiator pro MK1 and Im very pleased with it. A great felling with that progressive resistance and the metal gymbal system is durable. The inputs are very precise. I like KG12 grip as it is a perfect fit for average sized fist unlike MCG. Then there is kosmosima grip now which feels better for not gigantic fists.. -
Just ordered the VKB-SIM T-RUDDER PEDALS MK.IV
Tvrdi replied to Dav IRL's topic in VKB-SIM Flight Gear
I finally received my set of pedals. So here it is what I found out in a few days of using them: pros: - they are VERY precise..straight out of the box but I fine tuned them in IL2 GB so the response curve is less straight.. - not noisy at all...pedals are still new but they now included the heatshrink tube over the spring (so its silent) and the cam centering can barely be heard after I stiffened the spring (changed it to the farest position). Im still on default CAM profile, I like hard center. I needed stiffer spring because Im resting my feets on the pedals so no unattended inputs will occur. - they feel sturdy all metal and well built - very compact, suitable for "desktop" PC, no need for "cockpit" setup in the living room. Can be used with office chairs with wheels. cons (kinda): - not super comfortable like simpeds (cant tell about MFGs but even less comfortable for me is the feets on the pedals style like in MFGs, simpeds I moded so I rested my heels on the ground, I just shortened and switched over the foot plates). So im still getting used to up and down motion (I was get used to classic pedals). Also I like to sit with my knees widely open and in that position its kinda hard to rest feets on the metal bars, however in a position where Im closer to the pedals (chair closer to them) I can sit comfortably more or less. I hope this will improve. Its really a pitty they didnt include the adjusting feet rests/bars so we can make them in the wider position as we please (thought maybe some modding can be done, dunno about that). Also would be better if the feet rests are more like plates like the heel rests they included...would be more comfortable like than with bars....Im using slippers with all my pedals and its almost mandatory with the VKBs because of metal construction and tiny feet rests not suitable for "barefoot use". BTW, my pedals came with loosened bearing nut so the CAM was "dancing" all over the place and was noisy. But anyways I opened the pedals to increase the resistance and tighteneed that nut and now they are working perfect. Thats is all for now. I connected them directly into the Gladiator pro mk1 and it works no probs.
