  1. Whos decision was not to include trial? This should be a demand from DCS. I never bought a terrain without trying it. And it seams that trials arent a thing lately as many new stuff is without trial.

  3. You just like to complicate things right? Not that Im not interested in RL figures but thats pointless here since in DCS we have different situation with current modules compared to RL figures of those planes. Dont make me explaning everything (discussed to death already) because I would be bashed by die hard fans just like I was bashed in some past sims Ive been playing during my super long sim career (simming since 90s). So my question was. How will DCS F15E MODULE compare in close fights (also turning fights) vs F16 and F18 DCS MODULES. I know we cant know for sure as it isnt relaeased yet, but I was just asking the simple innocent question. Nothing deep behind it. If you cant answer just type "I dont know". That would be ok too. Hint: maybe a current F15C (even tohugh its FC3 module) can be a comparing guideline. cheers
  4. Guys what do you think. How will our F15E stand in close turning dogfights? Compared to F16 ad F18? Im asking only and only about DCS planes, not in RL. Im not interested in figures from RL because obviously we are not flying those in the sim. What I know is that F15E would be fast, would be good for long to medium AtoA engagements, but what about close dogfights? Sustained turns? One cirlce turn? Etc. Why Im asking this? Because the E variant wasnt built solely for air dominance, the C was made for that. The fact is that AtoA is still the most popular amongst any flight sim community Im affraid there will be some disappointed preordering dudes who are not going to do AtG jobs often, if ever.
  5. And you are surprised. Close dogfights are fun. Not that they would happen often in RL (but who knows if WW3 comes (hope not) with all the numbers in the air) but this is still a game (sim). TBH I stopped playing at "fox3 servers". I much more enjoy cold war setting where we have only sparrows and earlier sidewinders. Or that one with even earlier stuff like R60s etc. Often there is close fight and not so rare cannon kills. Its a game, have fun. I never enjoyed my AMRAM kills. Never. I feel like Im playing some strategic game. Shoot, wait, evade, pitbull, escape. And then maybe you will see in chat text if you killed someone. I admire if that is fun for someone. Guess which server is the most popular in DCS (not counting growling sidewinder comedy)? With that said you should try warbirds guys, its all sweat and pain. But also a reward. Its fun.

  7. Are you trolling me? Operational simplicity and details in general, everything. In FC3 planes you can do all this in few clicks. If any. Did you see the latest radar videos of Razbam (in F15E cockpit) or we gonna pretend full fidelity modules are the same as FC3?
  8. I was thinking about simplicity of radar and HUD usage, the most. You know, very easy to detect, ID and everything with everything simplified. Not to mention you dont need to bother with any of the sistems really. FMs are also comical.
  9. The problem is, with FC3 planes they are feel almost like one plane with simplified FM, simplified everything. HEck if you learn MiG29 you can fly others right aways (including F15C). TBH I would ban them from the DCS, if you ask me. Specially since in MP we have comic situations where FC3 planes are kinda dominating since they are very simplified and easy to use in ever single way.

  11. BTW, F15E (AI) in the sim can carry only 4 air to air missiles...Will that be the case with razbam module?
  12. I wonder why Razbam simply didnt go with F15C. Easier to make and it would be more convenient since ppl are mostly flying singleplayer and we in multiplayer more often than not- alone. In one plane, that is. Yes, we already have 15C but...ehhh, low fidelity.
  13. I tried in SP and in MP and from all angles (behind aspect) but it rarely locks (beeps). How to do it properly and with radar OFF or ON? Its much easier with 530IR.
  14. Game crashes alot in MP after last update. Long freeze (in cockpit) then crash or hang. Metahsaders2 and dxo folders deleted after update. dcs.log.old
  15. Dont get me wrong, Im excited about new warbirds BUT...normandy have, more or less completed all the major fighters of the battle so thata why we have (and could have) a nice MP server. But releasing the two mentioned above doesnt make any sense for MP. Or those modules are just for SP ppl to have fun on whatever map they have?
  16. OK guys just to update you with my stuttering/fps drop issue. It was caused by...................MIG21 radar and its ground clutter. I discovered that since I tried to fly other planes on the map (on enigma server) and it was mostly smooth unlike when I was flying with Mig21. So in mig its also better with radar OFF. Furthermore it seams when im using Mig19 radar or F5e radar its also running ok on that map online. Its just the darn MiG 21 radar. I wouldnt even notice but I was directed to that issue from discord community. So many thanks to them. Its really weard.... Anyways this map still needs more optimizations. Sometimes there is also alot of lag online but that could be also server side...I dunno... So now back to buying Syria map on next sale...doh!
  17. Just to let you know, guys from Eagle Dynamics were super cooperative and very professional and they helped me with my order and offered very fair solutions to my problem. Kudos to them and I will buy in their shop in the future.

  19. Nothing helps in my case. I tried everything (large pagefile, MSAA OFF, FXAA, low textures etc.). I have RTX3060Ti 8GB, i5 11400F (4.4Ghz), 32GB 3200Mhz RAM, M2 NvMe SSD 1tb, 166hz Gysnc 1440p Dell gaming monitor.....Win 10 pro latest and optimized. I have Normandy map which works perfectly online (full server), Caucasus works perfectly also (even on high settings). I bought Syria for Cold war server and now cant play and wasted 40$ which is a stretch for central european guy. Im so f sad I cant even describe! Whoever decided this can go in release made some of us pay for unfinished and unoptimized product and the system requirements are false. You cant even refund.
  20. I always balance teams. If less red I fly mig21, probably one of the 3 most fun modules in DCS. Tricky is fun. If less blue I fly Viggen in AA setting because F5 is boring and not challeging. Hopefully Mirage F1 will make things more interesting for blue.
  21. I meant in general. 56 is max number of slots server offers. Probably it is limited because of stability? Also, I noticed most of the air to air combat occurs very low which isnt fully historical but the same problem we had on ww2 servers in IL2 and DCS. This is something which isnt easy to solve.
  22. Im very pleased with this server. I would like to thanks all involved, cold war era is kinda sweet spot for many and some of WW2 sim vets are coming (myself included). The ping is kinda high (around 130) for me but Im in Europe so its expected but mostly it runs smoothly. Also it definitely needs more slots as it is very popular and often full (at peak time). Keep up the good work!
  23. Great news, but....Why not B17 to fit into current planeset in Normandy map? Or any other bomber from that timescale and battle.
  24. Im a long time simmer (30yrs), went through all the major sims on the market, being beta tester for some....the center of my interest is WW2 airwar but I also love early jets (Korea era). Im very sad to see Korea MP server almost empty all the time. While cold war server is full. But Cold war server is all about Mig21 and such, radars, missiles etc. WW2 flyers would greatly enjoy korea jets with its up close and personal dogfights with cannons.... Such a shame...
