Saitek X-52 Pro Worth my time and money?
313_Nevo replied to SilentGun's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I think you wanted to say CH Products. anyway good point about the lack of twist (I forgot to mention). the CH setup needs definitely extra pedals  -
I dont know if somebody already mentioned YouTube videos posting. But here is small suggestion: At this moment it is allowed to put inside YOUTUBE tags only the part of YT video url which is behind '=' e.g. Y0G_4fxZUSk Pls make posting YT videos easier for the forums members by allowing them to put inside YOUTUBE tags also the full urls like: thx

Saitek X-52 Pro Worth my time and money?

SG and what about CH Combatstick + CH Pro Throttle for around $270 ? not as cheap as X52, and not as expansive as Warthog :) -
Cockpit view panning via right mouse button?
313_Nevo replied to Diplocaulus's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
maybe a 5 buttons mouse can be solution for you. so you can do the pan viewing by holding one of the additional 2 buttons. I have mapped Ctrl and Shift to these 2 buttons and panning by holding one of them and the joy hat. -

SG maybe you can also consider buying Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS X + T.16000M. It is in the same pricing category as the X52 (non-pro). of course less switches/rotaries/sliders but maybe little bit better build quality. -
indeed great looking pit Matt! I have question regarding the big 3 main screens, can you share the manufacturer and type? thx
-
BFBunny I am asking because exactly the same thing happened to me during MP session after the last patch and I didnt notice it before patch. I am just wondering if it was some random failure or I was too rough to the engine. Didnt have time to test it again :) the other thing is this is this modeled? does it really 'affects the carburetor's altitude compensation'?

Funny, WWII is not that particular "C"? That "C" stands for 'jet engines and BVR missiles' or something? :) This is for sure the fine way. Yes, not civilian but they dont have a cannon either :) Pls add some heavy stuff to the poll. -
thanks for the link Temp :)

'news' that term explains everything, didnt notice :) thx for info

Are you sure that TM does? because it is not obvious from their web site. and I also didnt find a shop which will offer only TM throttle.
-
also great would be if manufactures like TM or Saitek will offer their Warthog or Rhino throttles separately. I dont understand why this is not an option!?
-
only low end and high end? I dont think so. as mentioned for HOTAS systems you can get: Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X Saitek X52 Saitek X52Pro Saitek X55 Rhino CH Products Stick + Pro Throttle Thrustmaster Warthog quite wide variety of systems imho. here I need to mention that we can also build our own setup - like T.Flight Hotas X throttle + Thrustmaster T16000M stick, CH Pro Throttle + Defender Cobra M5 etc... And regarding sticks only there is much more to choose from.

What should come after Europe 1944?
313_Nevo replied to flare2000x's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
what about map of some not specific place without name? just like in the early combat games like Falcon and F16CombatPilot? then we can fly everything there from biplanes to modern jets. and nobody will ever again complain about Stangs over Georgia etc. :) -
Leatherneck Simulations Monthly Update - January 2015
313_Nevo replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
sometime it seems to me, that people loosing imagination. for example, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Libya, Egypt, Syria,.. were all supplied by USSR, and all operated MiG21. So you can imagine, that MiG21 is opponent for itself.. as any other aircraft can be. I know that many people only thinks in the borders of popular history and want only this particular situations to relive. but life is whole lot of colorful. ;) and to the trainers thing - (imho) the dev teams have maybe big amount of sources regarding this planes, or has real life experience flying/maintaining this planes. so they started with them. as the DSC planes provides steep learning curve for us players, so the development of these provides steep learning curve for the devs. so devs decision to start with simple trainer can bring its fruits in the later development of big planes. but for sure release of these trainers should be supported by announcement of the next 'big' project. this way many people will support the devs with buying these trainers in expectations of the big things. :) -
yes, this is correct approach :)
