That was a night air-air refuelling in harrier in the good old time, when we were still able to deactivate defferred shadings: Try to do the same now as it is no more possible to deactivate defferred shadings. Good luck.

I agrre that some things can be fixed by increasing gamma setting. But, other things like landing light that can't light anything in front of airplane when taxiing by night, the AV8B FLIR that doesn't show anything anymore in front of you (and before we could have a really good view on mountains, details on land etc etc...), and in AV8B, before when you attempted a night air refueling, the light in the AAR probe lit the refueling drogue and you had a really nice cool effect that lit the tanker as well (lower wing surface, fuel pods), this video illustrates what I mean: Try to do the same now with deferred shadings, you will not see anything until the drogue smacks your nose. Come on ED, please give us back REAL lighting effects or at least, give us back the possibility to switch off deferred shadings

...Give us back the possibility to switch off differed shading, everything is too dark (light effect, cockpit lighting, etc etc etc, especially at night, even the landing light doesn't allow to see anything 1 meter in front of airplane

My theory (and I insist, THEORY :smilewink:) Razbam developped the AV8B 2+ for fsx/p3d with fully implemented and working air/air, air/ground, air/sea radar. Maybe, and I said maybe, they made a deal with ED to have those radar air/ground/sea features working with their F18, and maybe (again :music_whistling:), we will have soon or later the AV8B 2+ for DCS :joystick::pilotfly:

Hi there ! Is there a script that, when triggered, gives course and speed of a ship ( unit name) and wind direction/speed ? Would be very useful for harrier and hornet drivers
-
Hello there ! I just wondered if anybody had news about the beautiful Tarawa in devellopement for harrier drivers ? There a few pics on Razbam's FB account a whiiiiile ago with flight deck personnals and their animations, forklifts, and the ship herself but no more news since then

Don't leave her parked sadly in her hangar, she wants to fly :pilotfly: Seriously, one good reason for flying early access, you will learn how to properly handle you airplane with the systems which are working NOW (and vertical landing is an essential skill to learn, same for AAR). It will be less things for you to learn when additionnal systems/features will become available. The more you learn now, the less you will sweat in the future  We discover the early access beast with guys from the virtual squad I fly with, we learn, we build procedures, and more important, we have a lot of fun

+1, I totally agree with Dimitriov, come on ED, make it look more "alife" and immersive

Hello there, First of all, thanks for this Strait of Hormuz map. My item for this map wishlist are more realistic/immersive ground textures. For example, in iranian mountains, it feels like beeing on the surface of Mars although there are bushes, trees, cultures as it can be seen on the joint pictures. But, the map has just been released, so everything is subjected to updates/improvements

+1 , It would be a very great thing if we could have updated information in the pocket guide. And, Razbam, thank you very much for this great, great, great aircraft :-)

Hello fellow Harrier drivers, A question, now it is possible to designate a waypoint as a target point, and when active, the DMT directly looks at this target point. Is it possible to do the same with the TPOD, to make it look directly to my target point when it's out of standby mode ?

A screen from a friend. I guess that guy died nearly 3-4 times and will not be a threat anymore :megalol:

Hi there ! I just tried this awesome mod in 2.5b, and I have a problem, the FARP mat appears nearly 1 foot above the ground, and helicopter spawns with gear up and thus falls at mission start. Does anyone expereinces the same thing ?

Hi there ! I tried to cold start in huey from the essex, and helicopters started on the very centre of the flight deck with rotor blades nearly hitting the bridge, they didn't spawn on helicopter places, does anyone experienced the same ? -
LHA Amphibious Assault Package

Really, REALLY nice work, thank you very much ! Just a question, I jujst tested the LCAC (tried to reach a beach), and for some reason they just stop about 1.3 NM from the shore, is there a way to overcome this little problem ? -
Last flight in KA50 in ennemy zone, flying fast and low, I was shot down by a T-72 which god-sniped-one-shot me with its main gun 3 kilometers away :music_whistling::mad: ... Yeah, very realistic AI, well done ED...

Question about the TPOD, in the future will we have the 4 cardinal points (N,E,S,W) on the display ?
-
With helcopters as well, this could be an AWESOME update, come on ED, is programming a trigger zone as a rearm/refuel area so hard to code ?
-
Yeah, having a REAL rearm/refuel zone is an old dream, but it looks like we will have to deal with the infamous and awful Aztec pyramid styled Farp for a long long time
-
Hi there ! Maybe it has been reported before, but I noticed that when I try to spawn helicopter (cold start) on the Tarawa, the helicopters (3 over 4) appear in mid air, 3-4 meters off the flight deck on the left, as shown in the joined pics The big splach in the sea on the first pic was my helicopter just after mission start :megalol:

Hi there ! When hanging around on google, I found this website and this page, that says that the software includes Caucasus, Nevada and Persian Gulf: http://www.thebattlesim.com/theater_environment/ So, is the persian gulf map ready or not, because it looks like it is when looking to this website :music_whistling: ?
