Depuis que l'option du deferred shadings a été supprimée, le vol de nuit est devenu un bordel innommable, les phares d'attérissage n'éclairent pas au delà des 5 mètres devant l'avion, le cockpit est sombre comme pas possible même avec l'éclairage activé, en harrier quand tu veux ravitailler en vol, ben le phare de la perche n'éclaire plus le ravito comme avant et en prime tu vois le panier juste avant de te le prendre en pleine poire. Regardes ma vidéo ici, voilà ce que donnait un ravito en vol sans le deferred shadings, avant que l'option ne soit supprimée. Si tu as le harrier, tentes le ravito maintenant, et la différence, ben tu la verras tout de suite :(
  2. Hello, It would be really good to have the possibility to activate/deactivate deferred shadings in the options menu, as it was before, so DCS would be more "night time flights friendly" again

In ME, for the missile and bombs trigger list, it would be great to add "Any bomb" and " Any missile" to the bomb/missile list to avoid to have to add a trigger for each bomb or missile if we want a "if bomb type/missile type in zone, then do this". It would really make life easier in mission editing
  4. Sounds great and very promising. I don't want to be the "grumpy guy", but I hope they will not forget to implement better "naval ATC" that gives me the ship's speed and heading, a better "naval AI" that would, for example, turn the ship into the wind when you contact ATC for landing and then resume waypoints following, before giving the possibility to walk in the carrier. It would be great for sure, but it is no point if you have to make your carrier following a thousand mile line when creating a mission because otherwise it will not face the wind anymore
  5. To me, yes the problem comes from ED. IMO, this lighting effect your screenshots show are just a ground texture that appears only during night time where the apron should be lighted. If you spawn a harrier on the Tarawa, light is reflected on the airplane

  7. Hello there ! Is there a keyboard input for the knob that allows to increase/decrease the waypoint/tacan course ? And a little feedback for mouse users, maybe it should be better to make the knob "more sensitive"", I tried to set a 180° course, well I scrolled and scolled and scrolled with my mouse for what seemed to be minutes :P
  8. Hi zayets, In the code that Grimes wrote, at line: msg[#msg+1] = mist.getHeading (u, true) replace true by magnetic, it works like a charm for me :thumbup:

  10. Same issue for me as well, crash in mission editor since last update. I wonder when will come the time when I will be to glad to wonder "Cool, an update, I'm really looking forward to see what has been improved" instead of "new update ? Mmmm, let's see what is f***d up now..."
  11. Thank you for your answer, it seems to work ! One more question, I have the message displayed with the infos, but ship course looks to be in radians instead of degrees, how to make the conversion within the script ? ***EDIT*** I just found it, thanks for your help Grimes, it works !!! :-D
  12. Thanks for the script, but I have a question, how do you make it work in the mission editor ? I tried to make it work but nothing happened. I did the following in triggers: -1) when time >10 seconds execute script file mist and create a radio menu for my group (marker 1) 2) everytime marker 1 is true, do script, and I paste what you gave me in the ME script window

I wondered, is it possible to create a script to do the following thing: when coming back to the tarawa in my harrier, I use a radio menu and then I have a message (text on screen) that indicates me the course and speed of the ship. If I could I would do it myself, but I have absolutely zero skill regarding lua and programm language in general

  17. Hi everyone ! Problem with the deffered shadings, lightings effects during night times. How do I know it comes from deferred shadings ? I just made the comparison between my 2.5 release NOT UP TO DATE, so I can still activate/deactivate deferred shadings at will, and my up-to-date 2.5.2 Beta, where it is no more possible to deactivate DS. Comparisons were made in same conditions, no mods activated, with the same module ,Eagle Dynamic's KA50, not other 3rd party module. 2.5 Release, no deffered shadings: We can see that the landing light lights the runway in front of us very well, instruments, consoles and labels are very well lit and readable, the autopilot roll, pitch, and heading are on and their buttons are very well lit as well. Now, 2.5.2 Beta, up-to-date, deferred shadings on: The landing light is now useless, instrument consoles and switch lighting doesn't work properly and instruments are barely readable, and our 3 autopilots buttons (that are switched on in the example) are not lit at all And there are many, many, many lighting bugs like those in the KA50 and in other modules as well. And I precise I wrote this thread in a respectful and open-minded manner, no grunge involved here, no need to close this thread and thus a constructive debate :smilewink: Flo

    Holy Cow!

    Cows can wait, would be better to have more important things fixed before, like lighting effects (landing light, cockpit lighting etc etc...)

  21. As far as I could understand, the LCAC is considered as an amphibious vehicle (and it is) but subjected to same limitations as the AAV7 and the BTR80, max speed on water 6 knots. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no clue where and how to modify it

  23. Hi there ! One stupid question, I can't move camera in F2 view with mouse, only with num pad. Is there a way to activate mouse control so I can assign my numpad to my UFC buttons ?
