So this aircraft doesn't have any radar guisded missiles?? I admit that I don't know much about this aircraft, but allways thought that it had some SARH missiles...
-
How is progress going with this module? Some new photos or some news would be welcome... :)
-
For me "early access" means beta... and final release means leaving beta state and reaching the final version... And That's what hapened with every other model until this day... "Your eyes only see what your mind is ready to comprehend"
-
I think they mean that tomorrow we can pre buy the module and it will be available in July... the only advantage of buying now is the discount... Nothing new here, has been done before
-
Day one buy for me... Actually i'm going to buy the gazelle to help you guys! About the siren, as DCS is no first person shooter, the jericho siren isn't going to be of much use (it was used to scare the oponents). Being a russian in WWII and hearing the siren might be the same as being a taliban and hearing the unique A-10 engine sound... Might be the last thing you will ever hear...

Are these bugs present in 2.0 open alpha? Or it is more stable than 1.5?
-
I managed to reach mach 1.04 at 15000ft without afterburner and with 2 530's and 2 magics. Never heard the M2000C had that capability...
-
I don't think the AN/APQ-159 used in the tiger II has the abality to fire the mavericks... That capability was exclusive to the AN/APQ-159-1, that was used in later models IIRC...

First of all let me say that I love this aircraft. I think that we should have more options for axis controls in the menus. I'm thinking of radio frequency, weapon selection and many others. It will greatly improve the game experience. Anyone else thinks so? Keep up the great work.

Any idea of when will the autolock ability be available? It can sometimes make a diference in a dogfight... Cheers
-
Finally we'll have a rival for the MiG 21Bis... Will be nice to explore the stregths and weaknesses of each one of them!
-
Mbot, are you planning or have you already created a donation link? I will feel bad to use this engine without helping you... especially in a game where even trainer aircrafts are payware... Whith this you are showing ED that a dynamic campaign engine is actually possible! Let's hope that ED starts giving you some support, or even adapt some code to let you finish this and perhaps make this a payware module by itself Keep up the great work

I know that switching between builds isn't a thing that the user will do very often... but even so, I think that we should have that option in the menus. BTW, are we going to have an open alpha everytime a new map is released??
-
The problem is exactly with open alpha... because I bought the NTTR and I didn't try it yet because I'm not in the mood to buy another HDD just for two DCS installs... IMO, it would be better to have the revert option in the game options. Even knowing that it means a huge download to revert back from open alpha. Please, take this into account. I didn't know about the revert app by skatezilla, going to give it a try... Thanks alot for the quick reply
-
Why do we have to install the game twice in order to try the beta/alpha versions? It would be more inteligent from ED to do it like in Arma 3. There you just have to select the "allow beta builds" checkbox to try them... Having two different folders takes a huge ammount of space from the HDD...

Leatherneck Simulations New Years Eve Update
RNeves replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
Thanks for the update! To be honest, I wasn't expecting the 2 remaining aircrafts to be announced... But seeing this update leaves me thinking that the announcement could have been done before. I say this because some months ago you said that you wanted to make a proper announcement, with some art in it or something like that... That said, of the three announced modules, only the F4 suits my taste. -
Looks like the Viggen is going to be released for real... Hope that the F4 is the other one, because that's the only module of the upcoming 3 that fits my taste... Merry Christmas!!!

Leatherneck Simulations Mini-Update - SEPTEMBER 2015
RNeves replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
They say its good for november... Maybe we get to know what aircrafts are in production by January then.... -
I seriously hope that this aircraft is not one of the two still unannounced ones.... Becaise if it is, of the 3 aircrafts to be releassed by LNS, it will join the F14 on my "not to buy list" And BTW, do we really need a thread like this?? :D

Leatherneck Simulations Mini-Update - SEPTEMBER 2015
RNeves replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
If it is to say that there is nothing to say, I'm ok without any "mini updates".... It is better to say something only when there's something new to say.... -
You can't compare Flaming Cliffs modules with ASM modules... There's no 4th gen russian counterpart for the 4th gen NATO fighters in development... At least that we are aware of... And IMO that will be the gap to fill once M2000 and F18C are released... Honestly, despite the fact of prefering NATO fighters, I'd love to see some russian ones to fight against.
-
I don't think tuthe tornado has new methods os propulsion... And I hope that none of the aircrafts is a 2 seater.... It is better when we don't depend on AI to fight properly... The aircraft that fits the best on the description is the harrier... at least for me
-
IMO RSS will not bring anything new to DCS as F18 has it IIRC and it is already being developed by ED... I'd bet on thrust vectoring or something like that... But I hope to see the F16 available too!
-
And where do you fit the "new or unique methods of propulsion or force distrubution" on the F16? I'd love to see my country's fighter in DCS too... But it sounds unlikely for now...
