  1. Thanks Red not sure if I have that soft of a touch!:music_whistling: I do have a question regarding the rubber mouse control x/y axis. I am trying to prgram the Scan Zone Up Shift+; and Scan Zone down Shift+. to mode 1 + pinkie. I like to use this control the radar in the F15 to scan 0-20 miles, 10-30 miles etc. However when I hit the button up or down it only moves a notch a time. I want it to slide up smoothly and quickly. I programmed it this way for my X45 it worked perfectly. Any ideas how to make the command work continuously until I stop pressing the mouse x/y axis? I programmed the target designator this way in non pinkie (commands , / ; . ) and it flows quickly around the radar box. I can't understand why I can't get the Scan Zone to act in the same manner.
  2. Gentlemen, thank you for your input. I have almost completed my profile.:joystick::book: (Real life gets in the way!) If anyone is interested I would be glad to share it.
  3. Yes thank you for sharing! Where can I find pilot skins like yours?
  4. Has anyone worked out a good use for the second switch attached to the trigger?
  5. Wow, plugged the stick into my laptop to set up the profile. There are so many more buttons to use which is great. The added ability to change the colour of the buttons etc, is cool stuff. I look forward to programming it and getting airborne.
  6. Yes Saitek pedals came with SST software. I found with the x45, I needed to be using the same SST update to operate them together. I assume the latest X52pro update takes this into account. Axis, etc is adjusted in game.
  7. My pedals are the saitek pro flight pedals. I had no issue with my x45 and these pedals. Does the new software recognize the flight pedals?
  8. I use rudder pedals. Was it a big deal to eliminate the "swivel stick" as rudder control? Do you all think the latest set of drivers are worth it, since I am starting from scratch?
  9. Thank you gentlemen. I will check them out. Redeagle, why are you not using the new drivers?
  10. I enjoy my X45, but I was recently given an X52 Pro as a gift. Does anyone have a LOMAC profile for the X52Pro with documentation they would like to share? Also, can anyone tell me what the real differences are between the X52 and the X52Pro? Thanks for the input.
  11. All I know is Teddy, Mike and I ran into a wall of 8 bandits over the ocean south of the strait. Teddy, our fearless flight lead fought bravely but was over whelmed by shear weight of numbers. Mike and I launched everything we had with no result. Upon RTB it was all over!!! Well done Blue. I look forward to participating in more of these. Thank you to the committee for organizing these events. It requires a great deal of time and dedication. Thank you again.:prop: PS: I decided to try a solo mission at the end and I chased Max all over sky. Fired everything I had from as close as 3nm. I have never seen anyone do gymnastics with an aircraft before. Well done Max, I thought I had you!!!!!
  12. Bobby, are you using a Force Feed Back Sidewinder 2? If so do you use a profile for LOMAC? The reason I ask is I have a good friend who uses the FFS2 stick and he needs a profile for the stick. If you have the stick profiled could I get a copy of it for my friend?
  13. Thanks Kuky, I will try it out and let you know what I find. Thanks again.
  14. Yes for lock on. If you have settings for IL2 post them as well. I have two different settings for these games. Lock on does not like the IL2 settings.
  15. Thanks Mustang. Kuky, could you post for me your settings for the 3870X2. I would like to compare to mine. Thanks in advance.
  16. Ooh new drivers. Been very busy at work. I have to set them up later today and let you know the results. I found a marked increase in fps with .5. Mustang what cards are you referring to for the hotfix? Thanks for posting.
  17. Well done GA and crew. "Gunzo" sounds like lock on porn!:megalol: Can we add blondes with gunzo's next time? How do you guys do this stuff?:joystick: Enjoyed it, well done.
  18. Thanks for keeping an eye on this Mustang. I have noticed a marked increase in frame rate and what I believe an improvement in picture quality. Frame rates appear to have increase 25%. My card is the 3870X2. There also appears to be less anomolies present Thanks again.
  19. If it were original equipment, the Russians did a nice job keeping secret all of these years!
  20. My 2 cents. I have come to really enjoy this game and this community. Having been, and still am, a long time IL2 pilot and FA squad member, I have always said what is lacking in the LOMAC servers is mission objectives and team goals to "win" the map and rotate to another mission/map. I have no idea how LOMAC works as it relates to missions on servers etc, but I enjoy IL2 for this reason. There are many servers that promote team goals and the drive by all on comms, and there are many on comms, to win the map. Objectives and team work gives all concerned a much better experience ground targets with cover etc. This community is just as competetive as others I have flown with and I think servers would benefit by objective based and team oriented missions. Like I said, my 2 cents.
  21. Love the Majors callsign "Hooters"!:megalol:
  22. Nscode, I would assume Speed Brake "Max 7 Min" means only can be extended for 7 minutes. I will be glad to ask him for any answers to questions concerning the Mig. They just purchased it. It is in flying condition. The person they recently highered to run their company was an F18-A pilot for a number of years as well as Commander of the Snowbird aerobatic team. You can see where they will get their lessons on jets.:music_whistling:
  23. Eurofor you have a good eye. The simple explanation is the photo is of his brother and so my friend put his head on his brothers body so he could give me permission to post the photo. If you look closer at my post you will notice I added the "Proud Owner" photo later for this reason. I can assure you this is the real deal. I do not need justification of this story to feed my ego.:music_whistling: I merely posted this to share life experiences.
  24. Both aircraft are air worthy. interesting to note, I asked him what about the ejection seats in the L29, he told me they took them out since it cost $65K/year to maintain them. As far as speed goes it my understading that since both of these aircraft are subsonic there are no other restrictions on them other than what Canadian law allows.
  25. He and his brother also own a Bell 228B helicopter as well. I have been fortunate enough to receive a couple of lessons in the chopper. We even hovered it over my house in town. Good thing the no one reported us! Sure got my neighbours attention.:megalol: Hopefully the opportunity will come to go up in the MIG, or Dolfin. I asked him what he was going to do with the Dolfin, he said they are "building up their own airforce". They just purchased the Mig knowing these guys they will make improvements.
