While flying a small grey spec appeared against the panel of my cockpit coming the opposite direction as it got closer to my stick I rolled right and a friendly aircraft appeared in line with the dot. In other words I could see his dot through the floor of my cockpit. I wasn't sure if this is a known issue or not but thought I would mention it.

Gift Certificates are the way to go. With Christmas around the corner my family want ideas for gifts for me. I would likely have all of the aircraft by now if gift certificates were available. A real opportunity exists here to sell more aircraft. Prepaid cards accounted for over $200 billion in the United States in 2014, per Forbes magazine. DCS you are missing out on a real opportunity to increase sales. Take it from an old retailer, gett'r done!

Tested this offline and did not have the same experience. Seem to be ok. Also found on the Burning Skies server that when the server sends the Targets Remaining message the cursor disappears.

I had this happen on a repeatable basis today in Multiplayer. I fly using one 27" monitor and another 27" monitor to view TS, voice attack etc. I found that when the chat window opens my mouse disappears. If I move the mouse to the second monitor then back to the monitor I am flying on it will reappear, but not all the time. Sometimes I have to keep opening and closing the chat/info window for the mouse to show up. I have not tried this off line since I do on my flying in multiplayer. When I exit multiplayer and return to the main screen I don't have a cursor and have to exit using task manager.

Thanks for the info. Am aware of the frame hit. I must say enemy aircraft more difficult to spot at distance in 3D. I use voice attack software to turn 3D off as needed.

Nvidia 3D Glasses do not function in 1.5. To make them work in 1.2xx I would delete the Profile for "Digital Combat Sims - Black Shark" using Nvidia Inspector and it would work. Now when I try to delete the profile it somehow returns to the Nvidia Profiles. I realize after updating the Nvidia Drivers the profile will be reinstalled and requires for it to be deleted again. Do I need to alter the Black shark profile? Thank you in advance for your input.

Thanks. Got it to work by deleting the "Digital Combat Sim Black Shark" Profile using Nvidia Inspector and it worked. My old GTX 570 is struggling so good thing my upgrade to GTX 970 is here shortly.

Runs fine in BMS Falcon. I don't get any depth of field in DCS so therefore no 3D. Can't upload changes file to Nvida Inspector after numerous attempts. Where do I get the .Nip file?

Hi gents, I have tried this fix however I cannot import the changed file. Tried multple times. Does the file name have to be a specific name? Trying to get Nvidia 3D Vision 2 to work in DCS P51. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the input. I think I may be dealing with a conflict between my profile and the game. Without selecting a profile I was able to set the scan zone in game to my hat switch. I have found that other micros I set up are not working as well. It seems to me that something I have programmed is causing a conflict. Thanks again Jetace I will try and see what happens.

Hello all, I have used the mini stick on the throttle of my x52 Pro for scan zone by holding down the pinkie shift then moving the mini stick up, down, left right. It worked well in 1.12. FC2 will not recognize this macro. I have tested the macro using a text file and I receive the appropriate symbol, i.e. rshift+ / = ? and rshift + , = <. When I hold down rshift+/ via keyboard the radar in the russian birds looks right, yet the mini stick won't work. I have tested rshift + / and rshift + , using other switches and still it is not recognized. The mini stck works fine for the target designator. What am I missing?:joystick: Thanks for the help.

Wow! Thank you to the developers. A real improvement. I uninstalled the original version 1.2, (I think), using Modman 7.1 and used the exe file and it went off without a hitch. I was marvelling how much better it looks than the stock model. All of you modders give the game new life each time you release a new improvment. Thanks again! PS. Come on Borchi, time to show your stuff with that new F15!!!:smilewink:

I installed 9.4 about 10 days ago. I find that 9.1 works better. 9.4 looks nicer with deeper colours and less artifiacting, but the problem I have had is that straight lines, like the MFD display grid, appear jagged. I go to desk top and change the AA up to 8, while in game, seems to fix the problem. Also I play a great deal of IL2 and it seems to have given my fps a hit. Will have to try the 9.5 beta. Mustang do you do anything special for Open GL games? I am using a HD3870x2, E8400 OC-3.8.

When you play with the in game settings in Lock On it disrupts Trackir. After you make changes in game under the "Options" area you must then go into your root game folder and open your "Config" folder and delete the trackir file you see. Then goto the Input folder open it and delete the trackir file there. When you restart the game trackir will work. It is a frustrating bug that has never been addressed. I use the X52 Pro and Saietek Pedals. I have the "Zoom" feature mapped to the slider on the throttle. Make sure the "Z" axis in your Trackir profile is turned off as well. That is if you wish to use the slider for manual control of zoom. I prefer manual zoom over the Trackir zoom. Hope this helps

For the hell of it I uninstalled 9.2 driver and put 9.1 in and what do you know, perfect! I liked the landscape colour and water colour 9.2 seem to provide, but the edges being slightly uneven was making me crazy. In external view it seem to make the aircraft look a little fuzzy. Next I will reinstall 9.2 again and see what happens. Any input is gratefully received.:thumbup:

I have an issue with horizontal and vertical edges looking somewhat jagged? I have been messing with the CC controls. At times the display is clean and when I shutdown and restart the game the little jagged buggers are back. Example the grid lines on the radar display appear out of line unless zoomed in tight. Any suggestions as to the settings I should use for AA, AF, AI, etc etc?
