I fly IL2 with the Fallen Angels Squadron, for the past 4 years, http://www.fallenangelssquadron.com/. It is by far the best WWII flight sim out there. A very active community, many squadrons, even real WWII pilots to speak to, for example just last night Art Feidler, a P51 pilot and Ace was on our comms to chat and tell us about the real deal of WWII combat. Currently there are a number of mods, with a large part of the community now flying 4.09b1. New sounds, aircraft, etc. This mod/patch is unofficial. However, the hacked 4.09b1 have breathed new life into the sim and I would suggest anyone interested in WWII aviation to go out and buy it, you will not be disappointed. Just as the LOMAC Community was desperate for Black Shark the IL2 community is desperate to see "Storm of War" (Battle of Britain), we hope it lives up to its billing!

I will keep this suggestion in mind. I believe I have solved the problem with a great deal of messing around with shift, curve. Thanks again for your suggestions.

Is it fact that you must delete stick axis references in the game keyboard settings as not to create a conflict with SST software? The stick is very accurate in IL2. My X45 did the same thing in Lock On. Which makes me believe I have a software conflict. I am open to any input. RVE-AS, to be clear, you suggest I hold down a key that is not programmed to reset while in game? Thanks for the help.

Anyone have any idea why the pitch control on my X52-pro is very touchy? My X45 did the same thing. I have tried the following. 1. Adjusted deadzones 2. Reinstalled Drivers 3. Removed any flight controls from in game setting applied to keyboard etc. 4. Adjusted curve in LOMAC When I intitially installed the drivers the stick was very accurate. It continues to be very accurate when I play IL2. I can't help but think there is a conflict between the in game settings and the SST Profile settings but I have not found the smoking gun.:joystick: Not a huge issue, only when I need to be accurate when going GUNS. Input is appreciated.

I have an X45 profile I used until I received the X52 Pro. It is a dat file since the pro files did not seem to work well for the x45. The profile worked well for me in all aircraft save the SU25. Since I do not fly it much.:smilewink: PM me and I will email it to you. Sorry I may have misunderstood, do you want a profile for LOMAC?

I have the Saitek Pedals. I have not had any problems with them. The tension dial is a nice feature.

To clarify, FF Punisher has informed my that the helmet skins are not Walmis compatible.

Thanks RT, I saw that post however FF Punisher said this Hello! The fact that our skins helmet with the Walmis F - 15 Mod is compatible can not be. Since some of these pilots have installed mod and also the helmet skins. That is why it works beautifully. I want you to point out that the Help & Support ONLY in our forum! Perhaps FF Punisher could alloborate.

Well tried to reinstall using modman and manually. No work. I use Walmis F-15 maybe FF Punisher can elaborate on how it can be used with the Walmis F-15 and Russian aircraft Another thought, I have an HD3870x2 card. Is this an ATI issue?

A Canadian production that didn't suck! I watched it when it was released on Discovery Channel Canada in February. It is a very good show. It follows the trials and tribulations of Canadian Aviators trying to make the grade in the F18A. It was well done. Yes it was a Hgih Def production.

Yes you can change the colours, thanks Peyoteros, which is a neat feature. You can change the button colours in XP-Pro as well.

Well I resolved my problem with changing the radar high/low scan on the F15 radar. I simply set the delay for the micro to "0". Now the radar altitude slides up and down quickly and smoothly. My profiles works well for, F15, A10, SU33, M29, SU27. I have not tested it with the SU25. If anyone would like to try my profile just pm me.:joystick:

I never owend an X52 but I went from an X45 to X52-Pro. I have completed my profile and I am really enjoying it. I find it very accurate especially when firing guns. The stick accuracy feels and appears to be miles ahead of my X45. The accuracy is very noticable in IL2 when it is vital get the pipper on target. I had difficulty in getting the radar of the F15 to change scan modes up and down quickly. However I recently found by changing the delay of the macro to 0 the scale now slides up and down smoothly and quickly.

Tried ModMan install received the follwoing error message; PILOT-USA-AF-OKRAS.BMP (2048*2048 does not match original text size (256*256) so it has been installed to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\Bazar\TempTextures\ PILOT-USA-HOLE.BMP (512*512) does not match original texture size (32*32) so it has been installed to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\Bazar\TempTextures\ I had a simular problem with the M29 fuel tank. I had to resize the bmp file.

Modman install, great! Didn't realize it was a Modman install. Thank you.

Congrats JEFX and Happy Birthday! The great thing about that setup is you can watch the HABS on one screen and the LEAFS on another on a winters Saturday night and still be flying!:thumbup: Looks fantastic, I only have 5 years to go brother. Hello gents, I no longer have this problem. Changing the aspect ratio did it for me. However there was something else I did, but I'll be dammed if I can remember what it was.:doh: This is what happens when you get over 40. I will keep thinking and try to remember what else I did. I can add one more thing. Go into the game set the graphics settings you want then go into the grahpics config and set your ratios. Save the new config as is then right click on the config and set that file as read only. This will prevent the grpahics from changing everytime you go into the settings menu in game. For some reason each time you go into the settings in game it returns to defaults. Something else you can try is turn down video cards anitistrophic filtering and Anti Aliasing. That may give you some relief.

All I have to say is....................RUGGALISHESS! Rugg is a real contributor to the community. He has helped me on numerous occasions. Its time to take the high road and see him back as a part of these forums and this community.:thumbup:
