  1. WOW! Amazing!! Thanks so much :)
  2. Just played War Thunder recently, and the Bf 109 and Fw 190 cockpits look waaay bigger than in DCS. Really weird. Feeling wise I would say that the War Thunder cockpits are closer to reality, for example I have the feeling that I have to stretch my arm 2/3 to reach the switches whereas in DCS it's about 1/3 and really small. BTW @ everybody: download WT just for fun, it's free and worth it - you can check out the cockpits of almost every WW2 plane which is great fun and occupied me about 3 hours yesterday. Just click on the premium planes and choose "test flight" and you can fly around (with more than shitty FM though) and test them. I recommend the Pe-2 and the "Zero" - really great cockpits and sense of being there. Bombers don't have a cockpit though. But other than that and considered it's free it's relly really great.
  3. +1 labels should be customizable both in color and size. I think they are way too big and too much information. Red dot for example would be cool...
  4. Hey Apache, just saw your other thread... well it's a bit of a bummer that I just bought the Mig, but now that I have it I see it as an investment for you guys to continue on making such cool planes and campaigns :) Maybe I even become a Mig pilot eventualy... never say never ;) News on the kneeboard sounds extremely good, hope you guys can figure out something in the future! Would help the immersion a lot! Untill then I'm off to my next mission - looking forward! The writing, maps and screenshots add so much to the experiance! Cheers and thanks, Sputnik
  5. Haha I bought just yesterday the Mig only to play the campaign... well, I see it as an investment in further great campaigns (from you?) Cheers and keep up the good work!
  6. Flew today my first mission (couldn't resist and bought the Mig just to be able to fly the campaign with my F86) in VR and it was one of the best experiance I've had for a long time! :) Very pleased with the campaign so far, if it continues like this I will be extremely happy!! Although since I can't write stuff down (because VR) I'd love to see individual Kneeboards... Thanks for the superb work!!
  7. And HAHA! I felt so stupid in front of my screen :) I just did it for some tests, but I went back to VR immediately. I will never "sim" without VR again, kind of a strange feeling that those days are over, now after 15+ years of simming, don't you think? Or do you guys still sometimes fly 2D here and there? (disclaimer: I have no tripple screen setup or anything, just a 27 screen and TrackIR)
  8. Hi, I'm wondering if there's some reference material of what to do on the new Nevada map. Such as training docs with routes and information on where to train with ground targets and such? I love the map but only did "artificial" stuff and sight-seeing around it so far but like to dig in deeper now and set up some actual training missions for my F-86 Sabre (in order to be ready when I finaly be able to fly "Museum Relic" without owning the Mig...) Do you guys have some links for me? Thanks, Sputi
  9. Can you post a link to your twitch channel? Can't find you over there and love to watch! thx
  10. I'd like to have that option too. The scale seems about right but when I enable the pilot my hands and such feel rather tiny... so I'd like to play arround a bit with that option. Shouldn't be hard to implement anyway.
  11. just turn "cockpit help" (or alike) off in the game settings. @MadDog - alt Enter did the trick :)
  12. Has anyone tried to fly this campaign in VR? Since I only fly VR lately, but I wish to play this campaign (as soon as it only recommends not both planes to actually fly it...) and I am a bit concerned about all the navigation and probably VFR stuff or hour long dogfights or whatnot that could stop a VR player from finishing a mission? Has anyone experienced issues about that? Thanks Sputi
  13. Hmm actualy no, but I thought that since the latest patch the cursor was trapped in the window screen.... Thought I read that somewhere. Will try the Alt-Enter thing though, thanks Mad Dog!
  14. I just noted that they've added a "VR" preset in the graphics settings. Nice, it works pretty good for me.
  15. For lack of resolution I'd love to see a "label" by mouse-over which shows me the gauge's values like in FSX. Would be very helpful... Oh and by the way does anyone else have the issue, that when you look rather downwards and hold your head idle for about 2 secs the marker disappears an you have to move your head a bit up again for it to reappear? It's a bit annoying...
  16. Yup same here, I'd like to see a snap zoom as well. Any ideas?
  17. Hi there, wanted to buy the Museum Relic Campaign just to learn that I have to have BOTH the F86 (which I have) and the Mig15 (which I don't).Why is that? I only want to fly the campaign with the F86 anyway. Unfortunately I've missed the 40% off deal which I would have taken advance of but now I'm forced to buy a 50$ plane only to fly the campaign with an Aircraft I already possess? Does make little sense to me... or did I miss something? Thanks Sputi
  18. @ svetlano: there's an "UI" command section in command options where you can bind mouse key (left and right) to every HOTAS key you want.
  19. Go to command options in DCS and on top left scroll to "UI" commands and there's the option to set up mouse click (left and right) to whatever joystick button you want. Works perfectly fine! Cheers
  20. I have "labels on" on my thumb button, so I can quickly click it and see where the targets are, then re-cklick and turn the labels off and know exactely where the targets are - also use zoom for closer look.
  21. Someone else also having the kneeboard still buggy in VR? It flickers all the time and it's impossible to navigate by it. Thought the patch brought the fix...?
  22. I have a very similar system, also the 970 and VR works perfectly.
  23. Congrats for a very good podcast! Really enjoy what you do, looking forward to evety episode. Only critic I have is that you guys talk so few about WW2 warbirds in DCS;) Other than that, very very cool, hope you are here for a long time to stay! :) cheers
