Both were used on Doras, duralumin and plywood ones. Late war german planes such thing as "always" didn't exists Panels were supposed to be wooden but different subcontractors, already done stocks and other variables meant both versions were used until the end.

Thanks a lot again your work SABOT! Way better than before now. About leather and gauge colors, they were supposed to be black but i believe it was kinda same story as exterior colors, it was depending of wich sub-contrator was manufacturing the parts. So possibly also brown leather was used sometimes (at least that was the case with TA 152).

This is how Dora cockpit was in early screenshots when it was still WIP. Colors were great...same thing with K4. Why ED changed RLM 66 to light bueish gray later stays mystery to me.

Whow, really good job on this cockpit update! I'm glad i did the bug report about flare shield back then, i didn't think they would correct it so "soon". Yes, as we all know in DCS universum 2-3 years is really fast Funny that there is no mention in update logs...Anyway, many thanks to ED for this one.

I have exactly same problem as VirusAM. No matter what i do, it's always laggy/stuttery in DCS, even with low settings. Both il2 and fs 2020 runs nice and smooth but no joy with dcs. My 'puter is i7-11700k/RTX 3090/32gb ram, i believe it should be enough for decent performance with medium/high settings? With old rifth dcs was smooth with almost all settings maxed out.

Agreed. A8 and Dora sounds are probably weakest in game currently. A8 is good in cockpit (altought some more bass wouldn't hurt there too), dora is outdated both interior and exterior. And yes i know there is no proper Jumo 213 samples available currently.

Yes, i know it's not Picos fault as il2 and FS2020 are running fine and holy f*cke wulf, they look beautiful after years of low res cv1 Just can't figure out why dcs refuses to start in vr now...tried that exe fron bin folder but still same problem... Edit. lol it was stupid pilot error after all, last time when oculus was about to die i switched to monitor mode and didin't check it now because i was so sure it was in vr mode already Now it works, thanks for the help anyway. Next thing is to figure out if i can start it with oculus runtime instead of steam vr.

There is small error in Antons cockpit 3d model, or rather in the shield above gauges. It should be tapered to backwards (probably to give better view for front sides ). In DCS Dora it's done correctly but in A8 it's dead straight from front to back. Therefore top part of shield is few centimeters too wide, giving it weird appreance. i don't have original bluprints in my hands but i'll add some screens for back up. .

New Pico user here. What i am doing wrong? I have -VD streaming running -VD for pico running - force enable vr on shortcut But when i click DCS it starts in vd mode, like a big screen but not in real VR? Il2 works like it should.
