So Artificial Horizon is complete all function tested. I just need to make final test of all function together and with upper instrument panel. It is not 100% copy of original, It was necessary to simplified little bit design due the different functionality requirements. In general I am satisfied...:) I will post a video of final test later on...

Are you sure your assumption is right??? Problem is the same document is showing the position of SWA10 on the left side of bottom instrument panel(see picture) Also I didnt find any cable connecting SWA with switch and there are all cables in ersatztaile liste. I have study SWA 10 manual just roughly but I haven't find option to connect SWA10 with 3 position switch in schematics, I need more time to study this.... I really want to help you to make it right, that is why I am asking...:pilotfly:

Here are the promised photo sorry for quality I do not have possibility to scan them right now so I have made them with my mobile phone.... You can see it is part of base plate with hole for switch... Those letters with numbers R30 and S1 was made by service crew to easier identify the instrument panels components in electrical schematics... It was more or less standard in FW 190, only the amount of use was not the same.... btw. NASM Fw 190F-8 is Rüstsätze kit R1...

That was also my fist idea but If I have understand the ersatzteile liste right SWA 10 was installed instead of fug 25 (see my previous post). Also I have in books some pictures from NASM F-8 where is clearly visible it is not a device but just one hole in base plate with turn switch (in bottom probably with some text plate - that is missing in NASM F8 )...I will try to scan that photo when I will have time...

This seems to me like F8 not A8 cockpit. Upper instrument is really specific for fw 190F series - fl50834 This middle console is really weaponry dependent you can find many variation, also some without it (without bombs you dont need it)...

Thx for all you kind comments guys... Altimeter is finished and on final place, it was really challenging construction with 3 steppers... Debugging was really time consuming and also some improving of the design was needed :) An here it is in action:

So current status...All axis connected and tested. Bottom instrument panel and both consoles final assembled and tested :pilotfly:... Head armour painted and tested(movement with linear actuator) so closing canopy in DCS will move head armour to right place :music_whistling: Now I am finishing altimeter, it consist of 3 steppers and some mechanisms. Al function already tested (km indicator, m indicator, bar indicator).... HSI construction almost finish, preparing parts for printing... Also I have almost all material for my projection frame...

It is not a method. Tekkx made kind a communication PCB where you insert one or two NANOs and then you can simply connect more of them with master PCB based on MEGA... Method is still RS485 communication using MAX487 chip...As I wrote it is plug and play solution... You can contact him and buy some... If you want to do everything by your self there are few threads in this section of forum about RS485...like this one

It is oxygen flow indicator. Changing colours (kind of moving membrane) from black to white and back when oxygen flow is present. Same is in the FW190D... When you close oxygen valve it stops moving...

Yes I am using this way of communication in my pit (mega as master and nanos)... But I am using ICB from Tekkx where you simply insert two nanos and connect to master or another ICB by normal network cable. Take look here... Easy plug and play solution....

I think light-shadow-angle of photography have made this kind of shape :music_whistling:.... Same aircraft after 60 years....

For effect what Tekkx mentioned you need to edit spitfire.lua in dcs bios directory. I don't have it (it is not part of my DCS bios) so as example here is line from fw190D.lua for same function: defineTumb("STARTER_CVR",2, 3006, 104, 1, {0,1}, nil, false, "Cockpit", "Starter Switch Cover") {0,1} - you need to change, my estimation is {1,0} but I am not sure Aditional info here Try it and let us know....

Thx for all your kind comments guys. Linear micro servos from China have arrived so I have finished my oxygen flow indicator. Bottom instrument panel is complete :drink: With 3d printer in my workshop things are more easy so I have started work on ammo counters, simply belt mechanism should made the job :). Prototype on the picture below...

So small progress on lower instrumental panel. I have added radiator controls and some other stuff. Still oxygen flow gauge missing, I have order linear micro servos for it... In general I have done all the soldering/connection on lower instrumental panel and also debugging and testing. I will post video how it is running later on :).... P.S. During these days is crazy hot in Slovakia around 35°C so soldering was really pain....:cry_2::cry_2::cry_2:

Thanks for all the info... To be honest I was first thinking to make the frame by my self using bosh profiles 20X20 and laser cutted wooden parts. I can make it open able in middle and easy transportable... Problem is the black projection screen that I will probably need to order from simpit if the guy will want to sell it independent...Or I will use classic black polycarbonate and than I will paint it with special black projection paint for example like this ....Problem is to find the polycarbonate with 4 meter lenght....:music_whistling:

Hi Guys, In next few moths I will complete my FW190D pit. Now I know I will go to simpit centurion 270 as display solution. What I also know I need new Pc to handle that. This is my idea now: CPU: AMD RYZEN 7 2700X (YD270XBGAFBOX) Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX X470-F GAMING (90MB0XH0-M0EAY0) GPU: GIGABYTE AORUS GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition 11G (GV-N108TAORUS X-11GD) Memory: G.SKILL 32GB KIT DDR4 3200MHz CL14 Trident Z (F4-3200C14D-32GTZ) Disk: Samsung 970 PRO 512GB (MZ-V7P512BW) and other stuff not so important to mention.... Question is can this setup manage the runnig DCS in 5760x1080 resolution(3x projector )??? What is crucial with what level of details ??? It is necessary to go to SLI for GPUs???:dunno: P.S. If I will need go to SLI probably I will go to 1080Ti GPU if SLI will be not necessary I will wait for new 1180 GPU...I am not in hurry with this....
