  1. But then you have to press it all the time! I don´t understand why are you saying to fight with AP on? Is it because if you need to do something with the left hand you leave the cyclic where it is and he will fly alone? Regards.
  2. I would assume that if you are making an attack run on the target you should not use the AP... but that just my common sense talking. Why would you use AP in an attack run with rockets? It is obvious to me that if you have those AP modes engaged it will be very difficult to align with anything because you are forcing AP and AP is forcing the aircraft to maintain the trim assigned. So my advice is, if you are not in a hover search with Shkval and attack targets with Vikhr do not use AP to make attack runs. Personally I only use AP in cruise or in hover when I am searching and attack targets from a hover other than that I don´t use it. And it´s better if you have to avoid SAMs to not have AP on. Best regards and hope I helped you.
  3. Really nice video! Can someone do some video demonstrating the FM dynamics and capabilities, like passing VNE, VRS, autorotations, negative G loads, etc... The one I encounter the other day was the VNE!!! It was really cool. In a normal helicopter you would lose lift in one of the sides (depending if CCW or CW rotor) and roll to that side in the Ka50 as it is coaxial rotors one of the blades of the lower rotor touched the other blade of the upper rotor! It was really cool. Maybe someone could make one video showing this amazing capabilities of this simulation. That will be great to show to some people I know. Best regards.
  4. Hey man... I read on the manual that you can even hear the Maikop´s radio! Select VHF1 to AM and switch to 125.675. Within 70Km of Maikop radio tower you will hear the local radio! LOL CRAZY STUFF! Now we are talking about simulation. LOL Best regards.
  5. You are right! Sorry my mistake. The canopy of F22 doesn´t even open like that. The cockpits in the future will be all glass ones... Bah... Like most the old times... Here you have a Su37 next gen; It´s cleaner... bah... But I don´t like those glassy ones. Best regards and thank you for correcting me. :pilotfly:
  6. Second that!
  7. Jesus!!! Some comments here are really harsh! If you need so bad the top notch graphics go fly FSX! I am sure if you do not put the things to the maximum detail it will be ok. Why having shadows that are not viewable and hit FPS? (so go to settings and disable it) Why having reflections on water if it makes the same thing as the water without reflections? (disable it!) In my humble opinion the graphics are important for a flight sim but only a bit! Flight model, systems, it´s much more important to me. For example FSX has the ultimate graphics but it´s a unstable sim with a lot of bugs (this goes all for the rotary side) and it does not simulate what a helicopter do! I don´t fly FSX anymore and I´ll not do it. If you ever looked at a professional helicopter simulator you will see that the more important things are not the visual but are the systems and flight model. So just put down your settings it won´t bite you. Some guys here are requesting graphics or worry about graphics someone even questioned the helicopter hitting the trees... Or you guys are blind or you don´t read the threads neither FAQ! DCS: BS it will be the best combat helicopter sim and if it was civil it would be the best too! Now... Don´t worry so much with the graphics and FPS there is always a way of putting the FPS stable and high (for me high it´s constant at 30+). Regards.
  8. No, the one from Groove is from F-35. The one below from hOOt74 is from a F-22. Regards.
  9. Still I will buy it there. I prefer to have a DVD. It´s just buying right? You don´t have to do anything more? Thank you for your help, helping me. Best regards.
  10. Hi there guys, Grave how long did you wait? I am thinking of buying it where you did. Best regards.
  11. Hey guys, what do you advice me to do? Buy the downloading version or the boxed one? I think the boxed one is easier to do then the downloading version. What you guys think? Thank you a lot, best regards.
  12. I have to talk to you urze! I have a X52 that I want to modify with your stuff, I´ll talk to you soon via PM. Thank you for your reply. OT: Do you still fly at HC? Regards.
  13. Thanks for the reply mate. So I guess the force feedback is implemented correctly. Assuming that the resistance in the cyclic is linear. In H53 how trim is set? Is via a button or POV? Regards.
  14. Oh man... You are a very bad person! Why you did that? Now I am .
  15. Mmm... Still when you fly at a speed you feel less forces on the cyclic right? It´s like a car with "assisted driving" (I don´t know if this is the correct term, it´s when a car has the wheel hydraulic assisted), you need less force to turn the wheel. So in a force feedback joystick you would not have a force pushing the joystick always to the center... I guess. So what I really want to know is how they write the FFB code, at least I think that you can control the FFB that way or the FFB joystick is always making force? I give you an example, I had a microsoft FFB2 joystick when you were flying a plank (plank = plane = in this case C152) in FS2004 when you were at the ground the movement of movable surfaces did not have resistance on the joystick but has soon as you start to roll on the runway and you start to create aerodynamic forces on the airfoil you started to feel the resistance on the yoke (joystick) that always try to get the airfoil with a relative angle of attack with the relative wind (regarding center of pressure on the airfoil). Hope you guys understand me. I am just curious if they simulate the FFB too in the sim. Best regards to all and thank you for your replies.
  16. Hi there guys. I am curious about how you guys simulate the force feedback. Is it non linear? Meaning that for example if the helicopter is on the ground if you move the cyclic and if you let it go it will stay on the same position? Or independently of the flying situation it will force always the joystick to the center? Or it only force joystick to go back when on forward flight? I don´t know if you understand my question, but for example, when a Bell 206 is at the ground with rotors stop if I move the cyclic and let it go it will stay on the same position, when the rotors are moving you feel the gyroscopic force (sorry I don´t know how to describe it) and when you move it, lets say in forward flight it will push the cyclic back (meaning that heli wants to go up). Thank you for your help and patience replying to the question. Best regards to all.
  17. Interesting discussion! In the future you can bet there will be a more safer way of saving life and airframe than doing autos or earlier ejection seats. But it´s now easy to implement, I think that it was a really nice piece of engineer to put the Ka-50 in the air not to talk with the addition of the ejection seat. Maybe if the system could be reformed, re-engineer, make it simple, etc could be more used. About autorotations, they are not a safety feature and you can´t call it that. It´s just a aerodynamic feature inherent to a rotating airfoil, in which the relative wind is what makes the airfoil turn without engine power, off course trading altitude for kinetic energy. Sorry if I was not so clear but sometimes I can´t recall things, to much CL´s and CD´s formulas in my head. But one thing is sure you cannot call it a helicopter safety feature, it´s like saying that ground effect is a helicopter performance feature. What you could say is that engineers study the aerodynamics in various ways and optimize the helicopters to have the best performance in autorotations. Just for example, just like they study and make the airfoil of a Lynx to achieve the speed record. Another thing is that all helicopters (at least the civilian, don´t know about the military ones) have to be able to autorotate. Of course that there is always the Height\Speed diagram (commonly known as deadman´s curve) for the specific helicopters but the number are not far from each model type of helicopter. But there are certain limitations and engineers always try to achieve balance between all of the different equations. I think I talked more than I wish for, sorry for that... I just enthusiasm myself. Anyway I think you guys should read this instead of wikipedia. Best regards and continue the great discussion.
  18. @Xjikz - Oh man don´t get me wrong... I am not here to complain about anything! Nor am I afraid or trying to explore or advice guys to cross the fingers! Is just curiosity. I think they are working hard at any vector, demo, bugs clearing, getting the licenses, replying the community, etc... I don´t have any idea of how big team is, but I am sure they have hands full. Now... They really spend time on Redtube on free time? LOL Regards.
  19. Hi there guys, Hope everything is fine with you all. I was just wondering now that the RU version is out and EN version is coming what are you guys doing? Correcting any bug at RU version for EN version? Working hard to get EN on the stores? Working hard on the next addon/version to get it finished earlier? Mmm... Take some long waited and deserved vacations on some paradisiac islands? Or just enjoying the Ka-50... or the next addon? :pilotfly: Just wondering with some curiosity! Best regards!
  20. Mmm... I hope I get a new KA-50 bird that was not written... In the HUD... By a bored pilot who did not remember the laser code for that mission!!! Anyway I will put some soap and water close by... Just in case. LOL I hope that was written with a pencil instead of being scribed! XD Very funny thread, best regards.
  21. Hi all, I´ve been thinking of some I would like to see which was never seen before in a combat flight simulator. And I came up with this idea; Maybe European combat helicopters in a European theater would be great. I can think of some combat helicopters that would be interesting seeing. For example MBB Bo 105P/PAH-1A1. Different type of helicopter from the regular combat helicopter. I think the systems are fairly simple comparing with some other more modern helicopters like Tiger or Apache. Another great helicopter that is simple too it´s the SA 342M Gazelle or SA 341B version. Another one that I think of it´s the Lynx and this one is a good example of one helicopter that could be used by Navy. AH.7 and maybe Lynx Mk.95 or some other navy variant. The great idea of making/using this helicopters is to take part of the multiple online crew (Pilot/CPG) and obviously being different but fairly simple helicopters. Has the SA 342M and Bo 105P/PAH-1A1 uses the same weapon system which is European HOT missiles you would have to make only a weapons system for both helicopters. For the Lynx I don´t know for sure if it can handle HOT I think Lynx carries the TOW, but again if you make a AH-1 (which is highly wanted, at least I think so...) this one will be armed with TOW´s too. Another factor is that easily you can have the manuals and tons of photos of those helicopters, which is an important factor considering your highly standards simulation in the DCS. You can even talk with pilots of this machines easily. Sorry for only speaking in helicopters but I know them better than planes. I don´t know what is your opinion about this idea but I surely would like to hear it. Thank you for your time and consideration reading my post. Best regards and I hope to fly DCS:BS soon!
  22. Hi there arneh, Just passing by to say that you do an amazing work! I flown a lot the AH-64 cockpit and the start up is just great considering the age of the simulation engine. With guys like you EECH is still one of the best modern helicopter simulations now day. Thank you very much for you work! Best regards. PS: Are you considering to make any more helicopter for EECH? If yes, can you tell me which one?
  23. I have this too and the problem is I have the latest drivers and the problem is still there...
  24. Hi there, For support go here. Regards.
  25. I mean MSFS by the same team that did the 206. Regards.
