  1. oh, for a second I thought you said you were playing casual games, I was gonna say, umm.... no DCS is not a casual game. :)
  2. This was a thread from the Russian side of the forums from 2012, and it had some screenshots of a WIP Su-34 Cockpit. What happened to it I wonder? http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1562628

Usually when I look through the server list, there are only ever 2 servers that are reasonably full: The virtual aerobatics, and 104th Phoenix. Are these really the only ones that are ever played with a decent amount of people, or do I just get on at the wrong times?
  4. I pick the B-29 Superfortress (specifically, the Enola Gay, with 1 little boy atomic bomb).
  5. I would like to thank you guys for your very incredible work, and for persevering when things looked bleak. P.S. I still have not had the funds to buy it yet, but I promise that I will get the MiG-21 as soon as I can.
  6. SO AWESOME!
  7. ummm........ okay. P.S. I am totally sure that nobody missed me and my utter strangeness.
  8. so, will the Flaming Cliffs 3 people get this update for free?
  9. umm, did you have the MiG-21 in the game? because there is a glitch with the MiG-21 that can cause incredibly low FPS.
  10. remember the scene from stargate continuum, when the f-15s were racing to the second stargate in russia, when they were intercepted by like 20 deathgliders, then like 12 MiG-29s came in and blew up the deathgliders. I really want to try and do that in DCS.
  11. umm, no, they all carried "...a complement of Armored Box Launchers and "shock hardened" Mk. 141 quad cell launchers. The former was used by the battleships to carry and fire the BGM-109 Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles (TLAMs) for use against enemy targets on land,..." also, Iowa was decommissioned in 1990, the Wisconsin and New Jersey were decommissioned in 1991, Missouri was decommissioned in 1992. all were sticken from the US naval register in 2006.
  12. umm, most USAF aircraft have not had refits since the 90s. And most modern missiles are designed to punch through 3/4 inch of armor and fragment, not to go through 16 inches.
  13. If DCS is still going the route of you being able to make all of your own scenarios, then I think that we should get some Battleships. Like the Iowa class for instance. All 4 were refit in the 1990s in order to counter the Russian Kirov class. they all have tomahawks, as well as CWIS, and those huge 16 inch guns. with close to 15 inches of armor, most missiles will not penetrate the hull.
  14. ...when you begin to dream in pixles
  15. Where did you get that AWESOME looking F-4????
  16. no kidding!
  17. Just got back from the airshow. Snowbirds are still going. They had to pause the performances like 4 times to accommodate CalFire planes. Highlights: T-33 trainer, Mock dogfight between A6M Zero, F-6 Hellcat, and a B-25 Bomber. CF-18 Demo, and, of course the Snowbirds.
  18. The only combat server I ever play on is the 104th, no other server seems to be as full.
  19. so, you guys stole the Blue Angels! :)
  20. I hear the snowbirds and an F-18 practicing right now!
  21. again, they never would have gone to the boneyards. Even if the USAF somehow was able to get rid of the, the USMC and the US Army have said that they will take them so their soldier will still have the support.
  22. So, maybe something more like: :) ????
  23. Well, it has been in the high nineties, and low 100s, but we are having some rain right now, it is around like 60 degrees. And Shasta college is looking brown, as the"drought" has put HUGE (and I mean huge, like misdemeanor and arrest for over watering) water restrictions on everything.
