Gotta say the external textures, especially the dark green p40 look great! Didn't really come accross in the live stream due to the lower resolution. The way the light catches on those rivet heads really impressed me.

It'll be an interesting module thats for certain! I'd be interested to know how the flight model will be validated as AFAIK no Ho229 flew? I personally loved the "what if" IL2:1946 scenario so perhaps the Ho229 will open up that possibility in DCS. Me262's and Ho229's vs Meteors and Vampires!

The problem is that the real things manuals say no recoil too and thats been discounted as "unreliable". What would be acceptable proof?

Thought: Can you fire rockets while on the ground? I think I've done it and I think I didnt shoot backwards several feet. I'm quite possibly mistaken, bad memory. Anyone fancy testing that? I'm away from home for a couple of days.

Even that kind of pod is open at the rear. I'd really like to see the recoil removed from the rockets in DCS. I love ground attack and it ruins it for me when the mustang swings wildly if you dont fire off 2 at once!

Thats a suggestion not a request for more updates. I mention VEAO because they are another third party dev who have probably given the most frequent progress updates and I personally think it's backfired a little. I think Razbam and Leatherneck especially have the balance right. I never said YOU feel entitled. I said I don't. This IS veering off topic though so yeah subject dropped from me.

I rarely ask for an update and never feel entitled to one. I think neilwillis is spot on in what he says. VEAO in paeticular have had a lot of grief from the community while trying to keep them updated. I would prefer if that didn't happen so much. Personally I'd rather see something every once in a while. And the devs not having to spend time defending their progress.

Well if they want better roll performance an f.21 22 or 24 would do the trick.... But that would be silly! Hopefully the mission editor option will work out. I know VEAO are investigating the possibility of it for their spit too!
