  3. The nozzles of planes should be animatable by using the arguments 89 and 90 (Nozzle shutters right/left engine). These args could be used to close (0) and open (1) the exhaust nozzles. Using several maps should be possible too. A dark map inside, for the closed nozzles (AB off), a light one for open nozzles (AB hot). Btw. the cones for the animated AB flame can be animatable scaled. So you need only one cone, small-sized at (0) increasing to 100 % at (1).

  5. The afterburners should be animated by using the arguments 28 (right engine) and 29 (left engine). You must have a second model (cone with AB texture) that's poping up on 1 28 Afterburning right engine ...0 Off ...........................................1 On 29 Afterburning left engine .....0 Off ...........................................1 On EDITED: Numbering of the plane should be arguments 31, 32 and 52 (a transparent texture sliding over a rectancle) 31 Flight #... (first digit) 0 to 1 With 0.1 increment 32 Aircraft#...(second digit)0 to 1 With 0.1 increment 52 Squadron #...(third digit) 0 to 1 With 0.1 increment
  6. Hi Mnemonic, thanks for this fantastic gimmick. It works fine with LockOn 1.12a, but it seems to me that Lomac's FPS are a little bit influenced. Is there a possibility to resize the VP's window? Nevertheless: GREAT WORK :thumbup: and I hope you will put in more gauges in the next versions. Together with zorlac's TouchBuddy this program will open new potentials to the LockOn community!

  9. Sorry guys, the 3D-Models from MS Flight Sim are stored in the mdl-files. (cfg is a config file) Aircrafts (an carriers) were modeled in 3DSMax or GMAx and converted into this Microsoft used format. The only chance for converting the carrier into LOM-format is to get the original 3D-Model. But I don't think that Microsoft will give it you for free to put it into an other simulation :smilewink:
  10. And all are totally new reworked, am I right? It seems that all the maintenace lables could be read. But what sense do such high resolution skins have for AI aircrafts? I've tried 2048'pix skins already for the Su-17 but finally came back to a 1024*1024 resolution. That's what really will be seen in the Simulation. For me higher resolutions only make sense on flyable aircrafts. Nevertheless, great job!

  12. A Luftwaffe-Skin for the F-4F could be made downloadable too (if wanted). I used this template (1024x1024) also for my 45-Jahre-Phantom. Look for example my "other" WTD61-F4: (Okay, the 99-number is painted on skin) http://www.muehlstaeff.de/lockon/mods/vorschau/vors/prev046.jpg There was also an alternative Skin for the PA-200 (in Tiger outfit) done by me. It looks good together with the new German nomera-black.tga

  15. in several forums you can find new textures for the AB effects. Download them and find the best textures or create new. Thats all you can do at the time.
  16. No, in the TempTextures-folder a pure BMP-file should work fine.
  17. I think that the 0-coordinate ist the right one! Did you use standard ore extended materials for your terminal? You always have to use standard materials for exporting to LOM. What resosutions have your BMP-files? Maybe that LockOn (like MS FlightSim) can only interprete bitmaps in 256, 512, 1024 and 2048 px-res. Have you converted them to DDS-BMPs ???
  18. Airbrakes (what arg ist the right one?) and Props won't work too. Maybe the wheel rotation needs the same animation method like the prop. I've tried some different ways to let them rotate, but until now without any success. But ailerons, canards and rudders work excelent in LockOn!
