You're confused. The Sabre is released as Open beta. The 1.2.9 however was released as stable version as of yesterday (25/7).

1.2.9 is not open beta. The Sabre is in open beta. I just updated my full DCS to 1.2.9...

People are already starting updating their DCS. Are we really gonna fly this on 1.2.8?

Great event guys! Feels nice to finally have a working event. Hopefully it'll be even more interesting the next time! :)

The SA-SIM mission was fairly light. No moving ground units, two target areas with a few air defence units each. Some Long range SAM sites and all the client planes. Only AI was AWACS and tanker on both sides.

If someone haven't figured it out yet: On the DCS website, log in and click on personal section and go to "my account" and register all your orders (find them under "my orders"). When you want to use it, go and buy the product and in the check-out section, check the box "Pay from internal account" to use your bonus credit.

All of us in the 51st noticed these issues as well yesterday, including our server. Don't know if it exists in SP, bit MP seems to be affected.

The caption said it was hunted by a Merlin (Helicopter) -> Good move (not for whales) :P

Not sure if it's been reported, but our latest flight from the Admiral Kuznetsov only let the Host rearm and refuel, the others didn't get anything. Not sure if this is related to the Admiral Kuznetsov ATC bug...

The trefoil symbol is usually used for ionizing radiation or radioactivity. Radar do not emit ionizing radiation... That's not to say other forms of EM radiation are safe... High powered microwaves can be pretty uncomfortable ;)

You say it like it's a bad thing... there's nothing better than to resolve a conflict over a good 4vs4 match ;-)

Most missiles that are trashed online is due to people extending. This trashes the missile no matter what seeker logic it has. If you wanna go by a Pk of 0.3 on online servers, keep this in mind. You could have a perfect seeker and flight dynamics, but you'd need a Saturn V rocket to increase the Pk online to RL numbers ( 0.6-0.8 ) :P

Comparing Case' Pk stats with RL is pointless because you have no knowledge of how it was employed.

Both RWR and IFF is not as accurate IRL as it is (and has always been) in FC. Right now, neither of these ever fails (not as in hardware failure, but failure to interpret) or even struggles, they are spot on every single time, no matter the range. It would be a very nice thing to introduce some kind of randomness to these, but I guess that is a long way ahead ;)
