  3. The COLD WAR Echo event has been moved to March 6th, 1400z!
  4. The event time has been set. Saturday, February 27th, 1400z
  5. Different plane or not, I still think the tail look the same on both, just that the angels are screwing with us.
  6. I think it's just an optical illusion caused by the angles. Certain angles from the "flying" vid corresponds with the runway test pic.
  7. Looking good :D
  8. My tactic in the 15 was to climb in AB at 10 degrees til i got half way on each leg. Then descend at 10 degrees at full mil power. The fuel just aint enough to be in burners all the way. At each airbase I excecuted insane high-g turns to loose speed. I suggest you check the track(s) to see what I mean... Cheers
  9. It's all about the fuel/burn. The F-15 has by far the best of the three. I did a test, flying at 2000m and full AB. - MiG-29S (3 tanks) reached 200km - Su-27 clean reached 230km - F-15C (3 tanks) reached 330km So the F-15 can use burners a lot more then the others. And according to this, Su-27 slightly more then the MiG, which is reflected on the results... :)
  10. I would like to thank my teammates for for support and discussing tactics. You guys helped me a lot! I would also like to thank Race Control for a great idea and making it happen. I hope the community can enjoy more of these "Not standard LO combat" challenges :D Cheers to all! :)

  14. Sent to Race Control!
  15. Mine will be sent tonite! :)
  16. On the vertical axis, you have the vertical speed and on the horizontal axis you have the speed of the aircraft. The different curves corresponds to different altitudes :) The numbers you can figure out yourself  By the looks of it, the F-15 enjoys a slight advantage at low to medium altitude, while up high, the F-15 has better climb. All this is in the Subsonic arena...
  17. Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  19. There was a way of creating templates in LO as well, just that it's a hell lot of more work to do it then in DCS... It's all in the Meinit.xml. You already have some templates, like SAM sites for example, and under those, if you're skillful enough, you can add your own, with your preferred units and formation/coordinates. Im not sure how to do it myself, but I remember some stuff on LockonFiles.com which basically gave you OSA sam sites and such. Might be worth looking into if you're desperate for it. http://www.lockonfiles.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&cid=184&lid=1131&ttitle=New_Car_Complexes#dldetails

  23. PA, can you draw a simple map in paint how the SAMs should be placed in such a corridor and also include the airbases. I would like to know what you mean/want to see... @Grimes: I noticed this to and it will be a real mess in MP when your AD is out of missile after one attack...
