  1. Didn't talk about it as they aren't ''bugs'', but +over 9000
  2. Well, to be fair, Su-27 was the 1st supersonic plane that received breakable wings from ED. If you think about it, M2K FBW stops it, the F-15 doesn't have enough hydro force to truly break them instantly...
  3. Je me rappel avoir vu un escadron canadien principalement québecois : http://5eevctest.weebly.com/la-5e-escadre.html Me semble qu'ils étaient plus sur le A10 par contre.

    Damage model?

Man...Please look around before creating a new thread, there are 10^10^10^10^10^10^10^10 other threads like this, Including with the same title : https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=174525
  5. F-5 piper doesn't shrink, it has a range in 1000s of feet. Are you sure you are in the right reticle mode (AA1)? Change it below the hud.
  6. Indeed...
  7. I guess it all depends on what you want a speed for : Ideal speed to merge? Ideal speed to try to sustain?
  8. In the F-5, I tend to simply merge as fast as I can get, given you'll need the extra speed and that (appart from the mig-21, but than he's got the power advantage so you still want a high merge speed) everyone out turns you below 300KTS. I wouldn't advice doing one circle merges in the F-5 if possible.
  9. GGTharos, can you confirm whether ED's killing the netcode ''revert'' option or if its a bug?
  10. Doubt it will change much, but why not lol : 1) Tanker AI being drunk/lazy (you gotta plug it yourself). Very old bug. Affects at least the F-15 2) F-15 TWS FPS loss : After a few hours of playing, locking someone in TWS gives you ~10FPS, switching to STT makes it normal. Encountered like a year ago. 3)Memory leak (since 1.5) : Playing with less than 16Gb of RAM makes a lot of lag-spikes/performance grows worst as time goes on. (might have been fixed and it tourns out ED said screw 8Bg RAM) 4)HDR (or whatever the setting you can set to hot/cold is) : You can get sun-blinded by looking at the sun's direction, even in dusk/night time.
  11. The moment of Inertia is the measure of opposition to a rotation movement, like mass opposes a change in velocity. It is something that ED used that probably is in the game coding, but I do not have the knowledge to find it, it's not something I can get from a track. Realised I used inertia in the first post...derp/bad habits
  12. It would make sense : He's over MAC1 at a moderate altitude, the aileron that induced the roll will have been under an important force, which could easily add up to > than the weight of the wing. There would be an easy way to find out, if we could get the Su-27's inertia and the wing weight (to figure out local G).
  13. Making ED change something is hard though...Look at the missiles :/
  14. IT was before the new netcode ;) BUT my thing is that, even though the mirage is now arguably realistic, it isnt on par with other planes
  15. All of the above was in pvp, but, as I said, my anecdotes are dated. Though, there's a discrepancy that remains compared to any other plane. Here's a video if you want to laugh : As for that DM, all I know by that abbreviation is dungeon master ;)

    ED

  17. Well, as I said, in the -15, anything that hits you (even 1 20mm shell sometimes) will give you an hydro fail and kill you. In other FC3 planes, surviving a MRM (doesn't matter if it poxymity fuzes or not) is an event that is extremely rare, even the Mig-29, that is often described as a tank, will die by a 120 and only survive things like an aim-9s. For the Mig-21, same thing, getting hit by an aim-120, or any missile for that matter, will end your day earlier. The only plane that has a chance of surviving a 120 like the mirage does currently is the a-10, which shouldn't share the same design strength as a fighter at all. Also, as for experiments, I remember things like M2Ks surviving 2 aim-120, 2 R-27, 1 120 and 2 gun 2 second + tracking shots and (worst of all) ramming an F-15 and surviving without important damage. This being said, I think they improved the damage model slightly since than, but there's still a problem.
  18. It is (for hydro), but the ALL the planes have very low survival rate against active missiles, so it would make sense to match what others have made, instead of changing everything else.
  19. I still find 95 kinda low, given that's one out of 20. In 3 years of F-15, I've survived an 120 impact twice, and now with the hydro fail a fuel leak is pretty close to a death sentence. Given the -15 is much bigger, I would expect it to have even more chances of getting away. Well, with bombers the size of the plane sure gives it more chances to survive. Heck, a B-52 survived a HARM impact, which has twice the warhead of a 120.
  20. An AIM-120 can take down a bomber efficiently in dcs at the moment, so you'd think it could take down one of the smallest 4th gen jet pretty casually. Sure, maybe not 99%, but let's say it should do more than cause fuel leaks.
  21. shouldn't be most of the time though, should be 99%
  22. Missing wing canadian logo ;)
  23. +1
  24. Not a fan of 1st gen jets, but there's one version of the 84 that I'd like...You know, the one that makes the whole ground crew sick, the all mighty supersonic turboprop XF-84H!!!
