I think light, color and intensity, is a very important thing in the final product and therefore important to discuss. But it is true that some things are less important, so as to discuss what type of bolt that consumption in a landing wheels. But this case, it is my creed, that it makes sense to help developers on a constructive way with pictures etc. But it have such a huge influence on how we get to experience this whole scenario in the final product, developers try to do their outer residues to create a fairly realistic picture, it is important that they get all the help to do it right. Otherwise I can almost guarantee that there will get a lot of complaints that will not die before they have tweaked it to the right colors and light. So my own opinion, I believe the discussion is justified.

Reviewing creation of buildings in EDGE On Twitter DCS uploaded some tutorial, creating bildings in EDGE. Both in Russian and English language. Perhaps it is helpful to creators who want to build things for the new engine in the future. Her is some of the eng versions. There are more on the Ru part. Take a look for yourself.

New Site Layout Up...Nice new look!

Wow that looks great. Congratulations with your new look and update of the site. -
Upgrading the A10-C is an excellent idea. Even as a new model you have to buy again or buy the upgrade. Who should do it? I prefer ED, but is open to a trusted 3 party company, who have proven their worth. Regarding if USAF will or will not allow it to be modelled, I think it´s worth trying some negotiations. I know it´s delicate matter, but if not trying, we gain nothing at all. Cheers

1.2.16 Open Beta & Stable Branch Discussion
Red Dragon-DK replied to cichlidfan's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
I really hope it´s true, as you all is writing, that the heat in engine have a much more important factor, but I also hope it will become more accurate when it´s full implanted. But we have to remember, it is just being introduced, so we should not expect miracles from the start. In time I hope things like altitude will have a factor on fuel consumption, airspeed and engine temperature. It all adds to realism. Maybe I´m a bit naïve, :smilewink: but I hope some day a dev would come in an give a head up, what they are planning or what their intention is, as engine management is extremely important, in the prop driven aircraft. -
1.2.16 Open Beta & Stable Branch Discussion
Red Dragon-DK replied to cichlidfan's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Piston engine detonation physics introduced Piston engine detonation physics introduced is added to propel driven aircraft in the latest beta patch. That sounds very exiting and happy to see it introduced. I´m aware what a piston engine is in general, so that's not the question. What I don´t know is. How does it effect our flight models? What do it do in the sim/general? Any changes in preferment, service sealing etc.....? Anyone have any ideas or a dev would be so kind to explain what it mean. Cheers -
Wow Great video. Very well done.
