I believe that has been there since the LOMAC days, at least as long as DCSW has been around. Also just FYI, the S-3 was phased out of Naval service in 2009, with a small handfull still operating with VX-30 to patrol the missile ranges off the coast of California.

With the Nevada map, just look at sites like skyvector.com. It has all of the aviation charts for the US as well as airfield charts. It also has basic IFR/VFR charts for the rest of the world.

It seems like the scaling on some of the lights are a bit off. The PAPI lights and Threshold lights seem too tall, and the street lights seem too small.

What about when it is added with weapons and still doesn't have pylons?

Would 3rd party modelers be able to add more airfields to this map? Seeing as there are a great many civil and military airfields that exist within the region that aren't depicted.

I play it once and a while. It has a lot of potential, but it is still a bit clunky in the controls, but is a very powerful battlefield control platform.

I have to agree, but it has so much potential once those defects are rectified. To be able to have full human control of all aspects of the war is the greatest of dreams.

I think it would be interesting to see a flyable tanker. I think a much larger map and multiple crew capacity would make it much more palpable as the tanker would be more of a requirement rather than a novelty. At present I would like to see an AI KC-130 for the hornet or at least the KC-135 wtih Mk32B wingtip drouge pods for NATO support.

I believe the USAF variants of the F-4 lacked the stronger/heavier landing gear of the Navy/Marine variants. I think the only USAF aircraft that were "carrier capable" were some of the A-1s and later A-7s that the USAF picked up second hand from the USN.

Are the fuel boost pumps turned on? Also make sure your throttles are at idle. I have hat it where a restart or start won't happen because your throttle is above idle.

I was always under the impression that the Black Sea map would not be supported with EDGE. Has this changed?

did you make sure that your throttles were at idle? I have had this happen only to find that the throttles were slightly advanced. Hit "page down" to ensure that they are all the way at idle.

I do believe the Brad Paisley song, "I'm Gonna Miss Her" is quite appropriate here.

I thought this must be a joke, no way it would be true, not today, but I loaded up Steam anyway. DOH!!!
