Or the Mi-24 used as an ambulance in a FireFly episode, or that fact that they used a lot of airliner control columns and throttle quadrants for their space ship controls.
Anti-skid does exactly what it sounds like it does. It prevent the wheels from locking up during braking. There really isn't a reason to have it disabled unless there is a systems failure that disables it.
I agree, I also use a Logitech, and use a curve of about 25 for each aircraft, inlcuding the Huey, but I do not have any dead zones set, all seem to fly pretty good and stable.
Also the S-3 is presently out of regular service in the Navy, VX-30 has one or two for range surveillance and control, other than that, they have all been retired as of 2009.
I am pretty certain that the lights are going to be dimming for several blocks around wherever it is they keep the server from the load this community is about to put on it.
I guess it's time to start beating the team mercilessly about the head until they can turn out a functional product.
Kidding, great work and congratulations to all of ED and their hard work.
It should just be a matter of locating the correct texture file and changing it, I would guess there will be quite a few name mods coming in the weeks following the release.
Was rummaging through Controller.com today and found this, thought it was fitting...anyone want to go halvsies? Apparently this is for sale and able to be restored to a flyable condition. On a side note, I am working on some SLUF Sunset skins for VA-46 and 72.

The good news is that there are many towers, even in the US that don't have an ATIS, so the controller will disseminate the weather to each aircraft upon check-in. Usually this can be quick with just the winds and altimeter, and ceiling and visibility if it is less than 5000' and/or 5 miles (I am a former military and current civilian ATC).
That is what I took from the video, also if you watch the various videos they are visible, now whether they are the ALSF-1 type (at LSV and Groom) and the MALS(F) systems at LAS, I don't know.
