  1. I agree, it looks better being invisible.
  2. you need to do work on the HB_F14_LOD1_3in1.dds file. I have a skin I downloaded, where the original person who made the skin, never worked on that file, so when I zoomed out it was an entirely different skin.
  3. I'm waiting for the Tomcat update more than anything.
  4. 1. Almost daily for several hours 2. Since release. 3. Growling Sidewinder's Caucasus server, Aerobatics server, 104th Phoenix server, Hoggit GaW, Through The Inferno Caucasus.
  5. Iv'e rarely had CTD's this last 2 patches.
  6. Same here. I can't get rid of the menu when he's dead
  7. I don't know, I just let the plane automatically do its thing, I've had very good results that way, although at super slow speeds I'd use full flaps to get that extra edge and retract them as soon as possible, as to not forget and exceed the speed limit on them and lock them up.
  8. I thought combat flaps deployed automatically?
  9. Look at the missiles markings, and then look at the bottom left. :megalol:
  10. Okay, so I'm not the only one that's been experiencing this.
  11. The Tomcat has never let me down, only I have let the Tomcat down by not respecting the plane and flying better, but with the time I've spent so far, I've learned alot about my own flying, and how much I needed to improve. Now I can't stop flying the Tomcat, I cannot fly any other plane in DCS because its that good of a plane to fly, very rewarding when you fly correctly.
  12. What do you mean? I use autopilot in the Tomcat all the time
  13. Funny, cheesy, and well edited. 11/10.
  14. Well, its more than possible to turn fight with your tanks still attached and win, but the Tomcat guzzles fuel like nothing when you're in full AB and keep it there, so I guess it also depends on your fuel management, that extra bit of fuel could help.
  15. well first off the F-14 that we have in DCS currently uses the ALR-67 and yes it does have azimuth inaccuracies in it (awesome job from HB for including this). Secondly, RWR's are not that accurate to begin with, and they lie much much more than the radar does.
  16. When will this amazing skin be available for download comrade.
  17. I reset my curves on pitch and roll back to zero, after I got used to the Tomcat's handling when I did have the curves, now I can fly it just fine without the curves oddly enough, it now feels very natural and smooth with a curvature of zero.
  18. Jester automatically goes into TWS Auto. Did you check the TID to see if the bandits were flashing?
