An F-86 and a Mig-15 would be a must have for me... I suspect that many would buy into a Korean war scenario... I love the idea of early jet warfare :)

I don't need points in any mission, I don't need or want to 'have to' complete a certain task to allow me to continue in the on going war... all that does is emphasise that I'm playing a game, and any reality I'm trying to achieve has just been broken. In real life not every sortie or tasking works out as planned, and often there are failures and losses. When these things happen, the pilot/unit/squadron has to continue the war the next day and every day thereafter, regardless of the outcome.

It's not ugly, just different!...

Flight simmers are a demanding crowd... it's the same on all flight sim forums for all the different games out there... but I think it's because most people are so passionate about their hobby. I'm sure all developers out there know that as well, and have grown accustomed to our 'demanding wants' :) The majority of us post with a well meaning intention, plus sometimes posts can be misinterpreted (it's the internet, lol!) but there is that small minority that can be a bit over the top it has to be said...

Has anyone ever mentioned the possibility of a Korea map and the aircraft to fly on it?

Comrades... Apart from the obvious flight controls that I have mapped to my joystick and throttle system, I'd be obliged if anyone could furnish me with the 'must have' buttons and commands that have to be mapped for combat flying. I'm learning quite a few keyboard commands now, but there must be a few commands that 'have' to be on the joystick/throttle setup. Many thanks for any :helpsmilie: or ideas!

I was doing WWII combat tactics in an Extra 200 a couple of years ago... Great fun! The ex RAF instructor told me I was pulling sustained 7G turns and still managed to hold it all together. Not bad for a 50 year old!
