  1. I'll look into this. I've also experienced such an issue, with the aircraft behaving too violently in the wake turbulence. The forces and moments of wind and turbulence are directly applied on top of the EFM by DCS but I'll see if I can change anything else.
  2. Great job. For sustained turn, you can also set the fuel level to an equal time-to-zero-fuel, to account for various internal fuel level and afterburner fuel efficiencies in different aircraft.
  3. You should be good up to 205kts even at maximum take-off weight, only if you don't apply wheel brakes at such a speed.
  4. On-speed AOA of JF-17 is 10 deg. The corresponding speed can vary vastly depending on gross weight.
  5. The JF-17 wing is less flexible than a F-16, but still I would like it to be added when our artists have time to work on the animations.
  6. I suggest that ED not spreading misinformation without confirmation from our side.
  7. If ED knows something then they should talk to us directly.
  8. I don't think we've been provided any evidence since release so it will unlikely be changed until new missile FM is available.
  9. I'm sure it will be like a T.O. dash-one when the formal manual is finished.
  10. Thanks for the suggestion. We cross-checked with other official sources that the CFD curve is not wrong. But the current missile model DCS has cannot hit all our data-points at all altitudes. IRL the second-stage boost will not happen immediately after the first-stage. It acts as terminal activate phase boost. Maybe we'll see improvement on the missile API that enables simulation of such aspect. It is the missile team's decision so I can just talk about it.
  11. We've spent countless hours inspecting and comparing curves to our RL data and CFD curves, the most prominent ones being Cx0 and time-to-range. It's a step backwards to suggest that we should use in-game data as reference and overthrow all the previous works.
  12. Not quite. If the server is not using MAGIC_IFF, then it's custom IFF, but only between JF-17 MP players. Custom IFF requires mode and code matching to be able to recognise friendly contacts. For example if you set INT to Mode 2 with code 7777, and your buddy set TRS to the same, then you can see him as friendly (green). If he set TRS to Mode 2 with code 7776, then you see him as a red contact. If he set TRS to other modes, you'll get no response from his transponder and will see him as unknown (yellow).
  13. We beg to differ here. From the CFD data we obtained, the Cx0 of SD10 should be lower than subsonic values above M2.25.
  14. AP within 7 deg bank angle should bring you heading hold.
  15. Hi, I might know this issue. Did you remember what altitude/speed/AOA you were at?
  16. I think we did address the Cx0 issue to ED directly and if you were right, the missile will be tuned. Let's see how it goes.
  17. I think ED can potentially adopt our PN guidance coefficients to extend the range of AIM120 on maneuvering target.
  18. Not rounded to ten in JF-17 IRL.
  19. Currently we do tune the SFM aerodynamic coefficient according to our CFD data, but I think it could be better (and inherently) used on 6DOF rigid-body model since the current SFM are too restrictive on some aspect.
  20. PN guidance coefficients are tuned very carefully by our missile team.
  21. There's a bug that it won't repair external fuel transfer pump. Fixed internally.
  22. There's two keybindings called sensor up/down in the sensor category which are for radar antenna. Already renamed internally to prevent confusion.
  23. DM fixed internally.
  24. Implemented accumulative wing structural fatigue. See you in the next update. While according to our SME in static test, wing will instantly break anyways when reaching some fixed load. That's not magic. Note: Fatigue can only be repaired by a half for gaming purpose.
