  1. The link I posted first was wrong.. This are the correct ones: Su-25T Pit.part1.rar Su-25T Pit.part2.rar Su-25T Pit.part3.rar
  2. (These are the correct links.. I double posted to prevent any confusion..!) Uploading to this link now: [/url]Su-25T Pit.part1.rar Su-25T Pit.part2.rar Su-25T Pit.part3.rar .. but give it a couple of hours before you try! *cause I just started uploading the rar files..
  3. .. well I seem to have DXF drawings of most panels, a whole Helluva lot of reference pics, drawings and Idunnowhat more.. Anyone know where I can upload a 554Mb file for free. If so, It's all yours..!
  4. ... And here are the drawings: .. Give me a couple of hours, and I'll look through the rest. Whatever doesn't suck I'll post..
  5. Su-25 Cockpit Drawings? I think I have my drawings from when I started a Su-25T cockpit.? I buildt the front and side panels, and the K-36D ejection seat. And then they announced that Blackshark was being released... well the rest you can gues..! Some pictures from the building process of the K-36D... I'll see what I find, and post it here for you
  6. Thanx scud..! c",) Today I finished the parts needed to assemble the cyclic and pedal trim force mechanics (finally). There is just one thing I find so damn frustrating.. The Solenoids..! I have ordered at least three different sets of solenoids now. And for some idiotic reason I seem to end up with 24V solenoids as strong as you might need to pull back a hamsters foreskin.. ... If someone out there have an idea of what spesific to look for when I order three more, please please PLEASE speak up..! Or even better.. If you by chance are sitting on three 12v or 24v that might do the job. I'll gladly buy them from you..!? ... before I go completely mental and start electricuting myself...
  7. HeHe.. You of all should understand Norwegian Scud..! It is after all a germanic language..:smartass:
  8. Hallais Kevlon..! Kult å se deg her på forumet da..!
  9. Just quickly adding some pics of the new Ejection Seat under development.. My first one gave me such a pain in my A** that I had to do something. So this time I thought I'd gp all the way and make it as correct (and confortable) as possible..!
  10. I have a bunch of info on the Mig29..! pictures, cad and even the original real-life pilots operation manual describing all functions in the pit..! Pm me your adress mate..
  11. Hmm... By "non-newtonian" you mean a fluids ability to solidify when preassure is applied to it? This only occures in a small number of spesific fluids as far as I know (bitumen and corn-starch being the most common ones). I guessed a hydraulic damper with the coil spring removed, if it's not to big, would mimic the feel of a hydrailic system. But I see your point if the damper size is increased..? Am I way of here?
  12. They are oil dampers from one of those huge RC offroad cars that I bought a bunch of on ebay.. It is just a way to simulate the "hydraulic feeling" that real life helicopters of this size have when you push the pedal in...? However I need to double the number of dampers or get some bigger ones. Without them it all feels a bit to mechanical compared to the real thing. to much "metal on metal" friction, and not enough of the constant resistance that a hydrailic system give you.
  13. Man I REALLY dig the way you design things..! So simple in manufacturing, and still strue to the general outlines of the original.. Ps. Are the rotary dampener also for a pocket bike? I want one for my Collective setup.. (yeah, I know.. You'll see why in a couple of days)
  14. Pitbuilding update 24. may 2010 - Force Trim Center console coming together. Thank you both. I know it must have been close to impossible to imagine what my plan was based on the previous pics. But I hope it's a little clearer now? As I mentioned earlyer there was a couple of things that really bugged me with the original FFB setup. Not at first naturally, but after spending some time in a RL simulator it was just.. WRONG..!? The feeling of actually moving a heavyer mass around with the cyclic stick made the experience more ... well, how should I put it... calm..!? If you look at the picture underneath you'll see that the number of bellcrancs ans pushrods for one axis alone are high. And there is quite a lot of mass to move arround. Now multiply this mass and number of belcrancs by two.. you get the picture..? A heavyer mass to move arround makes your cyclic movement more smooth and you loose much of the small "wrist turbulence" that a standars joystick alows for, or at least I do it seems. This became clear for me when I had the FFB setup, and added a heavy counter balance weight underneath. So I thought that since building all the pushrods and bellcranks was not really an option for me. I needed to make a mechanic where I could control, add and/or remove mass and friction after my own will. The whole thing should look something like this.. The trim disc rotates arround 8mm ballbearings inbedded in bearing block made from 10mm acrylic. The axle held in place with lock-nuts and washers on each side of the center pedestal sides. Adding both rigidity to the pedestal, and making sure there is little play in the system. The caliper lock the trim disc in its position with the help of a spring pulling on the caliper arm (not in picture.. I just couldn't bring myself to draw it). When trim button is pressed the solenoid (also not in picture) pull on the caliper arm, and release the brakepads. This allow the spring to returm to center. As in this picture.. Now I release the trim button. The solenoid disingages, and the brakepads lock the cyclic in a new center posistion. Really quite simple when you see it like this. Hehe. That's got to be one of the coolest compliments I've heard..! Thanx mate!
  15. New Force Trim Mechanics with MC calipers to hold the plates connected to the Centering springs in place. I've ordered three 24V solenoids to activate the Calipers. And filled the Cyclic handle with "Steel plastic" two-component resin to make it act and feel more sturdy.! and the rest.... I'll tell you tomorrow.. I'm just to tired now.. Cya guys...! c",)
  16. love it. Love It. LOVE IT..!
  17. Spring Cleaning anyone? Well, There is no denying it anymore..! I need to do some spring cleaning (clearing)..! Hobby room with soldering bench.. Spot the bench if you can..! LoL!! And the reast are basicly parts for the pit un assembled.. (looking away so you can't see me crying..) .. Parts , parts and more parts (and some old junk of a cnc mill) Building a new enclosure to hold all the elecronics and powersupply and pendant for my new CnC Router. .. and as if I didn't have enough to do with my spare time, I decided (in a moment of general stupification if you ask me now!) to build a cabinet for a Mini-ITX pc mainboard to have in my livingroom.. I could have bought one for next to nothing. But noooooo.,.. Not me..! I had to go build one and spend a weekend routing V-grooves and bending plexiglass with a heatgun like the MORON I AM..! :smartass: Bit it will come out nice once I finish it I guess..!
  18. Dude..! That is just a thing of beauty you've made there..! Seriously, my jaw dropped when I saw the pics! I whish I had acsess to a machining center now after seing your cyclic mechanics..! Here's a small update of what I am working on: The general layout of the three return spring cylynders (for nick, roll and yaw axis). And one of the brake calipers that will hold it in place when trim is not activated. New Front pedestal ..nothing much to say about this picture.. exept it's the wrong may for some reason..?:music_whistling: Force trim brake caliper the same force trim brake caliper, only this time "naked".. The bellcrank that turn the roll-axis paralell to the nick-axis under the cyclic mechanics. .. and another picture of the roll- a.. bladibladiblah.. (I've got to come up with shorter describtions for these damn things..)
  19. Well done mate! That CnC is gonna become your best friend... c",)
  20. Thanx mate.:) I really hope the traces are far enough apart to..! I'm holding of on finishing this part untill I've done the Force Trim mechanics. Partly because I'm not good at focusing on the job at hand when i've got to many projects running at once. But also because I have a sneeking suspition that they maybe should have been further apart..! Tonight I hope to get some more work done on the "desktop Force Trim Joystick"..? I've got really high hopes on this to be honest..!
  21. Ha Ha Ha.. Interresting choise of what forum to post exactly this statement in..!:music_whistling: I just love freedom of speech..
  22. If I can put my 2 cents in here!? I havent tried the new Logitech FFB stick, so I might offend some of the users when saying this... But of all the FFB joysticks I HAVE tested in BS, it's quite clear that none is worth it after trying the MS Sidewinder FFB2... And yes, I know it sucks.. Specially since they're not arround anymore in shops.? And also you loose the benefit of having a HOTAS setup if your not prepaired to do some modding to fushon your HOTAS with the SW mechanics.. But if your up for the modding, I can almost promise you it's gonna be worth while to do so.. If you decide to start searching ebay (or even better.. a more local simular buy/sell website..! I have found SW FFB2 sticks cheaper and in MUCH better condition on a national Buy/sell site), be on the lookout for a SW FFB2 joystick with RED buttons and a red dust protector cup over the gimbal. My understanding is that this is the last production of SW FFB2 joysticks, and they have much higher resolution on the X&Y axis..! Ps. All this being said I have to admitt that I really haven't tried BS without SW FFB2 joystick for more than 10 seconds....:joystick:
  23. Is there any way to make external trimming work in DCS/BS Any progress on this issue? I am getting closer to posting pics of my "buildt in trim function" Joystick now. And it would be nice to know if I have wasted my time on building it..!? Ps. Like I ever feel like building anything is a waste of time.. LOL
  24. I have actually given up on the FFB pedals all together now. Mainly because of this problem.. It seems to me like DCS onloy will allow one FFB device to run in the simulator? As a consequence of this I am building a mechanic Force Trim setup for both Cyclic AND Pedals. But this opens up another potential problem.. With Mech. trimming outside the sim software I can seem to find anything on the issue of having DCS not activate the "return joystick to it's center point in a hurry, or else..." option? My sim PC is still in a box after moving, so could I bother you with testing if this issue can be worked arround?
  25. Force Feedback Amplifier Ver.20 Just finished this today..! Thought I'd post pics just to tease..
