looks amazing and makes wanna push that order button for a DK2 the price isn't the issue , its the low res that deterred me , 1920x1080 is fine but not in portrait (meaning that the whole screen is spread over 1080 pixels instead of normally atleast 1920 pixels. anyway , great video!

Set DCS to work in windowed mode , also for ALT-TAB to work you`ll need another already existing window open.

Do a search and you`ll find how to edit the .lua for the controls to set middle position on these buttons. i know its annoying as hell the way it is and many of us are in the same boat (except when using A10C which has a fully functional warthog profile already built in) on that same note , its also annoying that you cant cycle HUD mods on simple modeled airplanes and have to assign different buttons for all mods. p.s Like the poster above me stated - you can use TARGET and get all buttons and positions to work , if you only fly SU25T its reasonable solution but unacceptable when you fly pretty much everything the sim offers and sometimes several aircraft in a single MP session

We`v done regular 20v20 campaigns but server crashes happens sometimes ,and moving land units (in CA) can kill the server.

could be great for non-a10c aircrafts. i hate having to assigned a million buttons for cycling modes

12GB is a bit low to disable pagefile in my opinion , but you can test it and see for yourself. In any case , the question is - do you feel any hiccups from hdd activity during play? and even without pagefile , dcs accesses assets from the hdd (try to move views with F11 between airfields and you`ll see) i think only no-pagefile+ssd gets you 99% smooth play

If i attack a btr or tank with guns its with full knowing its my last target for the run , as i will be limping home for rearm and repair after that. that top 50cal they got seems like it has radar guidance, maybe i should try jammer next run lol

you cant use other people`s configs as i`v learned this week i re-installed windows due to buying SSD and backed all my configs , none loaded properly on the new install i think it only works on the same system and same windows install (say if you want to re-install DCS or transfer config to open beta ) btw i also got the same setup of Warthug and Saitek combat *edit* i`m talking about in game control profiles not T.A.R.G.E.T or Saitek`s programs which are both useless IMO in DCS (only advantage is enabling middle possition on buttons for none-A10C planes (which is plug and play)

500KG is the weight of the bomb , not the explosive material. if its a bunker buster it only means it can penetrate more armor/concrete before exploding. in real life , a tank 5m near the target isn't so certain to die , but in any case the crew will get such a shock they will probably be dead or badly injured.

Its really annoying you cant access it , not even in read only mode i sometimes go from A-10C , which doesn't really need any settings ( i`m using Warthug so its plug and play) to other planes and i dont remember what i set on my HOTAS

Never got MP mission longer than a few minutes or with many players to play , it always throws errors and the beginning my tracks can reach 100MB in size IRC... (2 hours , air and ground assets moving , 30+ players...)

I`m using Sapphire Tri-X factory OC 280X Without mods and all settings to highest and no traffic @ 1920X1200 im getting (with A10C): ~40 on the runway ~50 in the air ~60 in external view (F2) with mods (HDR, very high visibility range , better ground textures etc...) the frames are lower but the game still feels pretty smooth. i chose 280X over the 770GTX because its faster in every other game, and i`m sure with EDGE it will overtake it in DCS as well.

I`ll tell you how - when i last seen such deep price cuts i just bought everything they offer... and i dont even fly half of them at all...

Good question , i was also wondering how profitable can a module be , considering it takes lots of men hours to make, and the community is not that large.

There is only one 'map' , its the whole of Georgia and its area. As you progress the campaign you will see the front lines shifting and you will get different missions depending on how it went the last mission you played as for a 'Mission Accomplished' message - there is none, you just press ESC and leave the mission when you`v completed your objectives. by the way , i think you might want to consider either drop in on random servers or looking for groups that do TvT campaign , those are really cool and change the feel of the game to something else

I used the SU25T to ease my learning curve before starting to learn to fly the A10C they are completely different but you learn to work the Sim rather than the specific aircraft at first. also take into account the SU25T can do SEAD missions which no other player-controlled aircrafts can (or atleast- should), so sometimes you will prefer it over the A10C the A10C has great tutorials and within a week you will be flying and doing basic navigation/ target practice but without a good HOTAS i cant imagine how you can fly it (not saying you MUST have a Warthog but you need lots of buttons/hats etc. like the real thing) i have only tried the A10A for a few minutes to see how it was but never actually flown a mission with it so i cant comment. *edit* and as for cockpit labels on the SU25T , its not really important as its not a clickable cockpit and most indications are just on/off lights and symbols rather than letters.
